You'd stay here only if you have business at the Freie University, for which it is convenient and basically the only option. Take the U Dahlem-Dorf (U3,U1) lines into town (30 minutes to everywhere). So, adequate, with rooms that are basically dorm rooms with en-suite toilet,sink,shower. Breakfast extensive and good. In-house restaurant (limited dining options off-campus) and lounge.

Io e il mio ragazzo abbiamo alloggiato qui a marzo 2019 (non mi dà l'opzione) e abbiamo trovato l'hotel molto pulito,camera doppia grande e personale gentile e cortese. Come posizione si trova un po' distante dal centro, ma a pochi metri ci sono le due linee metropolitane S e U con cui ci si può muovere bene. Se mai dovremo tornare a Berlino saremo contenti di essere nuovamente ospiti qui.

Staff were nice and pleasant. Good part of town with convenient transport links. Room was spacious and light. Able to open windows to a leafy quiet street. Style of interior isn't that of a super modern hotel.. it feels slightly dated but kept clean and tidy. Only bad points for me is the pungent stink coming from the bathroom, which I can only put down to old plumbing/drainage systems. A quite unbearable sulferous whiff which reached a highpoint in the morning 'showering' time... The aforementioned windows had to be opened wide. Apart from that it was fine, okay for a short stop Didn't partake in any of the dining or breakfast on offer

„+“ • nicely arranged apartment • very nice bathroom with window • no noise outside during the night so I could sleep with opened window • very balanced/rich breakfast (incl. vegan options) • generally clean • ecology: you can skip the room cleaning/towel change and get a free drink • puplic transportation: 8 min walking to the next subway station ~ • receptionists were very kind but some of them rather neutral/passive, some occupied themselves with their private smartphones as long as no guest was requesting their attention • the apartment on 19 m2 is officially an apartment because of the tiny kitchenette but it did not have the homely appearance of an apartment in which you would like to spend more time than in a normal hotel room • parking: all parking spaces in the street in which the hotel is were occupied but I could find a free parking space in a different street very nearby - • there were no towels in the apartment • the shower mat was dirty/used -＞ in both cases the staff helped me immediately • the kitchen in the apartment could not be fully used because there was not even a pot or a pan • the very few kitchen utensils were stored in a plastic bucket that was located in the open cupboard where you put your clothes and this bucket looked like a rubbish bin

I stayed for 4 nights in October at Ku’Damm 101. The hotel is conveniently located, with public transport available right outside the hotel and buses able to take you into the centre of Berlin within 15-20 minutes. There were lots of shops nearby and restaurants too, all within a reasonable walking distance. My room was facing the main road and I did get some noise from passing traffic at night and in the morning, despite being a few floors up. The breakfast at the hotel was basic. My room was very spacious and well kept with good amenities.

Me and my wife spent 3 nights here in early December and had a really good time. We absolutely loved the hotel and will make sure to come back next time we visit Berlin. It has a lovely, slightly decadent, charm! Our “de luxe” room was spacious, nicely furnished and felt luxuriously up to the task. The bed was really comfortable and the pillows were great (and this is not the case in the majority of hotels..) The staff was very helpful and friendly, in particular the personnel in the Bar! Our first night when we could not get a table in the restaurant, it was no problem eating in the bar with access to the full restaurant menu! The waiter was really helpful with nice personal recommendations with regard to both food and wine. The food is lovely, well cooked Asian/French cuisine with a nice variety of dishes! The breakfast menu is really nice and the staff is friendly and attentive! If you are hung up on buffet breakfasts, get over it and enjoy the well composed menus! I have seen people complaining about noice from the bar! The bar plus noice should not come as a surprise to anyone who book a room one floor up from one of the trendiest bars in Berlin. If your nights sleep is important and if you visit on Friday/Saturday get a room higher up in the building. We stayed at the fourth floor during the weekend and we did not hear a thing from the Dj/bar! Our only very small complain would be that the minibar wasn’t cool enough. We could live with that…😉

Dieses Hotel ist nicht zu empfehlen. Ich hatte ein Zimmer für 2 Nächte reserviert und kam am Anreisetag ca um 15:30 Uhr zum Check-in. Das erste mir zugewiesene Zimmer war nicht gereinigt und das zweite Zimmer war bereits belegt. Das dritte und finale Zimmer hat einen nicht besonders guten Eindruck gemacht. Es gab nur ein Dachfenster, welches nicht richtig abgedunkelt werden konnte. Trotz des Hinweises mit Hilfe eines Türschildes, dass eine Zimmerreinigung nicht erfolgen muss, wurde das Zimmer gereinigt. Das Personal hatte sich zwar für die Unannehmlichkeiten entschuldigt, aber eine Entschädigung, in welcher Form auch immer, wurde mir nicht angeboten. Einzig die Lage des Hotels war klasse.

Alles super! nette Rezeption, im Vergleich zum ”normalen” Axel deutlich besser, danke tür den zuvorkommenden Late check out!!

Excellent hotel with brilliant staff. Everything was so nice and easy from first contact until check out. Had a lovely stay with our kids, who always felt welcomed, for a special family occasion. Would love to come back again. Indoor pool a great plus - heated & super clean.
