PPengguna TetamuEnjoyed staying here with my parents for our trip because the facilities are all new and it is located in a quiet corner despite still being close to the major attractions in Datong Ancient City. The owner was very friendly and even gave recommendations on where to visit and what to eat in Datong Ancient City, which I really appreciate. The breakfast was 刀削面 which was good too :)

The breakfast alone deserves mention: it felt closer to fine dining - carefully prepared dishes, beautiful presentation, and real attention to flavor.
The staff made everything easy despite the language barrier. They were patient, creative, and genuinely warm - you could see they wanted guests to feel comfortable, and it worked.
I had a surprisingly soulful time here. Something about the atmosphere, the care from the team, and the calm pace made my stay memorable.
Of all the hotels I experienced in China, this is the one I will remember as the best!

PPengguna TetamuWe stayed here during our trip to Datong and had a very pleasant experience. The hotel is very clean, despite spotting a few small cockroaches (probably due to the recent rain). The staff is always kind and helpful, ready to assist with any request. The location is perfect for exploring the city, and the services provided are excellent — including a surprisingly good espresso coffee!
Highly recommended for those looking for comfort, friendly service, and a strategic location.

AAnnie PBPI had an amazing stay at Yunzhong Traditional Courtyard in Datong! This hidden gem offers a traditional Chinese courtyard experience with a cozy and authentic vibe. The location is ideal—just a short walk from Huayan Temple and Nine Dragon Wall. The rooms were immaculately clean, making it easy to relax, especially after staying at a larger hotel that wasn’t as spotless. The bathroom amenities were incredible—featuring a wooden comb, two electric toothbrushes, Sensodyne toothpaste, a high-quality nail clipping set, a shoehorn, Listerine, and lingerie soap, all beautifully packed in an embroidered red pouch, free of charge. Breakfast was delicious, with a carefully prepared set menu. The thousand-year congee was unbelievably good! The hotel even has a small exhibition room, adding to its charm. There's no complaint on anything here. It's all perfect to me! Overall, Yunzhong Traditional Courtyard is a fantastic blend of tradition, comfort, and thoughtful hospitality—highly recommend it!

PPengguna Tetamu這家古城內的民宿驚艷到我了。在熱鬧的古城街巷中，一個非常有當地特色的院子，房間佈局合理，裝修風格古樸，洗手間非常乾淨。每一個小細節都挺用心的，進民宿的大門需要按門鈴，跨進門檻，就從喧鬧走進了安靜。服務很貼心，每晚都準備泡腳桶和晚安甜湯，早餐品種不多，但有特色，有刀削麪或者羊雜粉等當地特色的主食，用餐環境也很不錯。看到院子裏的茶桌，讓人有約上三五老友前來聚會的沖動，夏天來應該很享受。工作人員很貼心，管家莉莉的服務反應很快。這次春節，忙着打卡大同的景點，下次要安排古城休閑遊。

PPengguna TetamuBeautiful new hotel. Very friendly staff who offered two gifts to every room during the national holiday. Room felt spacious and luxurious and was sunny and mostly quiet during a very busy holiday period. Hotel restaurant was also delicious with good service. We ate there twice. We also had breakfast everyday of our stay. Very nice quality including lots of local ingredients and choices was fantastic! The hotel is so conveniently located in the ancient city. Walking distance to a really nice cafe with great coffee, lots of restaurants and all the main attractions including pop up laneway markets selling ancient treasures. Honestly, it’s a fantastic hotel and felt worth the price. Would definitely stay again!

The service was impeccable, always helpful and friendly and anticipating our needs.
The room was very comfortable and beautifully decorated.
Highly recommend the nearby restaurant: we ate there twice, excellent.
