PPengguna TetamuI can’t stop raving about this inn. It is a B&B style three stories tall inn located inside the Datong Ancient City. Complimentary shuttle service between the airport or railway station made it really convenient for out of town travelers. The guest room was clean and equipped with modern facilities like automatic toilets, coded entry, projection screens, etc. The inn is located near the north gate of the city amongst other accommodations. Within minutes of walking is access to the top of the city wall where bike rental is available to ride along the wall. The inn is very quiet at night. The inn is family operated and everyone was very hospitable. What sets this inn apart from other accommodations in the area is their dedication to service. The owner knew I was a tourist and new to the area, she offered to pick me up if I got lost wandering the ancient city. The breakfast came with my reservation. When the owner found out I had to depart before breakfast serving hours, she went above and beyond to prepare food and served me 30 minutes ahead of schedule. The food tasted amazing and came with abundant varieties and huge portions. It was definitely not part of the service to drop off at another venue, but the owner took me to my next accommodation 2km away. I truly appreciate everything this inn and its staff has done for me. I am so glad to have chosen to stay this beautiful little inn on my first night in Datong. I will definitely stay here again without a doubt on my next visit.

PPengguna Tetamu為了錯峯出遊，特意在五一假期的前一週週末帶着孩子們來感受大同，隨行有一衹小狗，這家民宿寵物十分友好，老闆一家也非常親切，誇我的狗狗可愛。民宿位於古城內，環境古色古香隨處可見美景，旁邊還有咖啡店。對了，民宿的早餐刀削麪很好吃。民宿位置優越，距離華嚴寺開車78分鐘，停車也比較方便。我定的是二樓的南畝家庭房，旁邊還有一個公共區域小花園可以休息打發時間。民宿離幾家十分有名的飯店位置都很近，到的第一天晚上老闆推薦的鳳臨閣味道很錯，我這次的旅行非常愉快！

PPengguna TetamuThe entire experience is really fantastic. For foreigners coming to China, I would recommend stopping by Datong and staying in this guesthouse. The owner is extremely friendly, providing pick up and drop off service for my family with elderly parents. There is no need to worry about the language barrier as she does her best to make the experience as comfortably as she can. She also sent us to a nearby famous hotpot restaurant. Rose tea and fruits are served every night and her 刀削面 for breakfast is the best I had of all the noodles I ate in China. It’s a very homely feel and I would want to go back again. The bed is very comfortable, with Dyson hair dryer and warm water works well. There is a bidet and elevator in the guesthouse. Wonderful experience and ps: this is not a paid review 😆

LLylis Wijaya NgAs a hotel, I was quite impressed with the neatness, spaciousness, and comfort of the hotel. Unfortunately, the smart toilet is not like the original smart toilet, a smart toilet that can only flush and warm? No bidet and others? I think it should be written as a regular toilet. Then the female staff at the front office preferred to talk to my friends or my wife who can speak Mandarin? Wow, that's a big mistake because even though I tried to communicate with them, they ignored me 😁... Sorry, I will give a score where I, as the person who booked the whole thing, based on my own personal experience 😊

*The place is close to the scenic spot (few minutes by car).
*The breakfast is not too bad. Few choices but it will fill you up.No drinks (juice or coffee).
*The accomodation was nice to drop and pick us up at the scenic area.They dropped us off to the bus station going to Datong city.
*Problem was the bad odour coming from the toilet. We think it’s from the drainage. We can’t even open the door for few minutes for air to come in because it is freezing. It’s negative degrees.
*The room was nice and comfortable. I can’t find photos or video of the interior. The size of the room is perfect. It has a long bench.Table with 1 small chair.Tv, closet, slippers,toothbrush, hair dryer,kettle and 2 bottle of water.

KKizzaI had a great one night stay at the Hauting Hotel. It’s a large, modern hotel conveniently located in a building attached to a big shopping centre, which made it easy to grab food or essentials. The rooms were clean, spacious, and comfortable, with individual heating and cooling and electric opening and closing window dressings.
The shower had excellent water temperature and pressure, and the bathroom was well-stocked with quality toiletries including shampoo, body wash, toothbrush, and toothpaste. A great bonus was the free laundry facilities. It has a gym also but I didn’t try that.
Breakfast featured a nice spread of Asian cuisine, and the staff were exceptionally friendly and helpful throughout my stay. Overall, a great experience and excellent value for money. Would definitely recommend it to others visiting Datong.

NNicolas ScholtenAll members of the staff were very kind and attentionate. The room was nice, even without a window: probably the best sleep we had in a while ! My only issue would be that we were across from the breakfast room so it was a bit noisy as early as 7.30: you can probably ask to change room if it’s your case. But apart from that I highly recommend. It’s a bit out of the nice streets in the old city, but therefore very calm. Good value for money 👍🏻
