Stayed for a couple of nights at Gran Hotel Zurbaran in Badajoz, and thouroughly enjoyed it. From the higher floors there is a beautiful view over the Guadiana river (if the room is facing the back of the hotel). Very central, is ideal to explore the old town or to walk along the pleaseant river banks or across over the bridges. Parking can be a headhake, although free (there is parking inside the hotel at €12,50/day. The staff is very kind and accomodating, always ready to help. It’s a reasonable 4* hotel, but it is starting to need little bits of renovation. Spacious room and comfortable bed. If you book well in advance you might get a better price. Little discount if you become a (free) member of Sercotel. Great stay. Recommend the hotel. Will go back again.

Used this hotel as a one night stopover travelling down and back from the Algarve. Hotel is well located with easily accessible secure and plentiful underground parking. Nice welcome upon arrival on both stays. Rooms were well equipped and nicely maintained with comfortable beds, nice linen and towels. We opted for Dinner B&B as the price offered was so attractive we did not expect too much but how wrong we were. As with most hotels away from the tourist coastal areas lunch is served till 4pm and then dinner from 9pm which is too late for us. On both occasions we arrived before 3pm so took advantage of the option to use the dinner credit for lunch in the bar area. So glad we did there was a decent choice of options for the 3 courses included which were very nice. Breakfast was served buffet style in a large restaurant area to the rear. On the first stay we were a bit disappointed although there was plenty on offer some of the cooking let it down. The croissants were undercooked almost white in colour and not flaky at all. The fried eggs were cold but done to a crisp underneath and the bacon was cold and sitting in a lot of grease. On the second visit the breakfast was far better with everything being far better presented and warmer. For the price of our stays and what we received I suggest it was great value and would thoroughly recommend this hotel for a stopover as we did.

Es un lugar bien enclavado en el entorno histórico. Habitaciones confortables. Si tienes vecinos en las habitaciones contiguas que se despierten temprano, favorecen que te levantes a la misma hora que ellos, por decirlo con el mejor humor del mundo. El personal es una pasada de atento y educado, la atención es bastante buena. No hay cafetería, pero en el entorno hay mucha cantidad gastronómica.

This was a return stay for us in Badajoz for an overnight stay on our road trip to the Algarve. Friendly, very helpful staff. Great bedrooms with a balcony and comfortable beds.good internet access. A nice swimming pool. A good breakfast with a large selection of food. Good car parking facilities

Siempre que viajo a Badajoz me alojo en este hotel. Cumple con todas las garantías para una estancia de lujo.

A pesar de que indiqué que quería una habitación con una cama doble, y pagué más por ello, nos asignaron una habitación con dos camas individuales. En ningún sitio se indicaba que dependía de la disponibilidad, porque como digo, de hecho pagamos más. Por lo demás la habitación estaba bien, tenía nevera y estaba limpio. En general es una buena zona y había parking para los clientes.

Es un apartamento completamente reformado, nuevo y limpio. Está situado en una zona tranquila, no hay mucho que ver alrededor, aunque a pocos minutos a pie está la Catedral y una zona de muchos pubs y bares. Hay un parking gratuito a pocos minutos a pie. El gerente muy amable en el trato. Por ponerle una pega, la Tv. Es una smartTv, con un funcionamiento un tanto extraño para poder ver canales de tv, que te quitan las ganas de ponerla. Incluso le han puesto bajo ella unas instrucciones por escrito

O hotel foi difícil achar. Não têm uma placa quê se veja nas esquinas. Fica perto do centro histórico. Muito perto da praça da Espanha. É relativamente perto de outros lugares histórico da cidade. Têm comércio perto. Quando for a Extremadura cuidado com os horários. Principalmente na época do calor. O hotel é meio estranho. A moça quê nos recebeu era simpática. Más nem um mapa tinha. Não deve ser culpa dela. O tamanho do quarto era pequeno. O travesseiro não tinha fronha tive quê dormir com uma camiseta minha pára não colocar o rosto no tecido. O sabão tb não era lá essas coisas. Tinha ar condicionado. Más não ligamos. É um frigorífico. Estava desligado é não ligamos. O lugar é meio velho. A noite muito barulho. De TV de pessoas entrando. Falando. Não tinham respeito com a hora. Como tb não tinha telefone tinhamos quê ir lá em baixo. Não foi o caso. Com elevador pelo menos.
