"The villa is perched on a hillside, overlooking the lagoon and Matira Beach. Watching the sunset from the balcony every day is a truly wonderful memory. The spacious rooms feature a classic design, showcasing the owner's long-standing collection of books and antiques. Here, I read Gorgon's diary, "Noa Noa," and a collection of Tahiti history. The most unique feature is the outdoor bathroom. Bathing amidst palm trees and the sound of birdsong is incredibly relaxing. Listening to the rain here is also a truly Zen-like experience, easily allowing for a state of meditation. The garden features more than twenty varieties of palm trees, including a citrus crabapple tree, and various totemic stone carvings scattered throughout, highlighting the mystique of the tropical island. Our host, Nir, is incredibly knowledgeable, hospitable, and attentive, booking several local excursions for us, each of which was a fantastic experience. The island-wide bicycle tour and atoll cultural tour were particularly impressive."

"This place is absolutely PERFECT! The beauty of not only the natural scenery but every inch of the resort including the heavenly rooms. Every service person from the person who greets you at the airport, to the boat captain, to reception (mine was Marion and she's a gem) to the in-room dining employees. Everyone is so friendly and accommodating. The resort thinks of so many little details that make things special like welcome champagne, lavender oil to help you sleep, beach bag, etc. I've never had such a perfect experience before. "It feels like the hotel is old and a bit outdated compared to the Conrad and other hotels I saw online. Eating is relatively expensive. It is recommended not to go to French restaurants or Chinese buffets during the Chinese New Year. They are expensive and not delicious. For this price, you can eat several of the top domestic buffets. Because we were caught up in a hurricane when we arrived, it was raining and windy all the time, so we didn’t get to do anything, so we just snorkeled and watched fish in the hotel. The snorkeling area has a very good environment and there are many fish. The hotel has a Chinese-speaking butler, which is very nice. The hotel has boats and buses that can take you to the town on the main island, but apart from buying pearls, there is really nothing else in the town. Walking on the road is similar to that in rural areas in China, and there are many wild dogs. Generally speaking, going to Tahiti is not as good as going to the Maldives. The scenery and projects are similar, but the price/performance ratio is not as good as the Maldives. The same goes for hotels."

In Bora-Bora, I really wanted to book here, but I had a few questions to ask before doing so, regarding the width of the beds (important for me, not indicated on the site, and difficult to get an idea from the photos), and the periods available to establish my circuit (I always book flights before hotels). The place looks superb. So I sent an email (address provided on the site) at the beginning of July, a reminder a week later, still no response. I sent a third email in August. No response!!!. It's really a shame. I finally booked elsewhere."
