There’s something beautiful in the way it’s built. The hostel is located on a terrace with rooms around the perimeter. They set up a big screen in the evening and broadcast movies😍 The room was spacious with enough of fresh air. The bedclothes might have been of better quality, though, but it was still comfy

very friendly and helpful staffs. they will ask for adding friend on Wechat which they could provide very useful tips during your stay in a hotel and travel advice around datong. you can ask for exchange small banknote for hopping on a local bus which is troublesome for foreigner that doesn't have chinese phone number to register for virtual bus card （易通卡）on alipay or wechat unlike in big city eg. Shanghai, Guangzhou that can use passport no. to register. It would be nice if they provide some bathmat to rub wet feet after using the bathroom. The hotel is located near the bell tower which is near Huayan temple and Dai wang mansion.

The hotel is in a commercial building where many tenants have moved out. It feels deserted. Except for its neighbour Han Ting hotel and the minimart beside, there does not seem to have any activity. The staff are friendly enough. There is no public toilet for the hotel guests. Guests could only use the toilets in their hotel rooms or use the public toilet on the first floor which is disgustingly dirty. It is a hassle for guests whose flight or train is in the evening after checking out in the daytime. I had to use another hotel's toilet in the evening. The hotel room's shower curtains have frayed at the edge, are a little mouldy and need to be replaced. I suspect that as it is a budget hotel, the management don't care. But the room and its toilet are clean. On food, the hotel is small so they work with an eatery outside to provide breakfast if you have breakfast included in your stay. The breakfast options are limited so it is better to go out and buy breakfast. To my surprise, there are no breakfast eateries nearby! One has to walk until the cross junction where one sees the Datong Railway Station before there are some eateries. Or, one can walk in the direction towards the Datong Ancient City and along the way, there are some restaurants and eateries. EatWheat 东方削面 is authentic in its local flavour. The hotel location is near the Datong Ancient City. If you are up for a bit of walk, it is possible to walk there. If there is an emergency, please go to 三医院 The Third Hospital which is the nearest public hospital with all facilities available. The rest of the hospitals nearby may not be fully equipped.

I enjoyed my stay at this hotel. There is quite a bit to see around Lingqiu, and I should have stayed one extra night or two. Miss Liu (刘小姐), the front receptionist, was extremely helpful, even going all the way to accompany me to the bus stop to catch the bus heading to the Pingxingguan Battle site. Miss Liu also assisted with booking a cab for my visit to the Jueshan Pagoda. This famous Pagoda was founded before England was established by William the Conqueror (if I am wrong, then pardon me, but the Pagoda was built sometime before 1077 A.D. during the Northern Wei Dynasty). Miss Liu also directed me to the gravesite of King Wu of the Northern Wei Dynasty which is right in downtown Lingqiu. There are numerous restaurants within walking distance of this hotel. One restaurant, next door to the right of the hotel, serves a wondering braised fish; the other a few doors away, sells delicious meat pies. My room was professionally cleaned and serviced daily. The hotel even allows me to doze off on the reception floor sofa to await my night train to Beijing. I will return to this hotel if I return to Lingqiu.

Hotel qui est neuf ( protection de l ecran de TV non retiré ) placard qui ne sont pas encore aménagé.... On accède à l hotel lorsque l on arriveen voiture par le parking au 2ème sous sol. La communication avec le staff est tnexcellente sur trip.com avant l arrivée pour avoir des renseignements. Le chambres que l on a choisi étaient au sous-sol mais le couloir est éclairé par la lumière du jour par des fenêtres au toit. Les propriétaires ne parlent pas anglais mais avec un logiciel de traduction on se comprend. A chaque souci meme à minuit ils ont été réactif et resolu le problème. Les douches sont exiguë soit la cabine douche qui n est pas carrè complètement ou dans l autre chambre c'est l espace entre la cabine de douche et le lavavzbo qui est restreint. Le lenage est fait tous les jours avec fourniture de bouteille d eau. Par contre le papier toilette est fourni en très petite quantité mais si vous en demandez à la reception ils vous en fournissent mais c est toujours embetant de devoir aller demander alors que de base il pourrait etre mis en quantité normale on a un seul rouleau qui ne paraît pas complètement rempli que vous zyez une chambre de trois ou deux perr Les prises de courant ne permettent pas de brancher les prises francaise comme c est le cas à shangai et beijing Il n y a pas la possibilité de faire laver son linge salle L emplacement est bien dans un nouveau quartier qui est encore en condtruction. L allée pour y aller de nuit est belle avec les devantures des différentes maisons L hotel organise un taxi entre la gare et l hotel myrnnant finance pour les chzmbres au sous sol. Les chambres sont bien équipée il ne rest plus que suelques fintions comme des joints en salle bain

Extremely happy with my stay here! Room is very spacious and clean, and I was within walking distance to most of the attractions and restaurants. The staff here are very friendly and they always went out of their way to make my experience in Datong memorable! I'm especially grateful because the manager showed me how to order food from local restaurants using my phone and get it delivered straight to my room! 10/10!!

First Hostel in China, maybe my standards are too high after a few good hostel experiences in other countries. For the price and location it is a good choice. Location wise there isn’t much to eat close to the hostel so I had to get food delivery. My biggest issue might be the toilets and sound insulation. The toilets are standard chinese squat toilets, for a foreigner its a bit rough but adaptable. The sound insulation is nonexistent and some guests were loud, snoring and talking. The “capsules” are closed off with a thin curtain that provides visual privacy and the rooms are also closed with a similar curtain, not much noise proof. Personally didn’t sleep that well, the guy next to me was snoring like a chainsaw. The staff was helpful with my bus tickets to Xuankongsi and Wutaishan. I enjoy the smell of incense burning inside and the lounge space is quite spacious with buyable snacks and drink and free water. Overall not my favorite experience but everything worked out fine. For the price it is not bad.

酒店在古城內，靠路不遠，離方便又安靜，衹是離景點稍遠點。酒店是個四合院，古樸精緻，幾個本地中年人經營，我們定的是閣樓房，相當於loft，孩子很喜歡，還有一個衣帽間，但是衞生間不大有點壓抑，而且淋浴頭出水不大且不算通暢，熱水出的也不快，馬桶縫隙有點臟，另外水龍頭已經損壞該維修了。早餐非常一般，不是酒店可以理解。
