Parking lot well lit for those dark winter months when you are out late searching for the Aurora and get the hotel late. Also visible security at night in the lobby. We stayed in a deluxe queen that came with free breakfast. Breakfast was better than most free breakfast options at hotels. The staff also gave us a container for food to take to our daughter who was still asleep after being up late looking for the northern lights. Room had space for our luggage and a microwave and fridge. The bathroom door is a strange set up. It separates the bedroom from the room but the second doorway has no door to the room where the toilet and shower are located so if someone is getting ready at the sink they have to deal with the steam from the shower or need to leave to provide privacy for someone to use the toilet. A door could make this set up so much better.

Great place by the airport. For people on transit it is hard to beat. It gets the job done if that’s all you need. But if you’re looking for someplace to stay more than one night, other venues may be better suited.

Pike's lodge was very cozy and just down the road from the airport. When we first entered our room, I noticed some tracks were left on the floor from the previous guests. The water pressure was good, and if you had room 502 then the room will never get below 76🥵 degrees. There are a lot of elderly guests that stay there and guessing they are always cold so they crank the heat up in all their rooms which in by proximity and thermodynamics will heat your room as well. Had the thermostats set to 65 but never went below 76 degrees.

Just want to give a huge 'Thank You' to the front desk manager, Angela, at Clarion Suites Downtown Anchorage... I was completely exhausted from long travel and tried to do as much as I could to stay awake until my check-in time so I could nap and then head off to photograph/write at sports events... Angela was very funny/informative/helpful and got me situated. And she did this while minding a multitude of various youth sports teams that were, well, acting like youth sports teams. I am a professional writer/photographer and thanks to her kindness and thoughtfulness I will always stay at Clarion Suites Downtown Anchorage when traveling through.

공항 셔틀 버스가 있다고 명시 되어 있어서 예약을 했지만 공항 셔틀이 없었습니다. 결국 리프트를 불러 이동했습니다. 참고 하시길 바랍니다. 조식 포함 가격이었으나 조식은 매우 간단하게 제공되는 수준이라 크게 메리트를 느끼지 못했습니다. 오히려 공항과 매우 가깝고(차로 10분) 주변에 아주 맛있는 베트남 식당이 있다는 것이 이점입니다. 가격 대비 만족도가 낮아 추천은 어렵습니다.

Terdapat pesta ulang tahun kanak-kanak atau sesuatu yang berlaku di mana terdapat banyak anak-anak yang suka bertengkar berlari naik dan turun di lorong, membuat semua kebisingan ini sepanjang saya tinggal. Tidak menyeronokkan sama sekali.

This is an average Marriott hotel at best. The furnishings are a little dated, the beds were comfortable and the location is in downtown Fairbanks. The elevators can be a little slow and most of the staff seemed helpful and friendly. Pros: It's downtown Fairbanks and there were a few nice restaurants within walking distance. You'll want a rental car though because you have drive pretty much everywhere. The view of the river wasn't anything special but maybe it is in the warmer months. The onsite restaurant is pretty good. Cons: it's downtown Fairbanks and the area is a little sketchy. You encounter quite a few people experiencing homelessness and struggling with addictions. One particular woman who works the front desk in the evenings was the least friendly and least helpful person that we encountered during our entire week long trip. She initially checked us in upon arrival giving us the minimum required information. Nothing extra like we serve breakfast or you'll find coffee over there, etc. Then on our last night, we arrived back at the hotel about 10 pm and couldn't find any parking in the hotel lot or on the street nearby. We parked in a handicapped space while we went inside to see if she had any advice about where to look for parking. When I approached the front desk, she had her head down looking at something on the desk and didn't look up while I stood there. After a couple of minutes, I said, excuse me, could you tell us where to park if the lot is full? She looked at me like I was asking her to solve a complicated math equation. Then she turned to look at the parking lot via the video feed of the parking lot. After scanning it, she said it looks like the overflow lot is full too. When we asked what we should do, she suggested that we come down every two hours and check for on street parking. It's now after 10 pm, we have a very early flight the next day and we're Marriott Platinum card holders. My husband asked if we could park where the hotel shuttle parks. Luckily, at that moment, the shuttle driver came in and offered to go out to the parking lot to see if he could figure something out. Maybe this person would work out better if she worked in housekeeping doing laundry by herself. She clearly doesn't enjoy working with the guests. We'll probably stay somewhere else on our next trip to Fairbanks. The cons outweigh the pros at this hotel.

Let this review and the many other recent reviews of this hotel be a warning. My family and I have never had a worse hotel experience. Our first room did not have reliable Wi-Fi, so staff moved us to a different room. Both rooms were filthy from floor to ceiling. Stains and marks covered the walls; the bathroom floor was sticky; all lampshades in the room were deformed, dirty, and broken; the carpet baseboards were detached and hanging from the walls; the carpet was stained in many places and appeared not to have been vacuumed after the previous lodgers; and the bathtub was stained. The second room only had about 1/8 of a roll of toilet paper, despite having just been serviced, so we got an extra roll from the service cart ourselves. The stopper in the bathroom sink of the second room did not work. At breakfast the following morning, the juice machine was out of commission; the yogurt had run out even though we were there early; the “hot” water for tea was simply warm tap water poured into a thermos, not boiled water (we could see the water source from our seat in the breakfast area); and the coffee was filled with grounds. Worst of all, though, was the noise that kept us awake most of the night, despite the fact that we were wearing earplugs and had a noise machine running at high volume. At regular intervals every hour or two, from evening until morning, there was the sound of people talking and furniture being moved on a hard floor. We couldn’t tolerate a second sleepless night, which is why we checked out after just one day, even though we originally intended to stay much longer. Staff at the front desk insisted on billing us for a second night’s stay, telling me that only the manager could waive the charge. I asked to speak to the manager, but was told he was not yet available for the day. I have never before asked to speak to a hotel manager and would not have done that this time had hotel staff not directed me to him as the sole person with authority to assist me. I called back later that day but was told the manager had already left. Both of my attempts to speak with the manager that Friday were during business hours. After checking out, I called the hotel four times and even stopped back in person, just before leaving Alaska for home. I was left waiting for more than 30 minutes even though the manager was in his office, then was finally told by the desk staff that the manager now claimed that only the hotel owner could waive the charge for the second night. Not once did the manager actually speak to me. He passed messages through the staff, who appeared terribly overworked and harried. Also, I was never told how to contact the owner myself but was assured that the manager would do that. To date I have heard nothing from the manager and don’t expect to, given his appalling customer service. Wyndham customer service has provided very little help. First I was offered points. When I emphasized that I don't care

There really are good and bad points about this hotel. Having the shuttle from the station/airport is excellent, the room was comfortable and clean and the breakfast was adequate. Location wise it’s quite a walk to get to anything, and you only really have a choice of fast food outlets around the hotel. Our room was on the side of the busy road though, so it was really noisy, and meant you had to ramp the air conditioning/fan up to drown it out, we did ask to change rooms immediately but could only move for the last night, but what a difference that made. Seeing the Aurora outside the hotel on the first night though was incredible, an amazing experience.

Cozy, clean, and nice lobby with 24/7 coffee and water dispenser. Front desk staff were not warm but they do their job so all good. Value for money! Room was nice and clean except for a damaged/torn portion of where carpet meets non-carpet area by the entrance. Room had comfortable beds, a small refrigerator, and microwave oven. Ice machine on 3rd floor was broken so we had to get from ground floor because 2nd floor machine ran out of ice. Included breakfast was great and satisfying; staff in that area are warm and friendly. Hotel is very close to the airport. Free transport to airport was great. Gave good tip to the driver who assisted with our luggage.

Basic hotel with continental breakfast! During our stay with negative 45 Temps outside, the rooms stayed cozy and toasty! We were more worried about the heating situation because we've stayed in cold weather states and 5 star hotels without good heating. The staff were very friendly! We used a shuttle from and back to the airport. We flew in a bit earlier, so after calling the hotel, the staff said they could come and pick us up earlier. Overall and good experience. If you are looking for a 5 star hotels, this isn't. However, it is very clean and warm. Which I love. The beds and blankets were comfortable.

The Staff, was incredibly helpful and friendly. Even when my dog had a couple of accidents in the hall way. Robert the General manager even recommended when we take the weekly rate when we were only going to pay for 6 days it gave us another day to figure things out. I would recommend to anyone with or without pets!

This time, the room was very clean. The only glitch was the main television didn’t really work. I talked to front desk several times but it didn’t get fixed. The tv remote was old, but very clean, missing the back case, and I asked for another remote but didn’t get one. The tv would freeze and glitch. Overall, other than the tv, the visit was really nice. Clean and workers were pleasant

Stayed here for a week in mid January. There was a little mixup or misunderstanding regarding getting a shuttle to the hotel from the airport, but it was quickly worked out by the front desk personnel. This was a huge relief at 12:30 am after a 12+ hour, two plane flight. Check in was fast and smooth. We had the two connecting rooms on the third floor and it worked perfect for our family of four with two older children. Free laundry and a good selection of products in their cabinet store were a plus. Kitchen was good for quick meals. The sunrise was gorgeous from the front of the hotel. The lady who worked overnight, Karylyn(?) was very friendly and helpful. All of the housekeepers were nice and always smiling. The property manager was also very friendly. Great experience here.

This house is on great location between Fairbanks and Chena hot springs. The view from there is just amazing, breath taking. We were not so lucky to see Aurora, because of claudy weather, but I still dont regret to book that place. Its little bit pricier, but definitely worthy. It does have a lot of rules, but I understand they want to keep it pretty clean and quiet.
