"This is my fourth stay. It's enough to prove that the overall conditions here meet my preferences. This time, the tenth floor was under renovation, with equipment and materials taking up about half of the back parking lot. Fortunately, the security staff were diligent and helpful, providing accurate and efficient parking and vehicle dispatch guidance. Thank you so much! Turning right from the back gate to the school intersection and then left again, it's about 100 meters to the government square, a great place for an evening stroll, exercise, and sightseeing. Alternatively, continuing straight from the school intersection leads to a night market with snacks. It's about four kilometers from the Benxi Zoo and Botanical Garden, a ride on Didi (ride-hailing service) for under ten yuan. The peonies are in full bloom, definitely worth a visit. The Benxi Lake Industrial Heritage Site is also about five or six kilometers away, worth a visit as well. Therefore, the hotel's location is excellent, with a commercial area, administrative facilities, and scenic views. The construction didn't significantly affect the accommodation; the daytime noise wasn't too loud either, and they stopped after dinner. However, I noticed that the hotel has regressed in some details. For example, the breakfast used to include a large shrimp in the steamed egg custard, which added a lot of flavor. This time, there was no shrimp. It's clear that the restaurant's management philosophy, instead of striving for improvement, has actually downgraded what it already offered. It's likely outsourced or contracted out internally; the staff's quality and attitude are inferior to those in other departments. The business cards of restaurant staff on the tables were even pseudonyms, a far cry from the grandeur and sophistication expected of a four-star hotel."

"The room felt great overall, very clean. The owner, a young man, was very enthusiastic, and his homemade coffee and juice were on par with what you'd find in a coffee shop. The room was very smart, and the small courtyard also felt wonderful. The aunt's cooking was incredibly authentic, generous in portion, and delicious – a seal of approval from someone from Northeast China. The check-in experience was exceptional, truly exceptional. "I've never reviewed a hotel before. I stayed for two days, and the deposit was 200 yuan. I accidentally made a small stain, about 3cm in diameter. The hotel wanted to deduct it from my deposit upon check-out, saying it was for cleaning fees. I want to ask, if they don't pay the cleaning fee, does that mean they won't thoroughly disinfect and clean the hotel, and will they just let the next guest rest? Or, if you want a good review, just ask directly. I'm not unwilling to give one, but you take the deposit and demand a good review, requiring the names of two people at the front desk, like "Xiao Zhu" and something similar, and write it in long letters. Do you think everyone compromises for money? Fine, I don't want it. I'll expose your bad habits. I wonder how many good reviews are obtained by threatening deposits. This hotel, Benxi Grand Hotel, is right next to the highway exit. This is their way of treating guests. Anyway, I've never been pressured to give any conditions based on a deposit in all these years. Furthermore, the hotel has extremely poor soundproofing. The room is close to the elevator, and perhaps because of Children's Day, at 11 pm, a child was making noise outside for half an hour without anyone paying attention, and adults could be heard talking clearly. The room is also small, with nothing special except for individually wrapped towels. Cleaning is haphazard and inadequate; they don't even care about the water dispenser. Including breakfast, it costs 377 yuan. At this price, you're only paying for the location and parking. It's a 20-minute walk to find food. Aside from the convenience of staying near the highway exit, I wouldn't recommend it."
