The hotel is located in a serene area of Ikeja Lagos and is very accessible to public transport. The staff are very friendly and helpful. The rooms are well cleaned and tidied. The food is a Chinese buffet type which is good. We paid for breakfast, lunch and dinner. The only slight downside is that there aren't many food options to choose from especially at the breakfast, there wasn't coffee nor tea except green tea. There was neither a complementary tea or coffee in the room until we requested for it but came without any milk which is another downside.
Amongst other positives, the hotel arranged for and paid for our transport back to the airport. The driver came early and waited for us as well so that we were not late for our flight. This is a 5 Star gesture especially for customers who are not living locally.
Overall, I'll rate the hotel service 4.5 ⭐ out of 5. We'll definitely use their services again when next we're visiting Lagos.

Upon arrival, I encountered a front desk attendant who did not speak English, necessitating the use of a translation application for communication.
My assigned room was well-maintained; however, it lacked television channel subscriptions. Furthermore, the absence of an in-room intercom system meant that any service requests required a two-floor descent to the reception area. It became apparent that the hotel's primary clientele likely consists of Chinese or Asian visitors to Nigeria, suggesting a potential oversight in catering to a broader international guest base.
On a positive note, the hotel offered complimentary Wi-Fi, a swimming pool, and a lounge area. The check-out process was exceptional, as the hotel arranged for a driver and vehicle to transport me to the airport, a service I rate highly. Despite the somewhat elevated pricing, I would consider utilizing this hotel again.

I recommend that management consider implementing television viewing options, employing a local staff member proficient in English, and diversifying their menu to include local cuisine.
The hotel is beautiful and clean, room service was very good, but the so called WIFI didn’t work for my entire 3 days stay, that was very disappointing but I sorted my data out to stay entertained, the house keepers are good but can do better, they take tea cups and glasses to the bathroom sink to rinse and put back for you, without proper washing. Hygiene needs improvement, other than that, It’s not bad.

However, the services at the reception desk and Koriko & Co restaurant are 4-Stars. The reception is always crowded, and you spend much time waiting for the staff to attend to you. However, they are apologetic and friendly about keeping you waiting. The food in the restaurant and the varieties are excellent; I mainly ate the local dishes (I ate breakfast daily and ate dinners on several evenings with friends and relatives), and my Lagos taste buds can detect the days when the food tastes superior (must be the different chefs) compare to other days—the meals were warm and delightful. I must recognise the hospitality of the Intern Pastry Chef (Deborah) and ? Food ambassador (Nimi); both checked how the customers enjoyed their meals and hotel stay. They did their job with beautiful smiles and engaged well with everyone. Deborah is a true gem and will add immense value to the hotel brand; her puff-puff is a perfect 10/10.

But now I've extended my stay for four more days because I simply can't leave! Honestly, after traveling through nearly 10 African countries, this Chinese-run hotel is the only one I've been truly satisfied with. The price is reasonable, they offer airport pick-up and drop-off, but what really sealed the deal is the food – breakfast, lunch, and dinner are absolutely amazing and so nourishing! Every meal is different, with at least 8 delicious and appetizing dishes 😍. Don't compare it to China; this is just a recommendation for Chinese travelers visiting Lagos, Nigeria. To be honest, I truly hope our future trips will lead us to similar Chinese hotels. The general manager is hands-on, attentive, and incredibly accommodating, and the head chef, a friendly young man from Dalian, is so welcoming and hospitable. They were able to arrange pick up from the airport when I arrived in Nigeria a day from completing the booking. Pick up from the airport was prompt with the driving personnel maintaining contact from the point of booking before I arrived in Nigeria to the point I got into the car. The manager greeted me on arrival and via email with details of facilities available at the hotel including how to access WiFi. I was impressed by how seamless and efficient the whole process was compared to other hotels I've stayed at. Would definitely recommend.

However, guests (particularly non national) should be cautious when requesting services or ordering food, as pricing are inflated, inconsistent and significantly higher than what’s stipulated on the menu. I would strongly recommend checking the menu carefully and comparing prices with nearby hotels or service providers before making purchases to avoid being overcharged. This is also applicable outside the hotel.

The room I was given was very uncomfortable there are holes inside the pillow case, the bedcovers are old and scratchy on your skin, cockroach inside the bedroom, the bathroom needs repair, there food was not good, I couldn’t even eat the fish it’s was black inside, that was my first and last food that I ordered .

The only snag about this hotel is that they need to work on their breakfast. It’s like they impose what they like on lodgers, which should not be so. IIn addition, they need to work on some of their gadgets I.e obsolete tiny refrigerators with molds sorrounding the fridge. The internet, forget it, it’s not something to home about, flunctuation is the order of the day. Staffs are courteous. Great team👍👍👍
