Hotel Dengan Gym di Cantabria, Spain

All right!!!!

Lovely small hotel. In a great location. 10 mins walk to Old Town. 25 mins to beach. Bus stops directly outside the hotel which is very useful. There are some lovely restaurants and bars within a 5 min walk. I can strongly recommend The Magnolia restaurant 10/10. Some of the best food I've ever had in Spain and a beautiful setting. Book in advance and ask for top terrace. Superb. The hotel pool is small but big enough to cool down in. There is no bar or restaurant in the hotel but breakfast and drinks are provided in your room. A nice touch. You also get a glass of cava while you get booked in. Miroslava ( Mexican) was great. She couldn't be more helpful. The only down side was the room design. The reading lights are too low. If you want to read in bed the only place for the pillows is over the lights. Totally impracticable and very uncomfortable 😕 A small gripe. Would recommend.

The hotel is clean and spotless. Spa thermal pool opens long hour from 8am to 10pm which is very convenient. Buffet dinner €18 per person is reasonable and food is good. Breakfast is average, lack of hot dishes. The cafe bar offers some Thai cuisine. They are yummy but very small portions. Me and my husband ordered 3 main courses but were still hungry. We wanted to order the 4th course ”Style Thai beef wok” with an additional bowl of rice and we'd pay for the rice. However the waitress refused simply because a bowl of rice is not on the menu! I suggest the hotel to remove the Style Thai beef wok from the menu if they're not able to provide a bowl of rice to go with it. This is authentic Thai style of eating! Very disappointed ! The cafe service need to improve, too rigid, not customer oriented.

Excellent “four star” hotel, Reception Staff helpful, professional and friendly, accommodation excellent. I do feel to pay an additional car parking charge of 15 euros in their underground garage area is frankly an unnecessary extra for hotel guests… parking in the surrounding streets is difficult. Food was just ordinary if a little overpriced, my Veal Entrecôte was mostly good but in parts tough and chewy, chips nothing outstanding, my advice would be to eat out at the many excellent restaurants in the adjoining street. Overall a good four star accommodation but restaurant is lacking due to average food and pricing just on the verge of being to high for what you get.

Excellent location in front of the beach and very close to the Maritime Club

Typical Ibis. The internet was fast, and I paid 10 euros for breakfast, which was decent. The location isn't great, but I didn't have much choice. It's just one train stop to the city center, and the train station is right by the hotel. The room was good, and the shower was excellent.

Genial. El hotel precioso, la ubicación estupenda, el trato amable y profesional, los servicios del balneario muy cuidados así como los estupendos masajes recibidos. Un gran y cuidado bufete para el desayuno destacado la calidad de todos sus productos. Sin lugar a duda, una excelente elección para disfrutar y repetir.

Hotel muy bien situado y con instalaciones bastante buenas...se nota que tuvo una vida anterior pero está muy bien reformado. Personal muy agradable. Sólo 2 pegas: desayuno algo caro para lo que ofrecen a pesar de la buena calidad y parking también un poco caro pero entiendo que es debido a lo casi imposible de aparcar en la calle. Volvería encantado, eso sí!!

Hôtel impeccable, personnel super gentil, petit déjeuner super varié avec la possibilité de déjeuner jusqu'à 11h nickel pour la grasse mat 😅super bien placé en pied de la plage. Pour se déplacer à proximité vous pourrez y trouver des vélos avec l application nextbike facile à utiliser. 'je recommande super séjour 👍👍

The hotel is very nice.Very nice.Great, beautiful, with balcony.The bathroom is a wonderful and ealarea of beauty too.Very friendly staff in all facilities. Breakfast is very good, very rich everything and very complete.To repeat.
