"If you are looking for a quieter place near Bansko, Ruskovets is a very good option. It is located in Dobrinishte, surrounded by nature and fresh mountain air. We really enjoyed the location – close enough to Bansko, but without the noise and crowds. There are also great opportunities for hiking in the Pirin Mountains. The apartment was large and comfortable, more like a small home than a hotel room. The view from the balcony was beautiful. The SPA with mineral water is a big plus, especially after a day outside. A very good choice for people who prefer relax and nature over busy resorts."

"Overall a really good experience. If you come here expecting the Ritz then you will be disappointed but we found the hotel to be excellent value for money. The rooms are spacious, clean and everything was working well. The beds are comfortable and bedding and towels were changed everyday. The hotel has a nice swimming pool, sauna and steam room which was a nice benefit after a long day skiing. We stayed half board and found both the breakfast and dinners to be good quality home cooked food, with a nice selection of meats, vegetables, salads and desert. Again if you are expecting a high end restaurant meal then you will be disappointed but it was exactly what we were looking for. Overall for the money we paid I couldn’t fault it and would hapilly return."

"Trinity is in a great position on the edge of the old town, Pirin St. is just around the corner and all the best restaurants are an easy walk in the evenings. This is the third time we have stayed in Trinity and we really like the place. The pool is huge and there's an outside sun deck. The room was huge with a great view over the town from its three windows, it included tables, a settee and a fridge which was great. Kettle supplied on request by the staff who were very helpful. We were bed and breakfast only and the breakfasts varied between buffet and individual because sometimes we were the only guests over the nine days. In summary this is an excellent value for a stay if you want a prime location, a nice room and a quiet night's sleep in the old town."

"We spend 10 days in this hotel for Christmas and New year 2022. The hotel is nice with different size apartments. We had 1 bedroom apartment which was equipped with everything necessary for our stay. There was a fire place as well which added to the apartment charm. The spa center was nice with good swimming pool, jacuzzi and sauna, also with fitness center. We were using it regularly and was very convenient. The hotel is very close to the ski slopes, which made the experience for skiers very easy and practical. The personnel were great. They were very kind, trying to satisfy all our requirements. For example, they provided additional heating radiators for the colder days. The lift got broken one of the days and they immediately offered us another 1-bedroom apartment on the ground floor as we had an elderly person with us. The other apartment had also washing machine, which proved to be very handy during our stay. For the New Year’s Eve, the hosts have prepared nice musical program and New year’s menu with large choice. We were delighted with the great festive atmosphere, the music and the dancing. The hosts came to greet each one of us personally and especially payed kind attention to our gradma as per our old Bulgarian traditions. Overall, we spent really fabulous time and will come back in this hotel again next time we are in Bansko."

"This shouldn’t be a 4* hotel ,we are staying as a family of 7 people in just at the time of writing this review in all inclusive basis,apparently the all inclusive works only in between the hours when the kitchen works,as an example 7-10.30am breakfast or 18.30pm-21.00pm diner,you get the cheapest stuff and you have to pay for a Coca Cola or a mineral water for an example,it’s a joke of a an all inclusive,the food is fine,the alcohol is the cheapest possible for a all inclusive(you have no choice),the night bar close down at 11pm and the night shift reception composed of old farts it’s clearly not to be there, rude old people for a 4* hotel ,not to forget,don’t ever buy a massage,the massages are done by an Ukrainian lady who clearly doesn’t know what a massage means and tries to put her fingers up in your ass,location talking it’s great and all in all this is 3* hotel"

"A very good hotel. We have been staying at this hotel since 2017. Excellent location — the ski slope ends right at the hotel. Good and varied breakfast and dinner. Spacious rooms. A nice spa area. Good service and attentive staff. The hotel has been operating for many years, but every year something is renovated and everything is kept in excellent condition."

"Absolutely wonderful stay. The kindness of the hosts made it feel like home from home, without the squabbling children or yapping dogs! The hotel was spotless, comfy and incredibly well priced. No hesitation in recommending it, just not when I’m staying, so I can get a room! They have created a warm, relaxed bar area, which is perfect for post ski, pre dinner drinks and, of course, a night cap. This was my third and best stay yet. Will be back next year, if only to drink the fabulous wine Marin gave me, that I had to leave behind the bar. Superb people, lovely hotel and great town."

"Unfortunately, I DO NOT recommend this accommodation. Booked a cheap holiday to Bansko, Unfortunately the room was unclean and smelt. We deep cleaned the apartment day 1 which didn't reduce the smell. Not well equipt, hot water ran out, no hair dryer and outdated furniture. Double room was 2 singles pushed together. Spa was due to be included but was quoted $10 lev. Owners smoking in the restaurant. Spent as little time as possible in this accommodation. Which is unfortunate due to the cold weather."

"I booked this hotel on Priceline where it advertises Free Airport Shuttle. I contacted the hotel to arrange the transfer and their response was "You must be joking if you expect free airport shuttle Come on " Whilst I wouldn't expect such an unprofessional response, more concerning, it is illegal to falsely advertise a service as part of the deal and to refuse to provide it. At the moment they are refusing to provide a refund. The screen shot of the false advertising is shown below."

Evelina Palace Hotel

"We spent a week at the Evelina at a quiet time of the Ski season. Our room was good and clean. Beds were comfy and the bathroom had all we needed. Breakfast was always a high standard and the cook even came in an hour early the day we were leaving because of our bus time. All the staff were welcoming and very helpful. The shuttle bus service worked very well. The pool was a really good size and the sauna got to a decent temperature in about 15 mins."
