The location is very good. There are small supermarkets to the north, west and east, which is very convenient for shopping.
Take the bus across the road to Copenhagen, and then transfer to the subway, which takes less than 1 hour.
The breakfast is rich and varied, and the environment of the breakfast restaurant is particularly good.
There are many drinks in the hotel (charged).
Around 10mins walk from airport, no need to walk outside. And I like self check in and check out process. Room is clean and the bed is good for rest after 12hrs flight. Moreover, the breakfast is wonderful. Highly recommended this hotel.
Location is near airport, room is clean and tidy. Although it' was hot and without AC, the hotel provides each room a small fan, and it is feeling cool enough during sleep. Staffs are friendly.
The double room was a bit small and didn't have a kettle. When I asked the front desk, they said my small room simply didn't come with one, and even Trip.com couldn't resolve it. Other than that, it was pretty good. The M4 metro station is very close, and within a ten-minute walk, there's a supermarket, a ramen restaurant, and Silo Western Restaurant. Silo's Western food is delicious. The hotel also offers bike rentals for 175 per day, and you can cycle to the city center in about 15 minutes.
Excellent stay. We spent some amazing days in Copenhagen. The room was clean, easy access, everything very intuitive. The hotel is 8 minutes walk from the metro station, so you can get to the center in 20 minutes. Supermarket very close and overall very good service.
I’ve loved the hotel! Eventhough i didnt took bfast but the stay was immaculate. Have to walk bit to go to centre town but it was alright because the weather was sunny and bright , so I really enjoyed walking.
Staffs were accomodate, I made early request to choose the room that is away from noisy (because there is a night club just across the hotel and I do not like that).
I loved the Marshall speaker inside the room, I wish there are more amenities given in the room such as cup , kettle, rather going up and forth to buy a coffee or get some water and some toilet amenities.
Would like to stay here again for sure xx
The hotel is very easy to find. After landing, just take the M3 blue line metro for 7 stops, and you'll find it diagonally opposite the station. Check-in was very straightforward, and the front desk staff spoke excellent English. The only downside was the breakfast; for 125 DKK, it felt like I didn't get much for my money.
Hotel was located less than 15mins walk from the S train station, bus stop near the hotel will get you to Central Station / Tivoli Gardens and you can walk from there to the main square and attractions, front office staff by the name of Siva was very friendly and helpful. We manage to check in early instead of waiting till the stated time, the room assigned was quiet as per our request with amenities provided.. Hotel was pretty busy during our stay, lots of family with kids so the breakfast restaurant was noisy with kids running around. The offerings at the breakfast was mediocre, nothing lavish not even an egg station for omelette or fried eggs (it was just plain pre-made mini omelette and boiled eegg).
Avoid staying here if you are looking for a nice and peaceful breakfast or looking to have the major attractions within walking distance. Overall, still a good option when visiting Copenhagen.

Steel House Hostel was great for my 4 day stay in Copenhagen. I stayed in a 6-person women's room, and got assigned an upper bunk. The room was quite nice (a bit cramped but nothing out of the ordinary), and I liked how high the bunk was- above head height when people were standing, so it didn't feel like others were in my space, and there was plenty of space to sit fully up in the bunk. Bed and pillow was comfy. Lockers were a good size (fit my carry on suitcase plus a backpack; others had bigger suitcases that didn't fit), but the locking mechanism was a bit challenging- basic idea but seemed to be mechanical issues).
There was a thermostat that could be set as low as 17C (~63F), which was the setting in my room, but this didn't work well- it was definitely in the low 70s (F) in the room and felt quite warm for sleeping. The fans in the bathroom and shower (separate, which was good for a shared room) didn't seem to work (no knob apparent for the shower; there was a knob in the bathroom but it didn't do anything), so the room got humid after one or two people showered.
The hostel is huge, and almost more like a hotel. WiFi was spotty or absent in the room, but plenty of common areas to sit or work downstairs. Kitchen was frequently used, and I took advantage of the kitchen fridge for having skyr and fruit for breakfasts (costs 25DKK for your whole stay).
I also rented a bike for a couple days. It seemed overpriced (~135 DKK for 24hr) but can't beat the convenience, and the bike (standard city cruiser) worked just fine.

The rooms are clean, and the hotel staff organizes a lot of activities, with something different happening every day. You can also pay extra for a buffet breakfast and dinner. Plus, there's a pizza buffet every Friday! Getting here from Copenhagen Airport is super convenient; just take bus 5C directly, and the hotel is right on your left when you get off – very easy to find. It's also really close to Tivoli Gardens. Highly recommend!

GGuest UserNeat enough old hotel in the heart of Copenhagen near all things of interest, we enjoyed being able to walk out and find food, transport, parks and shops close by. The hotel itself is a classic old Copenhagen building which shows its age and while I'm sure some find it charming, I would say it's a bit below the standard you come to expect from more modern buildings. The staff was friendly and wanted to accommodate us although the cleaning staff seemed so into their own business that they wouldn't even notice us as we tried getting into the hotel's single elevator, rushing in before us so we almost collided as it didn't seem they were gonna come back inside the lift having just exited. No polite apologies either and on top of that the hallway was at almost all times we came through them, day or night, full of trolleys with used towels, jackets hanging on random hooks and generally just felt cluttered. Don't know if this was on all floors but it gave a weird impression disorder walking through the already-creaky hallway.
As for the room itself, it covered our needs and we didn't have issues with noises from other guests other than those walking through the hallway but at least the walls, floor and ceiling didn't cause disturbance. The beds were a little too soft for our liking and left us feeling sore the day after. Also a shame we didn't get the double-bed we had requested during the booking process. Somehow they mixed that up and reception staff didn't seem to know what our booking involved when we showed up. We decided the twin beds provided could be pushed together instead and leave it at that as we had been up at 4 in the morning and were exhausted. A final note on the room would be the weird furniture choices. You get these bed side tables that look like a school kid's wood working project, kind of rough around the edges and felt very cheap and sort of sloppy from a decorating point of view. In contrast, the reception cafe has a wonderful interior and is very charming so I was a fair bit disappointed that the room gave me this impression.
All in all, the hotel covered the features it should but I had really expected better from the impression I got when making the booking originally. Location is, however, enough of a pull to make up for the negative aspects. Perfect location for sightseeing and access everywhere.
FFarah PI arrived in the evening and the reception welcomed me warmly. I asked for some ice cubes and they kindly gave them for free. My room was on the 12th floor, but the lift was frustratingly(super) slow, definitely troublesome if you’re in a rush.
I stayed for 6 days, and housekeeping only came once, on the 4th day. However, they did mention that extra amenities could be requested at reception. A note for warmer days: opening the window doesn’t make the room feel any breezier, so it can be uncomfortable. Luckily, the mornings and nights were chilly, so I managed to sleep well.
Location-wise, it’s about an 8-minute walk to Ørestad metro and train station. From there, you can take the metro straight into the city centre, catch a train directly to the airport, or even cross the Øresund Bridge to Malmö and Lund. For those seeking halal food, there's Royal Syawarma near Field's mall.
GGuest UserI stayed for three nights at their single bedroom and I enjoyed my stay primarily for the location and the reception area with nice seats and sofas. The bar is open until evening and had coffees too. The location is just next to the main city train station and you can walk for 20 minutes to get to Tivoli, the Parliament House and for a little longer to the mermaid, docks, and war museum. My room was typical European extra small but the shower and bed are more comfortable than the typical budget room in Paris. The breakfast is continental and doesn’t change but they open by 6.30 am, which is a godsend if your flight is early or you’re an early bird. You can cross over to the opposite hotel to access a small gym room (no one used it so I enjoyed it). Absalon is expensive and there are cheaper options but I absolutely didn’t regret staying there.

GGuest UserWhen staying here, you really shouldn't compare the hotel's amenities or service to what you'd expect back home, especially since labor costs here are among the highest. That said, the hotel's location is fantastic – it's super convenient to get everywhere. We spent two days exploring the area and managed to walk to all our destinations.
GGuest UserVery convenient for the airport, just a couple of stops down the metro.I arrived late at night to a friendly welcome. It's a short walk to a lovely beach for some bracing Baltic air.
The room was clean and comfortable. There was a fridge and cooker had I needed them. I was just passing through. I'd certainly consider staying there next time I visit Copenhagen.
KK.L.LChecking in & out are done via the self-check in automat. Didn't try the breakfast. There's an indoor swimming pool which is great. Room is clean & tidy, with some traces of dust though. The hotel looks dated but well-maintained. The bartender is cheerful and staff are friendly. Just a few steps away from Kastrup Airport. Train station connected to the hotel so we simply took the train to Copenhagen city centre ftom the hotel which took about 20 minutes.
GGuest UserLocation is perfect with the exhibtion in Bella Center, as well as the M1/M2 metro station close by.
Cleanliness of the hotel room was good.
The breakfast service was ok but outrageously expensive and crowded with long lines to get in the restaurant and to get your food and coffee. On the opposite site of the restaurant was a second restaurant option which was less busy. I asked very friendly for a fresh bean in cup coffee there, but this was refused. I could only get drip coffee there from the tank or should go (back) to the first crowded restaurant.
On top of this, there was an average waiting queue of 5-10 minutes at the elevators to go down. Next to the amount of people this is mainly caused by the lift program; this is set to prioritize requests set from within the elevator above requests going down at the respective floors.
