Hotel 3 Bintang di Berlin

Changed to this hotel due to it's location. It's a few minutes walk from the sub way and 40 minutes walk to Aleksandraplatz

Excellent, comfortable hotel. Good size room on the 8th floor, excellent view. Comfortable bed. However it was a small bathroom, no fridge, no complimentary toiletries and no kettle. Close to public transport. They let us check in 30 minutes early.

Breakfast is amazing with many options, different types of pastries, sausage, salami, waffles... we were so full in the morning. Great location as it is located in Alexanderplatz and many restaurants and shops nearby.

An excellent place to stay right next to the subway stop so very accessible to all parts of the city. Only 2 stops away from Checkpoint Charlie too. Room is very comfortable and cosy. All the staff were friendly and there is a nice bar in the hotel.

The Hotel was very nice to stay at. We had good night sleep as the hotel was very quiet. Room and bathroom was very clean. Room service multiple times a day. Small rooms, but not too small. We only met sweet and kind staff in the 24 hour open reception. Hotel very close to many nice cafes and the U-Bahn and tram.

Ottima struttura, essenziale ed economica. Molto silenziosa. Buona posizione a 6 minuti a piedi da tram e linee U-bahn (staz. Osloer). Letto (a castello) comodo. Colazione molto buona, varia e abbondante. Wi-Fi sufficiente. Personale reception gentile e simpatico. Presenza di piccolo parcheggio auto e giardino con sdraio. Consigliatissimo. 5*****

Location: The location is the prime advantage if you wish to visit Berlin. All the attractions are easily accessible with Bus/S-Bahn/U-Bahn. So full marks for this. Breakfast: For vegeterians, was plenty to choose from. So we are happy with it. Ofcourse for non-vegeterians, maybe bit disappointing as there was no omlett/Wursts/HotDogs etc which you least expect. Staff: Overall good, except one incidence. A Guy with specs, from the kitchen area, talked rudely with us as we were taking photos of the food. He could have talked politely which is the first and utmost thing you expect in Germany. Other than him the all other staff members were good. ROOMs: The rooms were quite small because of extra Bed. We would like to mention that we were completely disappointed with the extra bed. It was big , agree, but it looked like it was a Sofa-Bed and had very large structure which took lot of room space. Exactly the way the others have complained here. The quality of the mattress was poor. The pillow quality was as well poor for this extra bed. The double bed was big enough but the qulity of the mattress can be better. Cleanliness: The room was in general clean except that certain areas needed immediate attention. For example the iron-pad had dust layers so decided not to use it at all. The toilet seat was from outside clean but the inner side was unattended and hence not clean enough. Next day the room service cleaned up the room but it was also not perfect. They only made the bedsheets. They did not bother to once clean the surface of bedsheets. Which we immediately noticed. Which is not expected from room service.

I stayed here for a group event held at a nearby location. II had a private room with private bath. The hostel has a breakfast buffet which has some hot items as well as rolls, cheeses, fruit, and cereal. The hostel is located near the Hermanplatz metro station. I would stay here again if I were visting Berlin in the future.
