Great room and service, but let down by rigid rules

Our stay was overall excellent. The location is perfect, the hotel is perfectly clean, and the room was spacious with a brilliant layout and great water pressure in the shower.

Unfortunately, a rigid policy at breakfast left a sour taste. We had leftover food that our son couldn't finish, but the restaurant staff completely refused to let us take it to the room. Even when we offered our own plastic containers to avoid wasting food, they still said no. Hotels should look at these things case-by-case when it comes to toddlers and children. The food was good, but this inflexible experience makes us uncomfortable about booking here again.

I am very grateful for the excellent service and support I received during my stay at Shama Sukhumvit. The team was attentive, professional, and always willing to assist whenever needed.
I would particularly like to thank Minnie for her outstanding customer service. She was incredibly helpful, understanding, and responsive, ensuring that any concerns were dealt with promptly and professionally. Her kindness, dedication, and commitment to guest satisfaction made a significant difference to my experience and were greatly appreciated.
Thank you to Minnie and the entire team for making my stay comfortable and enjoyable. I truly appreciate the effort and care shown throughout my time here and would be happy to recommend Shama Sukhumvit to others.

Excellent location next to Bangkok Hospital for patients and families. 10 min walk to Khlong Saen Saeb public boat stop but no other public transit. On this stay, the first room 8th fl wasn’t perfectly clean and we noticed drain flies in the bathroom. Second room 2nd fl was much better. Main issue: This hotel consistently fails to warn guests ahead of time about scheduled maintenance on the property. Last year they had a scheduled power outage we only learned about on the day. This year they had noisy pool repair construction that necessitated a room move. The front desk staff however are all excellent and super patient.

The room is very big, but there are noticeable signs of wear. There are cracks on the wall and the wall has a odour. It comes with a kitchen which is convenient, but can only be used to make simple dishes as there is only 1 stove and pan. The location is exceptional, located very near Sanba metro. Overall, it’s worth it.

I never stay somewhere else for my business travels to Hangzhou since 2018. You may find the breakfast selection not too variety. However their hospitality make their accommodation always full with customer.
Its location is in the middle of city which make commute between places easier. In fact, the nearest metro station only about a few minutes from the stay.
All staffs are very helpful and friendly.
Their body care product worked really well for my skin. I really love it.

Very clean, the hotel looks very new and toiletries are provided (which some hotels don’t these days!!). The wifi connection is very stable and strong.
The shower is very nice, hot water and the water pressure is very sufficient.
The room is slightly small but acceptable at this price range. Location is nice, few minutes away from MTR station and is accessible to food and mall
They brand themselves as apartment but in my opinion it looks more like a hotel, for instance there isn’t any kitchen. However, monthly rental options are available.

Second stay for this hotel this year.
Tip: If you prefer a quieter stay, do avoid the rooms with City View.
A guest keeper entered my room without much warning 15 minutes after I checked in and entered my room, not sure why this happened.
Overall still a decent 1-night stay given the price point.
