Hotel berhampiran Monasterio de San Jeronimo de la Murtra, Barcelona

The hotel is gorgeous. Beautiful roof terrace, pool and the view is amazing. The bar was great with comfy seats to take in the spectacular view. I almost don't want to tell anyone about this place. The rooms were high spec and we had our own TV. The service was great too

Me quedé 5 noches en el alojamiento y la verdad que fue todo muy agradable. Los chicos del staff todos con la mejor de las ondas siempre y disponibles para toda duda que tuve. Destacar el trabajo de Ceci, Diogo, Alan, Sofi y Geri. Las habitaciones muy comodas y los espacios comunes de lo mejor del Hostel. El unico punto a modo de ”queja”, es que mi objetivo en el Hostel era conocer gente, dentro de todo de mi edad y justo durante toda mi estadia hubo un viaje de niños de primaria y secundaria, que ocuparon todas las habitaciones del hotel.

The ambient is good but you need a decent service as well, especially regarding room and bathroom. I choose to pay more to have a bed in a shared 4 bedroom instead of 8. This what I found: no heating, cold room because the a/c wasn't working properly (daily temperature outside was 9° and 4° in the night), no linen to cover my body under the duvet (it's supposed somebody else used the duvet before me so it's not hygienic I cannot separate my body from the duvet with a linen), no automatic locker (you need a locket but they didn't inform you before when you reserve), the height available under the upper bed is not enough ample (I hit my head hard when I doubled my knees to access the locker under my bed. Same problem when you wake up, if you forget the height is not enough between the 2 beds you inevitably hit your head. Very unpleasant.), no personal bed light as normally available in all other hostel I visited. Bathroom and shower for men are separated, while for women are all together. Why, I wonder this difference? Why women always are treated better? It's not supposed we are equals? Well, I'm really unsatisfied and I suggest you, people, to avoid this hotel. Management is running it with the typical Catalan mentality: very greedy. They give poor services so they can have better profit. Not acceptable!!!

Very cool and funky hotel in a great area. Location: center city. Very convenient to many of the sites, metro, shopping (high end), hop on/ hop off bus, nice restaurants, etc Hotel overall: just COOL with a very laid back, fun vibe. Daily free yoga classes. Free walking tour. Amazing breakfast. Staff is very helpful and accommodating. No language issues. Decor is fabulous and eclectic. Excellent use of old and new. Elevators from the last century. Circular staircases surround the elevators. Yoga studio with colorful, comfortable pillows. Tile floors. Lots of shared/common areas including library, study, terrace (great sitting area for cards and a glass of wine), communal kitchen with fridges, micro, plates, glasses, flatware... The room: we got a double with ensuite bath. The room was TINY and dark. Had a bed and an open ”warerobe” with a rod and couple of shelves and that was it. One window with drapes looking out over a small, dark inner courtyard type square. Not even bedside tables. The bath was tiny and the shower floor was ceramic and treacherous when wet. No grab bars, so be had to be very careful. The room was quite off putting at first, but once you ”let it go”, it sort of fit with the experience. It made us socialize more and enjoy the common areas. Met a couple of interesting people... No TV -- anywhere, including common areas. At first it was strange, but we ended up enjoying the break from the noise -- it fits with the Casa vibe. Price/rate: very reasonable, @$100us per night plus tax.

스페인에서 묵었던 숙소 중에 제일 좋았습니다. 위치도 좋고 짐들어주시고 웰컴주 샴페인 맛있었고 수압 진짜 목욕탕인줄 너무 좋았어요. 깨끗하고 편안했어요. 밤에 잘 때 도로에 소리가 들려서 조금 시끄러웠던거 빼고 그래도 모두모두 대만족이요.

Absolutely everything you could want to explore Barcelona. Went for a weekend trip. Easy to travel to all tourist sites in Barcelona from the hotel. Receptionists were very friendly and polite. Very modern hotel in general and everything is up together. Buffet Breakfast was decent enough, food was of a good enough standard. Relatively quiet around the hotel but most likely as we went in December - which was a great time to go as it was just the right temperature for sightseeing. Still a couple of restaurant and a pub or two open nearby. Sleep quality was good with comfortable beds and minimal noise. Soft Drinks to buy in the hotel and tea+coffee were all a reasonable price. Nothing extraordinary but all basics were provided and it was very modern and well kept. Would visit again and recommend if going to Barcelona.

Experiencia lamentable. Llegamos a las 18:00h, se había ido la luz. Nos querían dejar esperando en la calle. No nos daban habitación, estuvimos esperando casi 3 horas. Las chicas de recepción muy antipáticas, de muy malas formas y haciendo gestos de desprecio en todo momento, nos trataron fatal y a los huéspedes que estaban esperando también. Habiendo realizado el pago online, nos querían volver a cobrar el importe. Incluimos el desayuno y es horrible. Café pésimo, poca variedad y la leche cortada. Habitaciones mal reformadas, el plato de ducha se hundía y la televisión con rayas negras y bloqueado el temporizador automático. Mal comunicado, no llegan los taxis de la zona. 0 recomiendable.

Please do not live in this hotel, it’s basically not in Barcelona, you have to take the public transportation up to 1 hour to get to Barcelona by transferring at least twice. The wi-fi is too unstable to even watch youtube video. Most importantly, some staff are NOT capable of their jobs. On the first day I came here, I called the reception and asked about the laundry fee, a Tall Thin old man told me and emphasized twice that the laundry fee is included in the room and said they would ask people to pick up my clothes. However, nobody came. When I called again, a middle-aged woman told me that I have to drop the clothes in the reception because they don’t have time for me now. As she said, I went down with my bag of clothes. However, an old man in the reception said I should not give them the clothes but to leave in my room. But they can ask people to drop the clothes in my room and then took them to the laundry. What a mess! When I picked up my laundry I was surprised that there was a long bill since the guy in reception clearly said the lauded was in the room fee. And when I went to the reception and asked, the girl with long blond hair confront with me and acted very condescending. To quote exactly what she said ‘No, you must misunderstood, you room even did not include the breakfast, it came with nothing, only the wi-fi. Laundry fee is not in the room, everyone knows!’ I explained patiently multiple times and asked her to maybe ask her college because I didn’t tell a lie but she rolled her eyes and literally said ‘I can’t do anything, if you don’t understand, you go ask my boss’ and pointed to the boss (an old man stand right besides her talking to another customer). Before I opened my mouth, this girl talked in Spanish to her ‘boss’ first and the old guy frowned. I was pretty sure she tell the truth. I didn’t say I don’t want to pay the laundry, but I have to check what I heard. The way these staff did their jobs and solve problems were one hundred percent unprofessional and annoying. I love traveling in Barcelona but these few people just made our impression on Spanish hotels go down.

Комфортно, чисто. Ресепшен интересен тем, что на входе сразу попадаешь в бар и не сразу понятно, где сидит администратор. Местоположение удобно для аэропорта, до центра уже далековато. В целом отель достойный
