Fantastic hotel - lovely rooms (we had the Small Double and it was more than fine for the two of us) and all areas beautifully done. The staff were so helpful and friendly, especially Raul, whose recommendations and advice was invaluable. Only slight drawback was not having an on-site restaurant but there are so many good places within 5 minutes walk that it really doesn’t matter (again, really good recommendations made!) Right in the centre of San Pedro (actually behind the church) but felt very safe and secure, and literally a couple of minutes from the shops, market, restaurants and excursion agents. Breakfast was fine - eggs an option to the buffet; fresh OJ on request and access to coffee etc whenever needed. Towels available for hire for the excursions that involve swimming. We stayed for 3 lovely days and would highly recommend this hotel. Thank you for looking after us so well.

Rustic style property with a nice pool area. No frills room with a lack of attention to detail in some areas, but with a comfy bed and good WiFi. No aircon makes it too hot in summer. As a warning, do not stay on a Saturday, as they do a loud pool party open to the general public, and the pool, restaurant and common areas are taken by the whole village, completely killing the peaceful atmosphere of the place. I don’t think this is fair for the hotel paying guests, who come here for a relaxing stay and not to share all the facilities with external guests. It’s a super hot day and instead of being able to have a refreshing dip and chill by the pool, we find ourselves staying in our non air conditioned room as the pool was completely taken by loud external patrons.

I recently stayed at the Ibis Hotel and was thoroughly impressed by the experience. From the moment I arrived, the friendly and efficient staff made me feel welcome. Check-in was seamless, and they did me earlier check in. The breakfast buffet was pretty good, offering a variety of breakfast options like omelette, sandwiches, yoghurt with granola, sweets . The hotel's location was convenient, close to public transport to go to San Pedro de Atacama and lots of Peruvian/Bolivian restaurants. Overall, the Ibis Hotel provided excellent service, comfort, and convenience. I highly recommend it for anyone looking for a pleasant stay.

The check in was smooth. I as a non-Chilean didn't need to pay the extra taxes. It's 1.5km from centro, but that's not a big problem. I walked back and forth to centro, and I felt safe even at late night. The room was ok. The bunk bed was sturdy. There were 3 living areas: indoor, roofed outdoor, and rooftop. Rey Lagarto has the typical international hostel vibes and services. The major room for improvement was the wifi, which was slow and unstable. I'm not sure if this was about the geography of Atacama.

I did like the hotel but the pool had moss, location is spectacular. I had to pay a tax because I am Chilean, that was an extra 80-usd. Not ideal, just learned about this law when I got into the hotel. Rooms don’t have AC, we had to ask for a fan. Staff was very kind.

Sebuah resort kecil yang sangat cantik di mana ramai pelancong Eropah dan Amerika tinggal. Hotel ini mempunyai kemudahan yang lengkap, sarapan pagi yang mewah, dan agensi pelancongan kecil serta restoran yang sangat baik, dan anda boleh menginap selama sehari tanpa keluar. Terdapat sebuah kereta ke pusat bandar setiap setengah jam. Pada waktu malam, melihat pemandangan malam di halaman rumah untuk melihat langit berbintang sungguh menakjubkan.
