Super friendly staff. Room is spotless with soft fluffy towels, comfy bed. High end Crabtree amenities in bathroom, Kerrigan coffee maker, mini fridge and microwave. We stayed in room 460 with lake view balcony. Could watch ducks and listen to Loons call. Highly recommend

Our goal was to go to the headwaters of the Mississippi River at Itasca State Park. We were pleased to see there was a Hampton Inn & Suites. The location is right on Lake Bemidji. Be sure to ask for a room with a lake view and you will not be disappointed with the sunset view. You are a short drive to the historic downtown. Only caution, if you order room service from the connected restaurant know they will automatically add a tip. Check your receipt to see what it is before you add an additional tip. Do be sure to tip your person that delivers your food. This is not a knock for The Hampton

Very friendly staff and the property along with our room were very clean. The hotel is close to restaurants, within walking distance, and shopping as well. Close to both the Middle school and High school if you are traveling for sports tourney’s. No pool, which kept it quiet- if you like quiet : ) Would definitely stay here again.

We checked in late on Friday. To listen to a party of young people. They appeared to underaged. They partied until 6:30am with the hotel staff doing nothing to stop the loud parting. At 6:30 we were awoken again to a fight between the party people. This happened several times during the night early morning to extremely loud disturbances. Several got scared and express their concern of getting in trouble for being underage and already in trouble with the law. One young man was left at the hotel. We heard him throwing items around. The vacuum outside his door first thing in the morning did not encourage him to exit the hotel. My husband encountered him in the hallway with a door slam. We expressed our concern and lack of the staff of handling this situation all night long in the morning. The staff was not very motivated to get this young man out of the hotel. We finally called the police. Once the police arrived the young man wouldn’t answer the door. Once he finally did was hostile to the police officer with vulgar language. I know we should not have had to pay for our stay as there was nothing remotely acceptable about this. The staffs in action from midnight to 10am was truly NOT acceptable. Not one apology, not one consideration to the quests that had to endure this and the lack of sleep. I don’t think it was our responsibility to deal with this problem!!!!! So far not one person from this hotel has contacted us about our stay after we spoke to the front desk several times during our short stay. I would not stay here!!!!!

I stayed here one night while in the area with my dogs. They were quite accommodating in providing me a ground floor room as close to the exit door as possible for ease with my dogs. The front desk clerk that checked me in was friendly and helpful. My room was clean, the bed was comfortable and the A/C worked great ! So glad to have found this hotel for future trips to Bemidji.
