The hotel is within walking distance to the Ancient City. Good overall service. The breakfast is halal and very large variety. We enjoyed the breakfast very much. The room is spacious with good facilities. The shower is excellent. I would definitely stay again here when I come to Kashgar. There are many restaurants in the vicinity.

I booked via Trip.com — It was out of expectations!Close to Kashi Airport, feels like a 5-star stay at a lower price. The hotel is neat and clean with no cigarette smell. I highly recommend this hotel for international travelers, probably you may need translator app if you don't mind.

Service:
Outstanding. Polite and responsive staff. The most satisfying hotel service and best features I experienced while traveling in Xinjiang.

Location:
Free airport shuttle (with booking). Taxi to the city or Old Town costs under CNY 10. It is easy and cheap to move around.
A convenience store and Muslim restaurant with veggie dishes are just steps away.

Environment:
Spacious, quiet, with parking and a small garden.

Amenities:
All that a solo traveler needs.
Automatic heated toilet seat is an extra.
Voice control for the room (Chinese only) was impressive.
I liked the bathroom layout, with anti-slip tiles idea and a separate basin area.
Free laundry (washer + dryer).
Cozy lobby bar (working station) with coffee, milk tea, and soy milk provided. I saw a printer free to use too..

Personal downsides:
I can't find the hotel by the name ”Oriental hotel” (translated by trip.com). At the end, i figured out the name should be GreenTree Eastern Hotel
(Kashgar Airport Branch) as in Didi.
No fridge in the room, I couldn’t store fruits and cold drinks during my 4-night summer stay.

Suggestions:
- Add labels to breakfast dishes to avoid waste
- English signs would be an extra help
- There was once the locals talk loudly at night near the rooms — a reminder sign could help.

The rooms were very clean and they had great views over the city. It’s about 30 minutes on foot from the old town.
Great service, they allowed us to do a late checkout as our train was in the early evening and the dropped us at the train station for free!

The value for money of this hotel is very good, and then I feel very safe to live here, there are many things to eat below, the surrounding environment is also very good, and it is very clean.

This is my honest feedback after staying here:

Hair dryer
The hair dryer could only be used for about 1–3 minutes before stopping. As a female guest with long hair,it took me almost an hour to dry my hair because the hair dryer kept stopping it.I approached the front desk, but was only told that ”all the hair dryers are like this,” without any solution or alternative provided.

Extra chair
I requested an extra chair from the front desk three times, but was told each time that there were no chairs available because other guests had taken them. A room for two guests should at least have sufficient seating instead of just one sofa.

Front desk staff attitude
On several occasions, I noticed the front desk staff speaking to delivery riders with a very poor attitude. It came across as impatient and unfriendly, which doesn't reflect well on the hotel's service standards.

Laundry facilities
The dryer was actually working, but a notice was placed saying it was unavailable. If it is reserved for long-term guests, this should be communicated clearly. There was also no proper place to hang clothes to dry. For a hotel with around 180 rooms, having only two washing machines and two dryers (with the dryers unavailable) is far from sufficient.

Housekeeping
The housekeeping aunty were kind and helpful. They were one of the highlights of my stay.

Overall, there is definitely room for improvement. The only reason I chose to stay here was because it is close to my school. Otherwise, I would probably consider other accommodation options in the future.

The hotel was nice and a little hidden. Unfortunatly there was a constructionsite nearby which didn't really disturb to much though. It is easy to get around the City or to the Railwaystations as it is located very optimal.

GreenTree Eastern offers much value for the price of a night's stay.  With personalized service and a very friendly staff, staying here is a joy in itself.  The location is a few minutes away from the subway and MIXC Mall where you will fing everything that you may need.  Breakfast is included and provides an array of hot  vegetables, soups. fruit and drinks.  Its location, cleanliness, aminities, and very friendly staff have enticed me to stay here during my last four visits in ChongQing.
