Hotel Dengan Gym di Lapland, Finland

We stayed at Pyhalinna and overall found the apartment itself to be decent. The facilities inside the unit were quite complete and convenient. However, the cleanliness was disappointing — the bed sheets were not clean when we arrived. The funny (and slightly frustrating) part was that after we reported it, someone came to do a light cleaning of the room (even though we were previously told mid-stay cleaning required an extra fee), but the sheets still weren’t changed. The property is ski-in/ski-out and located next to the “family slope,” but there are many areas that really need improvement. First of all, for beginners without a car, it takes around 30 minutes to walk down to the base area to rent equipment(experienced can use the shop on the mountain), and the path is quite unsafe. Honestly, this alone almost made me give a one-star review. Secondly, the so-called family slope wasn’t fully open, and the upper section was surprisingly steep — definitely not what we expected for a family-friendly run. Returning the rental equipment was also inconvenient; you must ski all the way to the bottom because the shop on the mountain doesn’t accept returns. After returning our equipment, we were very lucky that the ski patrol officer Markus kindly offered to take us back up the hotel. We really appreciated his help — without him, it would have been another long and difficult walk. There are simply many practical issues that should be improved. I truly hope the resort can learn from more established ski destinations to create a safer and more beginner-friendly experience. The positive interactions with the staff were the main reason we didn’t give this place a one-star rating — they truly made a difference despite the other issues. The service here is quite good, the staff in the recee will give you some useful advice if you ask, room is really awesome, geting a nice view from the balcony. The breakfast is also good. 服务很好，房间有阳台，浴室，桑拿房。风景很好，周边有几个餐厅可以吃饭。早餐也不错

The staff was really amazing, very friendly. I wasn’t very impressed by the room. The heating was not fully working, there were no basic amenities like a kettle, or even drinking water. Biggest concern was cleanliness as I asked for cleaning on one occasion and beds were poorly made, sheets weren’t changed, the toilet wasn’t properly cleaned as there a piece of paper on the floor which was clearly visible, tissues weren’t restocked and also one of the over covers from the bed was removed and just chucked over the ironing board which was absolutely horrifying to see. Food at the hotel was good and restaurant staff were also very helpful.

It was a wonderful 3 nights stay in the lovely town of Rovaniemi. The hotel is located in the city center, which makes dining and shopping and getting around anywhere super convenient. The train station is also a short 5 minutes drive away. My room was clean, cosy, spacious and tastefully designed. Love the Finnish sauna; we went everyday! Also the breakfast spread was super lovely; love the crayfish salad. The hotel also uses Iittala and Marimekko tableware in the breakfast buffet as well as in the room. I love the Iittala cup they used in the room so much that I bought 2 for my house! Totally recommend this hotel if you visit Rovaniemi!

The Glass Igloo was great but you have to walk to the guesthouse for your showers. The breakfast was great and the restaurant provided good options for lunch and breakfast. For the adventurous, you can go to the nearby supermarket and cook your meal in the sheltered fireplace. Don't forget to experience either the traditional or the electrical sauna during your stay! Most importantly, participate in the guided activities with hot drinks and roasted sausages such as husky sled rides, aurora hunting, and ice skating.

Santasport Hotel is an integrated resort with accommodation, trekking, skiing, bike riding, snowboarding and many other winter activities. They have track for all the activities and it was an enjoyable trip to explore the woods during winter. The hotel has a bowling alley, swimming pool and sauna. It also has a cafe Checking in and out was a breeze and the staff are friendly and helpful. They attend to all guests need and never fail to impress. Room size was reasonable and they also have a clothes drying cabinet. Bed is comfy and I had good sleeps. Breakfast was good with quality soread. Will return to Santasport Hotel if I come for my winter holiday in Rovaniemi.

The family room was very nice, but the fifth person was considered an extra bed and slept on a sofa. The hotel ground floor was great for watching the Northern Lights, and we saw them that night. There seemed to be a sauna in the bathroom, but we didn't try it as we didn't know how to use it. The hotel breakfast was an English breakfast, and the hotel entrance offered views of the ski resort.

The front desk of the hotel is very friendly. The environment and facilities are very good. It is close to the street and is very convenient. There is a bus to Santa Claus Village near the hotel. It is very convenient. The hotel's breakfast is very rich. Highly recommended.

There is no toothbrush, toothpaste and slippers, so bring your own. Skiing is quite convenient, and the breakfast is delicious. But the check-in lobby is not easy to find. The navigation guide is uphill, and it is wrong to climb up and then climb down. I have to drag a board bag everywhere to find it... It's a bit tiring

Breakfast is great! ! ! It is the best in this trip, the variety is not the most, but the taste is the best. While eating breakfast, while enjoying the forest snowfield outside the window, it is really beautiful~ I also had dinner at the restaurant, the Mexican roll And steak, very good. The hotel room is small but very homey, very warm~ the waiter is also very enthusiastic, and it helps a lot of our English rookie. Skiing is also very convenient outside, and ski rental is convenient and not expensive.
