Hotel Dengan Gym di Hiroshima Prefecture, Japan

Located in Hiroshima's bustling commercial district, this hotel is right next to the bus center and Kamiya-cho Sogo department store, making it super convenient for shopping and getting around. The rooms are spacious, bright, clean, and tidy, with pleasant views from the window. Highly recommended!

Excellent hotel located on the waterfront. Room was big enough for 2 with 2 big suitcases. We had a seaview room facing East and the view was fantastic. Rooms are well soundproofed and couldn't hear any of the neighbors, not even any door closing. Facilities are great, as this hotel is a resort with japanese families spending staycations here. The only thing perhaps is that the hotel is about 20 minutes from downtown by public bus, which isn't a problem at all as the bus stop is literally by the hotel main entrance. A great thing is that there's a ferry boat going directly from the hotel to Miyajima island. I had a very nice time using this hotel as a base to visit Hiroshima. Will stay here again next time.

The single room was quite good; it was compact but still had enough space, which is pretty decent for a Japanese hotel. The best feature of the room was the abundance of power outlets everywhere – very modern and meets the current need for charging multiple devices. This definitely deserves a thumbs-up. Furthermore, it was clean and generally quiet, and one of the pillows was a memory foam pillow, which was a nice touch. Of course, the hotel's biggest advantage is its convenience, as it's directly connected to Hiroshima Station. If you exit the central passage's North Exit, turn left, and go to the end of the corridor, you'll find the hotel's second floor. Hiroshima Station itself is a major commercial hub with everything you could need, so it's incredibly convenient. I'll definitely stay here again next time I visit Hiroshima.

The hotel staff were incredibly welcoming and attentive, greeting me upon arrival and seeing me off at check-out. The location is excellent, right next to the station with plenty of dining options nearby, and the hotel's own restaurant is superb. The bedding and pillows in the room were incredibly comfortable, truly impressive – I even considered buying some to take home! The environment was clean and hygienic, and the windows were so spotless they seemed to disappear, giving me a fantastic impression of Hiroshima overall. The only minor downsides were the hairdryer wasn't great, and the shampoo and shower gel weren't big brands, leaving my hair a bit stiff.

We lived this hotel. The design and rooms are very comfortable and the bed was perfect. We booked in with the access to the executive suite which was excellent and the food offer in the evening and the breakfast was great. This was the best hotel we stayed in during our trip through Japan and we would definitely recommend this for all of the above and because it was in a great location for bars and all the tourist sights. Our second night in Hiroshima at the Daiwa was fantastic! It's so close to the subway station, and the room was really spacious. I absolutely loved the Refa hairdryer provided; it made my hair so smooth – such a pleasant surprise. The breakfast was delicious too, and being able to overlook Hiroshima from the 20th floor was amazing. Highly recommend!

The hotel offers aesthetically impressive rooms that match the pictures, with the breathtaking view surpassing all expectations in person. The staff also provided excellent service in accommodating food intolerances. Unfortunately, the culinary experience was disappointing; the food was too mild and underwhelming for the price paid. Furthermore, the Onsen facility was inadequate: it lacked variety with only 2 warm pools and a steam sauna, offered no varying water temperatures (and the cold plunge pool was not cold enough). Additionally, the desired peaceful atmosphere was disrupted by having more of a socializing gathering in the onsen, which lowered the overall impression and value of the wellness area. In summary: excellent rooms but we would have expected more value for money regarding the food and spa.

The location is fantastic, within walking distance to a World Heritage site. The hotel restaurant is also good, with a variety of options. The teppanyaki tasted great. The room was clean and tidy, and the breakfast selection was extensive.

This is a newly opened hotel in Hiroshima. The room has a microwave and washing machine, but no kitchenware. The room is also relatively small but very clean, and the soundproofing is quite good, so I slept very well every night. Breakfast is just simple bread; if there's a big price difference in your booking, I wouldn't recommend buying it. Additionally, from 10 AM to 10 PM, there's a simple drink bar with dried fruits that you can enjoy there, but you can't take them back to your room, which is a bit of a shame. Also, toothbrushes are only provided once! In the room, the lobby amenities only include cotton swabs, combs, and razors, no skincare products.

The hotel staff were all very kind, and the room was clean and comfortable. The most convenient thing was the free bus from the hotel to the station, which was very helpful after eating my way around Miyajima. I'd definitely stay at this hotel again.
