"Stay there for 3 nights. It’s a great option to stay in Naha, Okinawa. First, is the location, it’s only 3 minutes walk from Asahibashi station, 5 minutes walk to Bus terminal, and 20 minutes by train(metro) from airport. The second is the place itself. The room was exactly the same as advertise. It was clean, pretty fresh. The room had a microwave, a kettle, a fridge, and a washer/drier unit (plus laundry detergent). More like a mini studio, then a hotel room. Also, there is no everyday cleaning (maybe for additional fee). Only one of the staff spoke English, but they all try to do their best to communicate. Majority of information already translated to English. But for some items, for example, ac unit, washer/ driver, I used Google Translater (wasn’t convenient, but possible). The internet was good too, even stream Netflix without problem."

"很少寫點評，不論好壞，但是想要回饋一下職員的熱情服務。这家旅社絕對是我下次去沖繩的選擇。因為性價比真的很高。很適合獨自旅行的人。一進門以為是咖啡廳酒吧，但實際是合併，裡面有通往宿舍的通道。咖啡廳櫃台職員會幫忙辦理入住，會講日語英語國語都有，大概是3個人，因為我接觸到的。可能也不完全是職員。很熱情很真誠。住宿環境也可以，稍微有點小，住過很多次膠囊酒店了，對比起來性價比很高的。周邊是市場如果會煮飯的話更好了可以自己烹飪。好像有微波爐，其他有點忘記了。從機場過去搭乘結心電車到牧志站，再穿過集市步行一小段路就到了。全程睡得很好沒有帶什麼靜音設備也能睡到自然醒。洗漱台在房間外面出門就是了也很方便。"

SSamcheeThe location and the fact that the hotel was new and clean were definitely the standout points.
One area that could be improved is the parking process. I had to repeatedly keep and present the same parking slip multiple times just to park and retrieve the car. It felt unnecessarily cumbersome - ideally, there should only be a single verification at the car park lift, rather than additional checks at the driveway or again at reception during check-out.
In terms of amenities, the hotel is good overall, but it could be even better with the addition of a coin-operated laundry area. I may have been slightly spoiled by the hotel I stayed at earlier in Chatan, where each room came with its own washing machine and even included two packets of laundry detergent.

Due to the location and swimming pool, so I picked up Hyatt hotel instead of previous Collective Hotel and JAL. However, the experience is quite bad. When we drove the car and arrived at the hotel, the staff told us the car park was opposite side. Therefore, my husband dropped four luggages , my kid and I handled. My husband also drove to hotel parking area.
We found the staff coming with trolley, we expected him help us to put all luggage on the luggage trolley. However, he dun think he need to help us and just said parking is another opposite side. But,
My husband also left, it is meaningless to tell me again. Then, he used his trolley to help the other Japanese with two luggages only.
Only can say this hotel dun worth to have five stars. Service quality is quite bad.
On 10:30am 22 May, it was a raining day. We back to airport, and husband drove the car to hotel lobby. But it was heavy rain, so I wanna ask the lady in the entrance to borrow umbrella for few seconds , to deliver luggage to car, which may only have 3m distance. The lady refused and called me go back hotel to borrow. I cannot believe this is Hyatt hotel, and will not recommend people to book. Quite bad service on bell boy or front line service on entrance.

There were not that many washing machines, and it was difficult to use them because other guests would not come and collect their own laundry even after the machine had finished running. There was a sign saying that the neglected laundry would be collected after 10 minutes, but there weren't any staff keeping an eye on this anyway, so the warning sign wasn't helpful. Staff also seemed reluctant to provide more tea in the room even though they only have two tea bags every other day for a week-long stay. Even when asked, they would only initially offer one tea bag without asking if more were needed.

We stumbled upon Southwest Grand Hotel due to a last-minute flight change, and what a blessing in disguise it turned out to be! Our extra day in Okinawa became one of the most memorable parts of our trip—all thanks to this incredible hotel.
🛏️ Stylish & Photogenic Rooms
The room was modern, chic, and absolutely Instagram-worthy. I even turned it into a mini photo studio and captured some beautiful family portraits of my wife and our 3-month-old baby. My wife was over the moon with the results!
🍳 Breakfast That Delights Every Palate
The breakfast spread was phenomenal—offering both Western and Japanese options, all bursting with flavor. The cheese selection and homemade yogurt with honey were standouts. Don’t miss them!
📍 Prime Location
Just a minute’s walk from Kokusai-dori (国際通り), the hotel is perfectly located for last-minute shopping or grabbing essentials. Super convenient and central!

As the nearby streets settle into a peaceful hush and most restaurants wind down with only a handful of diners, the lobby restaurants at Southwest Grand Hotel remain buzzing with energy. The lively atmosphere, filled with cheerful faces and clinking glasses, speaks volumes about the quality and charm of the hotel’s dining experience.
💭 Still Dreaming About It
Overall, our experience at Southwest Grand Hotel was truly delightful. Even now—almost a month later—I can still recall every moment with vivid clarity. If it weren’t for the limited parking, I’d confidently call it Michelin-worthy! This hotel is an absolute hidden gem, and without a doubt, I’ll be staying here again on our next visit to Okinawa!

청결도 : 방 청소를 요청하면 기본적인 청소만 해줍니다. 쓰레기통이나 봉투에 넣어두지 않으면 치우지 않습니다.
서비스 : 좋습니다. 로비에 마실 게 준비되어있고, 2층에 캐리어 보관함이 있습니다.
시설 : 나쁘지 않습니다. 하지만 방은 조그만합니다. 캐리어랑 놓고 하면 움직임에 불편함이 있습니다.
주변 이용시설 : 바로 옆에 편의점과 식당이 있습니다. 호텔 뒤에는 유흥주점들과 술집들이 좀 있는 거 같습니다. 호객행위가 많습니다.
단점 : 저녁만 되면 폭주족들이 겁나 돌아다닙니다. 3박 4일 있었는데 매일 봤습니다. 주변에 유흥주점들이 많은지 삐끼들이 많습니다.

114.CanLocated very conveniently near Makishi Station, and at the west end of Kokusai Dori. Clean hotel with nice amenities. No gym though.
Overall we were ok with the stay here. But two episodes eroded the satisfaction over service standards:
1) Booked 2 rooms for a total of 5 pax, through Trip.com via the same booking on the same day.. however upon arrival, only one room was given the daily welcome drink coupon (Orion beer) while the other was not. When asked, they said it was a change in policy and not all rooms are given the welcome drink. From the reviews, we were already expecting welcome drinks for all. The uneven treatment between rooms made it worse. I feel the service staff did not handle it well.
May I suggest Trip.com work with the hotel to state explicitly which room types will / will not be offered this benefit, for clarity.
2) one of the service staff serving welcome drinks at the bar showed a black face when my family member made a request that was fulfilled the day before. The order was grudgingly fulfilled and the server just turned away after putting the drink on the table. That was unprofessional.
Hope the hotel can work on their comms and service standards.

The concierge, café, and laundry area are all located on the second floor, where you’ll also find a display space showcasing artwork and merchandise by local artists, adding a charming creative touch.
Our room was clean and cozy, though slightly compact. We had to rearrange some furniture to open our luggage comfortably. The balcony was a highlight, offering a refreshing sea view and enhancing the overall relaxing, breezy atmosphere of the hotel.
Breakfast was enjoyable with a decent variety of options, and the quality was satisfying.
While the immediate surroundings are relatively quiet, it’s within walking distance to restaurants, AEON mart, and the popular Kokusai Dori Street, making it a good base for exploring the area.

The hotel offers good value for money, with the hotel's onsen and breakfast buffet being the clear highlights.
Location is not super close to the Yui Rail station and there are many adult entertainment facilities behind the hotel - so keep that in mind if traveling with family. Walking to nearby convenience stores takes a few minutes, but the hotel has its own 24/7 store that is stocked with all the essentials
Check-in and check-out are done via self service terminals, which were quick and easy to use. But there are also staff members present who can assist and handle things like luggage storage.
Regarding the room, unfortunately there was lots of condensation building up on the AC unit - and with that unit being located right above the bed, occasionally drops of water would fall right onto the pillow and/or your head. Not sure what can be done about this, but I saw another review mentioning it and wanted to confirm that this is indeed one of the few unpleasant aspects of the room / the stay at this hotel.
