"Saya tidur dalam bilik dengan kang besar yang sangat unik. Tetapi hotel itu mempunyai sejarah yang panjang, dan ia dikatakan sebagai tempat Zhaojun menginap. Dan sarapan paginya sangat enak, mi sup kambing sedap, bos sangat bersemangat, dan sentiasa ada hirisan tembikai, sup plum masam dan makanan ringan lain di atas meja di lobi untuk dimakan tetamu. Lebih-lebih lagi, lokasi hotel ini sangat baik. Ia terletak di bandar purba dan mudah untuk pergi ke mana-mana. Kedai mi di Jalan Xijin terletak di tingkat bawah, tidak jauh dari Kuil Huayan bertentangan, dan berdekatan dengan tarikan lain di bandar purba itu. Secara keseluruhannya hotel yang sangat bagus. Berbaloi untuk tinggal."

"Our family of four spent one night in Datong to break our week in Beijing, and this hotel was such a breath of fresh air from our more ”utilitarian” hotel in the capital. We stayed in the Lushun room. It was modern, clean, airy, and had good room temperature control despite being the shoulder season. Highly recommended if staying there with kids, as they can have their own separate area and parents can truly relax. We didn't try breakfast, though, as it's a 10-minute walk away, and we just wanted to rest in the morning. We just ordered food in."

"The staff here are incredibly helpful. Their customer service has been 2nd to none. I will say, however, that staying closer to the ancient city may be a better tourist experience. It certainly possible to walk to the ancient city, however there are hotels closer to that general area. If I’m being honest, I would not stay here again purely because of its location. The only reason why I would recommend this hotel is because of the customer service."

"This hotel is a real value for money. It has excellent location, modern room amenities. Staff is friendly and helpful. Breakfast has a wide range of varieties. The hotel has a restaurant called Fenglingge which serves great local cuisine with reasonable price. For hotel guest, there is a RMB60 restaurant voucher given to offset the restaurant bill at Fenglingge. One of the staff at Fenglingge, Liu Guangzhen 刘光珍 is very attentive and helpful and provides great service."

"One of the best hotels we’ve ever stayed at in China! We honestly didn’t expect to be this impressed. From the moment we arrived, everything was absolutely perfect. The hotel itself is incredibly beautiful and atmospheric. Every corner is thoughtfully designed, making it feel like you’re staying in a boutique museum rather than a hotel. The entire property is incredibly aesthetic, and every part of it is a perfect spot for beautiful photos. We stayed in a stunning two-level room, which completely exceeded our expectations. It was spacious, stylish, exceptionally comfortable, and spotlessly clean. Every little detail had been carefully considered. The location couldn’t be better—right in the heart of Datong Ancient Town. We could walk everywhere, with all the main attractions, restaurants, and beautiful streets just a few minutes away. The staff were some of the friendliest we’ve ever met. Everyone was genuinely welcoming, kind, and always happy to help, making us feel at home from the very first moment. Breakfast was also excellent. Instead of a buffet, a freshly prepared traditional Chinese breakfast was served each morning. It was delicious, beautifully presented, and the perfect start to the day. One of the nicest surprises was that guests can borrow traditional Chinese costumes free of charge for a photo shoot around the hotel. Unfortunately, we didn’t have enough free time to try it ourselves, but it’s such a wonderful idea and gives us another reason to come back. We travel a lot and have stayed in countless hotels around the world, so it’s actually very difficult to surprise us. But this hotel genuinely did. If it were possible to give 100 stars instead of 5, we absolutely would. Even if we really wanted to find something to complain about, we honestly couldn’t. Everything was simply perfect. Without any doubt, this is one of the best hotel experiences we’ve ever had. If we ever return to Datong, we won’t even consider staying anywhere else. We will definitely come back. Highly, highly recommended!"

"酒店在古城裡，位置好，去東南夷、代王府步行一會就到。房間很新，有設計感，細節上可見出匠心，還有一個漂亮的小院，晚上燈光尤其漂亮。整體乾淨衞生，床品舒適，用品都很有品質，晚上安靜，白天大同特種兵一日遊，晚上睡了個好覺。店主很熱情，一到酒店就送了一些小特產，感覺很温馨。原本想再續住一晚，遺憾沒房了。"

"We picked this hotel because it was very near the north and east gate of the ancient city wall. It is also near the lovely garden outside the old city along the moat. Quiet and walkable to the hustling and bustling ancient city inside the wall. Thanks to the hotel we were upgraded to a executive room on the 27th floor facing the ancient city. We got to enjoy sunset, sunrise and nightlights on the ancient city from our bed!Overall the hotel was dated but has all the modern comforts. From the hotel location it was also easy to travel to the Yungang Grottoes and the Hanging Temple, 2 must see attractions after exploring the reconstructed ancient city of Datong."

"服務: 老闆很熱情，我們入住的時候趕上下雨了，老闆主動聯繫説可以來接我們，還幫我們拿送錯的外賣，後來怕我們晚上去逛不方便，借了電動車給我們，返程的時候幫我們帶路到附近方便打車的地方。非常周到了。\n\n位置: 民宿在魁星樓東邊一點（好像是吧）早飯的餐廳在魁星樓西邊一點，屬於整個古城的北半邊，離各種重要景點和商業區大概一公里，安靜又方便，可以騎車打車，不着急的話可以去北邊一百米的路邊坐景區大巴，一塊錢，重要景點都能到。晚上在房間陽台上或是一樓小院裏，吹個小風喝個飲料逗個小鳥看看星星，真是太愜意了。\n\n設施: 有地下停車場電梯直通，民宿不大，隔音挺好。房間帶陽台！房間內整體比較新，比較齊全，有空氣凈化器，有浴缸，吹風機是徠芬的挺好用，陽台上一桌四椅，房間和圖片所見一致。\n\n早餐: 早餐到十一點，這時間對年輕人真是太友好了，早餐是套餐形式的，配菜基本一致，主餐可選粥麪餛飩，味道不錯，擺盤還挺好看。\n\n總之，非常推薦！"

"This hotel is very large and clean. The rooms were very spacious. The only thing is that the heat is 'on' even if you lower the temperature to its lowest setting. Thankfully there was a window to open even though it was -6° outside. The buffet was great with lots of selections. The one & only restaurant for dinner was great. Their large Asian menu provided pictures of all the dishes. The staff in the restaurant was very friendly & helpful. The pool was nice and clean. There was even a lifeguard on duty. The hot tubs were separate in the men's & ladies' change rooms. The only issue was that the front desk staff was very limited with English and there were no concierge services. Other than that we enjoyed our stay at this hotel."

"The hotel was well located. The room exactly like it was described online. We reserved two rooms without windows for one day it was cost efficient! Unfortunately I could not reserve directly 4 breakfast online only two (one per room), we have to pay directly at breakfast for the two others one. We stop at Datong to visited one of UNESCO site and see the all Datong city. We thought more foreigners will visit this beautiful small city. No one speaks English (and that’s ok) but for a 4 stars hotel the front desk lady looks a bit lost with the check in procedure for foreigners (and I work in a 5 stars hotel in beijing so I know the procedure as a French working in China). Also, the isolation is bad, the front desk already inform us upon check in but we did not thought we will heard even the other room bathrooms flush. Thank you for this night your hotel is beautiful"
