Great hotel for families. The two-bedroom setup is perfect for a family stay, and the layout is especially convenient—there are almost three bathrooms, including one that has a toilet only (no shower), which still works well for busy mornings.

The location isn’t close to the mall, but it’s still easy to get a Grab nearby. The furniture feels a bit old, but it’s not a major issue and everything was still comfortable. Overall, a solid and family-friendly choice.

I had a really enjoyable stay at this hotel and would definitely recommend it to others.
One thing I really appreciated was that I was able to check in early after arriving in Bangkok, which made a great first impression. The hotel has a beautiful, modern atmosphere and looks very welcoming from the moment you walk in.
The room was comfortable and well-maintained. I did notice a few hairs when I first entered the room, but housekeeping was still nearby, and after I mentioned it they came to clean it immediately. I did find a couple more later, so that’s a small detail that could be improved, but it didn’t take away from my overall experience.
One of the highlights of my stay was the rooftop restaurant, Sol & Luna. The views over the city are absolutely beautiful, especially in the evening. Whether you’re having dinner or just enjoying a drink, it really adds something special to your stay.
The location was also convenient. Of course, it depends on where you plan to go, but I found it easy to get around and reach most places without any problems.
Overall, I had a great stay and would happily choose this hotel again on my next visit to Bangkok.

We enjoyed our stay at the Somerset Ekkamai. We stayed for 5 nights, and the room had all the equipments we needed.

Room: The room had a stove, a big fridge, kitchenwares, and a laundry machine you can use.

Amenities: There’s a small pool downstairs by the lobby. There’s also a small gym, and the spa, and belly dancing studio are upstairs on the second floor.

Breakfast: The breakfast is spectacular. Although it was limited, everything was delicious. We also recommend the ice cream shop downstairs by the lobby, Daisy’s ice cream. 🍨

Very nice hotel with very nice staff :)
Location is great if its your second time in bangkok as its a bit far away from the main tourist attractions. Hotel offers shuttle to the subway which is great!

Loved my stay here! The property is tucked away on Sukhumvit Soi 23, which is about a 10 minute walk to the Asok BTS and Sukhumvit MRT. If you are feeling lazy, they have a shuttle, and there is a 7 Eleven right across the street which is super clutch.
The rooms are great! really modern and minimalist with huge windows that let in tons of light. It is also very practical for work, with plenty of USB ports and universal sockets everywhere. Plus, the infinity pool is a vibe.
I have to emphasize that the staff were really nice and made me feel so welcome. Also, the breakfast was a total highlight; they have an amazing Nutella machine that I am still thinking about. Such a great experience! All the staff were helpful even the housekeeping

Bilik yang selesa, sangat besar, daftar masuk dan daftar keluar dengan cepat. Peralatan yang lengkap di dalam bilik

Service apartment style, the rooms were a little old however everything is functional. My only complain about the room was the bed can use a little refurbishing as the master bedroom mattress was a little worn and it was sunk in on one side.

Breakfast had a decent selection and the little lady cooking the eggs and noodles always had a smile on her face.

The pool and outdoor area was enjoyable. There is a pingpong and pool table for use.

I checked out and left my bags at the hotel for a day with no problem.

Overall it was a good stay, not in the middle of the actions of Hanoi but walking distance to everywhere.

My main criterias for choosing hotels in Vietnam is space and cleanliness - Somerset exceeds expectations here. will point out that you will need to request toiletries and slippers on arrival since they don’t include by default. The location isn’t the most central but it’s good as a base.

Somerset West Point Hanoi is ideally located in a not-too-hectic area, close to the Old Quarter, with local food (Pho) stores, minimarts, hair salons and even a Muay Thai gym immediately next to it. We stayed in a 2-bedroom Executive Apartment which was in a clean condition, has ample space for a family of 5, international channels, a fully-functioning kitchen, as well as a washing machine with dryer function. I have to say the availability of a private washing machine with dryer function is crucial for a family with 3 kids. We had to wash every day. Breakfast was good, the pho type was changed every single day, and the staff at the check-in counter were young and energetic, with enthusiasm in serving the guests.

Absolutely loved my stay here—already planning my return!
From the moment I walked in, the service was top-notch. The front desk staff were warm, efficient, and went out of their way to make sure I had everything I needed. Housekeeping was impeccable—my room was spotless every single day, and turndown service was a nice touch.
The location is perfect—close to major attractions, restaurants, and public transport, yet quiet enough at night for a great sleep. The room itself was spacious, well-designed, with super comfortable bedding and blackout curtains that actually work.
Breakfast was a highlight—great variety, fresh ingredients, and the omelet station was a bonus. The gym and pool were well-maintained too.
Worth every penny. I’d absolutely stay here again without hesitation.

Stayed at a family suite for 6 nights. The location is peaceful and there are mcdonald, 7-11, Starbucks and a Chinese restaurant that closes quite earlier(as early as 830pm but opens around 7am) as this is a bio tech park office. There is a metro station right below the residence for those who prefer to take train. There are a few malls at the next station.
As for the apartment wise, it is quite poorly maintained for a 6 year old building. The ventilation not working or not working well and the drainage sinks in the bathroom. Aircon system not cold if even if it was set to 16c at different mode. The worse was the unit we stayed(4801) had a power failure in the middle of the night(1am)on the 2nd last night(3 Dec 2025). Called the reception and the service staff came to check. He was not a technician, he had to called the technician to check what happened. After to and for about 30 mins, we were told to move to another room. The staff did offer some help to move the things for us but we need some time to pack and to wake up the elderly and children, so we will move over ourselves when we were done. It was another room at the other concert about 20 m away. There were 3 family suites and 3 smaller room at this level. We managed to move over at about 230am, it took us another 45 mins before we were able to get back to sleep. It was about 330am. Everyone were tired and woke up late that morning. The room(4805) was slightly smaller and the same ventilation and aircon issue we faced in the previous room. The furnitures were not properly maintained as well. Room TV was not working due to power point issue, dinning table unstable and cause my drinks to spill, master bedroom doors were faulty(same for the previous room).

Overall, the stay was quite disappointing for a 5 stars residence managed by reputable Ascott hotel. There was no apology and we were not told what had happened that night. The hotel managers treated this incident like very normal and nothing had happened.

FYI. The hotel breakfast was not amazing. The coffee machine hardly maintained when is full or empty of water. The coffee doesn't taste good either. The table was not clean probably either probably due to shortage of staffs. The employees of the companies in this building will have their breakfast in the restaurant as well. Maybe the Chinese restaurant offer nicer breakfast and service. We tried the Chinese restaurant noodle for lunch on the first day, not too bad.

Cockroach need to be dealt with, everyday I can see a few cockroach running around.
Apart from that, breakfast is great, location is also good and house is also well equipped, there is kettle, bowls, plates, cooking pot,tv ..ets
