For this hotel have some advantages and disadvantages and will explain here why
Advantage:
- clean hotel and new really
- staff is very friendly and help a lot
- swimming pool very clean like it
- beach view so nice ....
- breakfast nice and have everything!!!

Disadvantages:

- we are unlucky and was raining all day .so hotel close outdoor swimming pool for security but also close the indoor swimming so what can do ? We spend one day around 2000-2500 for stay on room and look the rain !
Must find a way ....

- once the hotel little far from downtown so the dinner inside little expensive 1 person 499! So family 3 person need paid 1500 rmb for dinner ?? We are lucky that have Italian restaurant so need think to make a package for family.

- one show all day for 30 min not enough. The hotel normally need more animation for children and family
..
- the beach need work at left side hotel around 200-300 I don't know why where in front on hotel in better and clear than that area so need think about old pople pt children need walk all this in hot weather and sun !!

This most points for my 2 night experience on this hotel but in total is nice and accepted.
Thanks

The MGM Grand Sanya hotel was the last of our six hotels from our trip to China. We booked the Corona Sunset Sea-view Suite - Extra-large Ocean View Terrace via trip.com. This spacious two-room suite is 130 sq m with a large 100 sq m terrace. At reception we were immediately connected on WeChat to Sheldon, a butler who speaks excellent English and some Russian. The suite, with large floor-to-ceiling windows, is fully equipped: a capsule coffee machine, a hairdryer, an ironing board, an iron, fully automatic toilets (two in our room), slippers, robes for adults and children, and toiletries, including baby toiletries. We were especially pleased with the large live indoor flowers in the room. There is a minibar. Along the entire transparent terrace railing, on the left and right, there are fresh flowers with cute blue blossoms, which creates an additional cozy atmosphere: The terrace has sun loungers, a large table with chairs, and a small table with armchairs. There's also a clothes dryer, which is very convenient. The terrace offers a beautiful view of the sea and the hotel grounds. We recommend booking this room or villa, as breakfast in these room types is served in a restaurant next to the beach overlooking the sea. This restaurant offers both a buffet and an à la carte menu. Everything was delicious, and the service was excellent. There weren't many guests at breakfast in this restaurant. We also had breakfast in the main restaurant, but we really enjoyed the breakfast and service in this restaurant near the beach. The sea was excellent; there were some waves, but we swam. There were always sun loungers available by the sea. The hotel is large, with many children. Generally, the hotel is geared toward families with children, as there are plenty of activities for children. Some might find it noisy, but our room with a terrace was peaceful and quiet. Our booking package included a photo shoot, and we loved the photos – they were truly professional and beautiful. We want to say a big thank you to our butler, Sheldon, who was always available, answered all our questions, and made our stay even more comfortable. Upon check-in we encountered several cleaning issues, which Sheldon promptly resolved, for which we are very grateful. We have only positive impressions from my stay at this hotel!

I had a truly wonderful stay thanks to the excellent facilities and staff. My room was spacious, spotlessly clean, and I especially loved the large, luxurious bathroom!
Every staff member was incredibly kind, but I want to give a special shout-out to Kylin. I arrived well before check-in time, and Kylin went above and beyond by allowing me to use the pool and sauna early. I was also touched by the adorable lion plushie gift! Kylin even recommended a great local hotpot restaurant and answered all my small questions with such sincerity—a level of service you don't find just anywhere.
The rest of the team was also amazing, helping me with food delivery apps late at night and even bringing the food right to my room. This hotel made my trip so convenient and pleasant. I can't wait to visit Qingdao again just to stay here!
