"This was a magical place to stay. We were lucky that Lucy the owner was there during our stay. What her and her late husband have created (and she is still creating) on this 80 acre piece of land is nothing short of amazing. Lucy was full of local knowledge and history. She was extremely generous with her time for her guests as well as delightful to speak to. She is properly hands on too with the development and upkeep of this Estate. Stunning scenery, including tea plantations in the far distance, a waterfall that you can walk/climb to and plenty of nature to soak up. The staff were lovely & helpful. Our accommodation was beautiful and spacious. All in all a sanctuary to chill and relax at but with lots of places to see and visit that aren’t too far away should you wish to explore."

"We had an amazing stay at this hotel. For us the highlight was the exceptional service we got, unlike nowhere else, with extreme attention to any smallest request. The place is stunning with great rooms which are very clean, amazing views and infinity pool. Food is pricey for Sri Lanka but is really good. Only drawbacks are the location which requires a 20 min tuktuk to Haputale town, and inside our room the toilet/shower area and bedroom area were divided by a wall which doesn't go all the way to the ceiling which we found awkward."

We highly recommend this hotel. ."

I could see many beautiful birds from my room balcony. The owner is very kind and welcoming. The meals were fantastic, and I had the chance to try traditional Sri Lankan food. "I had a very unpleasant experience at the restaurant. First, I found hair in the food, as in the photo,and when I reported it, the staff did nothing — no apology or solution was offered. On top of that, a waiter opened my car door to say thank you but,without knocking and then slammed it shut, which was completely inappropriate and disrespectful. This shows a serious lack of hygiene, professionalism, and first day. i requested just fried veg and rice for the breakfast cuz i cant eat gluten and dairy.But even though my room is breakfast included,when i check out they said it was chargable.They didn't inform me while i order. For the first night no water bottle in the room.The shower head is terrible and hot water is not working.i have to wait for the breakfast more than 30 mins on the first day,Even though the room is nice, i cannot recommend for this place."
