"We stayed for three nights. There are small shops and restaurants around the hotel. However, the hotel facilities were always out of order. The power circuit breaker in the room tripped on the first day and the water supply was cut off for the next two days."

"The hotel was spotless, the staff very friendly and helpful. The room had everything we required and was cleaned daily. The bar was fabulous, it was run by George who was a wonderful host, really friendly and made an excellent Bloody Mary, thanks George. It was literally a 3 minute walk into the town which had bars and restaurants aplenty. I would definitely recommend this hotel and would visit again."

"Positives: - the staff are so lovely!!! (Thank you esp Nick, so lovely!) - the rooms are fabulous, comfy and clean, all with a view of the sea which is nice - breakfasts were very yummy and varied, with a good selection for gluten free etc, pool bar also lovely for lunch and reasonably priced. Negatives : - wasps are a big problem here, in the breakfast area especially. We had Jungle Formula and sprayed this on the table before eating which did help. Important to note that the wasps are all over Argassi but there is a high abundance of them at the hotel too. - the bar down to the sea is very unstable and could do with being fixed - very muddy areas where the grass has died off - this is a bit yuck when you are wet or have wet feet as it goes everywhere, worse in the grassy area not by the pool. - the road behind the hotel is hellish and it can be very difficult to cross at times, when super busy. It's on a bad bend so never know what is coming! - because of this busy road, I found it very difficult to sleep - very noisy especially around 3.30am? Could always hear a lot of loud revving. - the shower will flood your bathroom and there is limited storage in here Aware that I have written more negs than positives but honestly these are just being nit picky. We had a beautiful holiday in Argassi. So relaxing and loved bopping about in the sea. Places to eat: green frog - very yum, good entertainment Apollos Zorbas"

"10 night stay room 26 in September. Positives decent wi fi ,rooms cleaned every day very quiet at night no noise at all.Negatives sour miserable curmudgeon of an owner.The road into the main centre is like stepping onto the M6.Rooms bizarrely furbished with a shower like something out of a spaceship in a bathroom the size of a broom cupboard. Not a soul in the bar anytime we were there.Used the pool once due to lack of loungers.Overall a below average stay in dated accommodation much better places to stay in the resort"

"We didn't expect to experience such a pleasant stay, especially since our previous choice was below average. Argassi is a good location for those who want a peaceful day and a vivid night! A place for all tastes. We loved the room facilities and even more, the staff who put great effort to meet our expectations! We will definitely come again!"

"WARNING You will have to get up at 6am to get a sun bed by the pool Yes floors around pools can be slippery but this flooring is next level around the pool area! - as mentioned numerous times by different customers on trip advisor Tiles are not fit for purpose Multiple falls witnessed around the pool area Apparently have not had any complaints of falls and injuries? Despite seeing this daily Nothing put in place extra as this clearly is an issue as i know this has been brought to their attention numerous times whilst i was there. Katerina staff nor Tui take any accountability for this nor care about peoples safety People seriously hurt themselves whilst i was there one young boy cracked his head open, another broke her spine in 2 places and another lady fell down the stairs and had severe bruising Staff rude and uninviting Paid €70 per room - which was not informed about prior The only good things about this holiday were being close to other things/ food places etc.. and the cleaning staff for our room was good"

"Personally, I think Zakynthos is much more beautiful than Santorini. This is another beautiful hotel. It can be said to be very good in all aspects. I live on the first floor, right outside the door is the swimming pool and pool restaurant. Because it is on the top of a mountain, the scenery is great when having breakfast. As for the shortcomings, apart from being a little expensive, it is a bit far from the main commercial street, nearly a kilometer walk. Furthermore, the sound insulation between the upper and lower floors is not good, which is reflected in the sound of water pipes and the sound of dragging things upstairs."

"Ok , first things first.This hotel is NOT dirty it's NOT terrible .The recent reviews of this hotel had us extremely worried before we went but we needn't have worried .The hotel is in need of upgrade in areas but when this hotel is upgraded you will be paying a whole lot more .If you're a frequent visitor to the Greek Islands , you will be well aware of all the little quirks . The staff were all freindly and welcoming and helpful when needed .As I said , the rooms are a little dated but for us , the room was just a place to rest our heads .The views were to die for .The pool and poolside bar where fine with direct access to the sea and stoney beach .I would recommend beach shoes for this .The Garden Restaurant on the top floor was superb for the food and ambience, again with the staff being so friendly. Yes it is a 10 minute walk into town with no pavements in places .Please don't be worried if you're thinking of booking , yes it's not the Ritz but you will be gine .Please don't punish this family business just because previous guests have their own agenda, and the main question is would I go back .Yes I would."
