"On arrival it felt a bit dated. Furniture is vintage, but once you settle in it adds to the charm. Welcome was great and friendly. Breakfast was excellent. Room had a great balcony (4th floor). Bathroom very clean, but shower was small. TV was badly positioned and limited programs due to weak signal. No English news channel. Extremely convenient for station and city sites. I would stay there again."

I booked a Premium room specifically because the listing photos showed blue-sky views and a golden dome. However, upon arrival I was assigned a room on the first floor facing a dark, rundown alley—nothing like the images. The bathroom also didn’t match the photos: it was much smaller, with virtually no counter space.
When I raised this with the hotel, I was told I hadn’t booked a “Premium room with view.” At the time of booking, my only options were: a cheaper “Deluxe,” a more expensive “Premium,” and a “Suite.” As a guest, I relied on the photos shown for the Premium category, which all featured a view. The mismatch felt misleading.
I asked about changing rooms, but was told the hotel was fully booked and that they had already given me a “larger” room of 20 m². The stated size range for the Premium room is 18–23 m², so this didn’t resolve the core issue—the lack of the view shown in the photos. After persistent requests, I was offered a second-floor room in another building without an elevator. That room had a larger bathroom but a smaller bedroom, and the window opened directly onto exhaust vents. It wasn’t a viable alternative.
Overall, this was a disappointing experience for a five-star property. While staff were polite in manner, the room assignment and photo discrepancy felt misleading, and there was no practical solution offered despite the hotel being aware of the issue. To add to the frustration, I later noticed my luggage had been dented.
In summary: the Premium room I received did not match the advertised images—especially the view and bathroom—and the lack of clear labeling (e.g., “with view” vs. “no view”) led to unmet expectations. I hope the hotel updates its listings to accurately reflect room types and views so future guests can book with confidence.

The only time you feel you are welcome was you booked tours through them. The breakfast room is small and in the basement. There is no view throughout the whole hotel.

AalinatravellingI traveled as a solo female traveler, and unfortunately, only one out of three nights was peaceful. I want to warn others about several management and safety issues I encountered here.
On Trip.com, only mixed dorms were available.The platform lists two types of 6-bed dorms: one explicitly labeled 'Mixed Gender' (which I booked) and another generic '6-Bed Dormitory Room' without any gender indication. Since there was no 'Female-only' option, I assumed these were essentially the same thing. I ended up alone in a room with three men, which felt quite unsafe and intimidating. My sleep was constantly interrupted by loud neighbors and the person in the bunk below me shaking the bed all night
When I requested a move to a female dorm or a more balanced mixed room the next morning, the staff was unhelpful. They claimed they couldn't move me because I hadn't booked through their website, even though female beds were available!! They initially demanded I pay the full price again for the next two nights.
After contacting Trip.com support, the hostel still refused to cooperate. Eventually, a more reasonable receptionist helped resolve the issue peacefully.
On my last night, a large group of school students arrived. They were incredibly loud, and it took over an hour after ”quiet hours” began for teachers and staff to finally calm them down. Be aware of this.
Cleanliness: Rooms are relatively clean.
Self-Service: You must make your own bed, which is very difficult if you are assigned a top bunk.
Extra Costs: Towels are not included and cost 1.9€.
Payment: They are strictly card-only.
Pros: There is free hot water at reception, a luggage room, and the location is conveniently close to the Campo di Marte station.
If you are a solo female traveler, be aware that management might prioritize profit over your safety and comfort :)

PPengguna Tetamuthe hotel is rather old, you will have to carry your luggage up a flight of stairs before even reaching the hotel lobby. the check in process is slow as the counter guy will be busy talking away with his colleague and taking his time while doing your check in (it was the same for every guests)
the shower head is very heavy and falls off easily and the towels were dirty. one good thing is that hotel slippers were provided but no new ones when they clean the room. also do note that they do not provide a “do not disturb” sign and will clean your room everyday, they will bang on your door to check if you are still in the room.
i was assigned on the first floor and they start cleaning very early in the morning which is very noisy and disruptive, the cleaners will just be talking away.
the room has very thin walls and i can literally hear water gushing whenever the person in the room beside flushes. it is also noisy due to the vehicles since it is near the main road.

MMb36We had a wonderful stay at c-hotels Joy Firenze - the location is ideal for exploring Florence. It’s only a few minutes’ walk from Santa Maria Novella train station, which made both arrival and departure incredibly easy, and most major sights are within walking distance. 
The staff were genuinely friendly and helpful throughout our stay. They checked in with us regularly to make sure everything was going well. Breakfast every morning was great, and a huge shout-out to Jade, whose kindness and willingness to go above and beyond made our mornings even better! 
Our room was spotless and smelled amazing - honestly one of the best hotel room scents we’ve experienced, I’d happily use whatever they’re using at home!
Overall, this was a fantastic base for our Florence trip. We’d definitely recommend it to anyone visiting the city - a perfect mix of location, service, comfort, and value. 10/10 from us!

MMaria MDAmazing stay. 10 min drive to a parking in the City Center in Florence. Kids loved it, they were tired of hotels, this is a tiny house, lots of families around, camper vans, playground, shop, pool, laundry.
The tiny house is super clean, spotless, probably brand new. Very efficient, well organised. We took a premium one, it is already not large for a family. Spotless linen and towels, all duvets were sealed in a bag, looks dry cleaned, fresh. All tableware, cooking ware and cutlery provided. Air conditioner in both rooms, mosquito nets, proper water pressure and hot water.
Very nice attentive staff. We checking late in the evening, which was a plus for us, we saw a checking queue in the morning it looked very long.

PPengguna TetamuA quiet neighbourhood not far from the train station. Room spacious and clean, but pity that no tea/coffee making facility inside. Breakfast very good and not expensive. Dennis at the front desk very nice and friendly, he gave advice and answered my various questions about sightseeing and travel in Firenze, thank you very much. Very nice view of Firenze at terrace and breakfast room on 4th floor, and guess thus the name Hotel Panorama.

PPengguna TetamuExcelente ubicación, excelente, trato y servicio por todo el personal, especialmente por el recepcionista que está por las mañanas y que sabe hablar español. Su amabilidad y su atención: excepcional, el que tenga piscina, aunque sea pequeñita, para darse un chapuzón sobre todo en verano, con el calor que hace, es un punto importante a tener en cuenta, y aunque he leído que no avisan de que no tiene ascensor y que muchos casos, como a nosotros, te mandan al segundo piso con muchos escalones, es cierto, pero también ellos te suben y te bajan las maletas.
Sin duda, repetiré en este Hotel en mi próximo viaje a Florencia .
