Real Abadia, Congress & Spa Hotel

Real Abadia, Congress & Spa Hotel ★★★★

📍 Rua da Escola, Capuchos, Évora de Alcobaça

"I loved my stay here! The location is fantastic, close to the city yet nestled in the countryside. The front desk staff were very attentive, as were the restaurant staff, especially a blonde waitress whom I believe wasn't Portuguese. She always served us with a smile, from breakfast until we left. A big thank you to her! The only thing that could be improved is the air conditioning, as it gets very hot, especially near the windows."

📍 R. Dr. Francisco Zagalo 20, Alcobaça

"Check-in from 4 pm, which may be natural in Portugal, but I had time left. When I stopped by the hotel for lunch and tried to pick up my luggage, the hotel door was closed. 3 What a terrible service even though it is a star hotel."

Guesthouse of Alcobaça ★★★

📍 R. Bernardino Lopes de Oliveira 7, Alcobaça

"The guesthouse is a 7-minute walk from the famous Al-Qabassa Monastery, where we enjoyed stunning views at dusk and sunrise. The guesthouse is well-equipped with parking and a simple breakfast to meet your travel needs. However, there is no elevator, so consider this if you have large luggage."

"Hotel with a great Spa, we loved the tea part before or after the Spa but the room was very small afterwards. Rooms need renovation, in addition to the old room itself, old television and bathroom reminiscent of an Algarve Hotel. Good breakfast. Overall a good hotel but needs a push"

Bungalows Land'Shause

"Worst park in Europe, nothing but 💩💩 between the bungalows, clogged septic tanks, they dump the sewage under the bungalows, I even took photos and videos, the reception was the worst ever, the receptionist, a lady from Brazil who doesn't have the temperament to be a receptionist, treats us badly, they don't return the deposit, they make up excuses not to return it, mattresses full of urine stains, mosquitoes everywhere, we couldn't even sleep, the boss was always yelling and lying on the reception sofa, I heard the employees saying that he doesn't pay salaries among other things.... I DO NOT RECOMMEND"

"The room was spacious, and unusually for a European hotel, it provided disposable slippers and other amenities, as well as complimentary apples and macarons. The environment was excellent, and my family was very satisfied. Highly recommended."

"Staff was very friendly. Spacious bedroom and cleanliness is 👍. Is a resort … don’t expect any convenient store nearby. Other than that, we love staying at the hotel! A few days of relaxation before returning to reality 😆"

"Beautiful, historic property walking distance to the monastery and town. Pedro makes the best, most beautiful breakfast table in Portugal! Floors are original, so squeaky. Only issue because we didn’t want to wake anyone as we’re early risers."
