"The room is spacious, and the location is great—just a 2-minute walk to the MRT station and 5 minutes to The Curve, IPC Shopping Centre, and IKEA. Shopping and dining options nearby are incredibly convenient.
The pool is decent.
However, the facilities are a bit old, and the towels are old and yellowed. The buffet breakfast selection is just average; it can't compare to One World Hotel's breakfast. But then again, given the price, there's not much to complain about.
If convenience is your top priority, this hotel is a good choice!"

"I booked the Deluxe Queen room because it has a ”kichenette”. It's actually just counter space with zero appliances. It's odd to not have an induction stove for this space, and the rooms not having microwaves makes it misleading to call this an ”aparthotel”. My room was a total eyesore (see photos). It's concerning that they won't improve the appearance of the rooms for the guests with several coats of paint. It's not compatible for long stays. There was construction across the hall (see last photo) from 10 AM to 5 PM which made it impossible for me to work remotely. The only 2 positives were the internet being private and the location being walkable."

"I recently stayed at M Hotel for a weekend staycation and was thoroughly impressed from start to finish.
The check-in process was swift and the staff at the front desk were incredibly warm and welcoming. Our room was spotlessly clean, modern, and surprisingly spacious. The bed was incredibly comfortable, ensuring a great night's sleep, and the blackout curtains were a blessing. The bathroom was well-appointed with excellent water pressure in the shower – a small detail that makes a big difference!
The location is a major plus. It's situated in a fantastic area with easy access, making it a breeze to get into the city center. For food and shopping, you're spoilt for choice. The iconic The Curve, IKEA, and IPC are all within a short, pleasant walk.
We didn't have time to use the pool or gym, but we peeked in and both looked very well-maintained and inviting.
What truly stood out was the service. Every staff member we encountered, from housekeeping to the concierge, was polite, helpful, and genuinely seemed to care about our comfort.
I highly recommend M Hotel for both business and leisure travelers. It offers fantastic value for money, and I will definitely be returning on my next trip to Kuala Lumpur!"

"I had a very disappointing stay at Sunway Pyramid Hotel.
The front desk check-in was extremely slow. Inside the room, I found a spider web in the bathroom — clear sign of poor cleaning.
Even worse, at the 8th floor elevator area towards rooms 08140–08146, there was an actual mushroom growing out from the wall corner (see photo)! This shows serious humidity and maintenance problems.
This is a hygiene and safety issue. I hope Trip.com can follow up with the hotel management and ensure proper corrective actions and a fair response to guests."

"The soundproofing wasn't great, and the pillows were uncomfortable. However, the bed was very comfortable, and the room didn't have any strange odors. On the downside, there were black marks in the corner of the shower, which looked a bit unhygienic. The hotel lobby, though, was quite impressive."

"It first time experiencing self checking hotel. The instruction given by email is not clear. Just ask you to call them before arriving.
I have never experience such self checking and it will be a good practice if the hotel is to give us specific instruction email and we need to pay deposit online before allow to check in. It took me almost 45 mins to check in. Further to this i was given a room that has not been cleaned and it was a total mess.
Luckily, they managed to change the room for me.
For a traveler who look for ease of checking in and better hospitality service (human interaction instead of over the phone) i will not recommend it. It will be a disaster if the traveler is not tech savvy.
It may has a good and clean facilities and the price is good but i will not recommend it. I will definitely not stay in a self check in hotel ever. It is definitely off my list of hotel to stay."

"Recently stayed at Napzbox @ Empire Damansara, a compact and modern capsule-style accommodation that offers a unique lodging experience. The location is right within the Empire Damansara complex, making it easy to access restaurants, cafes, and basic amenities.
The capsules are well-designed, clean, and comfortable enough for a short stay. Privacy blinds, charging ports, and individual lighting make the pods functional and practical. Shared facilities such as bathrooms and common areas were reasonably maintained.
This place is ideal for solo travelers, budget- conscious guests, or anyone looking for a simple overnight stay with a twist. While the space is minimal, it delivers a cozy and fuss-free environment at a very affordable price."

The homestay is so clean and great for old folks,
there are two bathrooms in the homestay one downstairs and the other one upstairs.
One queen bed in a room downstairs ,one queen bed in another room upstairs and a single bed outside the room which share up the bathroom upstairs.
The location is superb as well!
Will definitely stay here again if we are paying the next visit.

First room – toilet basin had water blockage.
Requested a room change – second room had trash in the bin and dusty bed.
Had to buy Febreze from Bila-Bila Mart to make it bearable.
Hotel provides new amenities, which is good.
But overall, poor maintenance and weak management.
Stayed 3 nights – saw many guests checking in and out, but upkeep doesn’t match the traffic.
Checkout was uncomfortable – had to wait for the lift twice.
Both times it was full of groups of male foreigners talking loudly. Felt uneasy.
This place has potential, but management needs serious improvement.

LLATINAH1. Check in process is made simple, I like that very much. I was allowed to check in 30 minutes early.
2. The room is clean . Other then bath foam & syampoo was given late ( accidentally missed to be put in the toilet), the rest of amenities were ok.
3. The TV channel are limited and the picture quality of the TV is not good. Please look into this.
4. Many restaurant are walking distance around 200 metres. MyNews shop 24 hours is available at ground floor of the apartment.
Overall I had a nice stay.

AAnlimWe checked in at almost midnight. No problem as the counter is open 24/7. Our stay was 4 nights. On the night we checked in, I walked bare footed in the room & found the floor quite dusty. I mentioned it to the receptionist the next day & after that, everything was cleaned well every day. For stay that is more than one night, you have to request for room cleaning. The cleaners do not go into your room without permission. I would request for room cleaning each day when I was going out for a few hours at least. The toiletries that we have used are replenished each day. There is even a shower cap which many budget hotels now no longer provide. 2 bottles of drinking water are given daily & there is also a drinking water machine you can use for free. The quality of the water is good, no chlorine taste. The TV has only local channels. The room was mostly quiet except for occasional honking of cars. Location is good & safe even when late at night. There are all sorts of food shops, from coffee shops to restaurants. Watson & Guardian are on the same row as the hotel. We had good roast duck dinner less than 5 mins walk away. There are 3 convenient marts nearby. The public market is 2 mins away & there is a hawker food court beside it. All clean with many types of food offered. Cons: There were a few spots in the room that showed wear & tear as you can see from my photos but It did not affect our comfort. I dislike that there is only a rain shower which means we would get our heads totally wet each time we shower and the shower head is almost right above the toilet bowl meaning it is all wet after our shower. In fact, the whole bathroom gets wet. Unfortunately the hose for cleaning after toilet use is just left lying on the floor. I don't know why the management doesn't bother to put in a holder at least.
