We stayed at Hotel Landmark Canton Guangzhou for 4 nights and had a very enjoyable and comfortable experience.

We were pleasantly surprised to receive a complimentary upgrade to a Club Room. The room was spacious and comfortable, and the toilet was very clean. One thing that really stood out was the service from our room attendant. He remembered that we did not drink coffee and, instead of leaving the usual coffee supplies, he thoughtfully provided us with extra tea bags every day. It was a small gesture, but it showed great attention to detail and made us feel well taken care of.

We also enjoyed having breakfast at a discounted rate. Another fun part of our stay was using the hotel's robots to deliver food to our room. It was a unique experience and something we really enjoyed.

The concierge team was also very helpful. At one point, my luggage somehow got stuck and I couldn't open it, but the concierge kindly helped me get it open. I really appreciated his patience and assistance.

Overall, it was a pleasant, comfortable, and memorable 4-night stay. The thoughtful service from the staff made a real difference to our experience. I would definitely consider returning to Hotel Landmark Canton the next time I visit Guangzhou.

Nice hotel prompt service no complains about it with additional veg hotel in the same building at night 2 am the bell boy helped with luggage from the room would definitely come again this was my 10 tme stay

Overall, the hotel is beautiful. The property is well maintained, the rooms are spacious and comfortable, and the location is excellent. We really appreciated the atmosphere and the quality of the facilities.

Unfortunately, our experience with the staff did not match the standard of the hotel. While everyone was generally polite, some employees seemed to lack the training and professionalism expected from a hotel of this level, which led to a few avoidable issues during our stay.

Our biggest disappointment came on the last day. We had purchased some local souvenirs and were preparing a package to be collected by a courier at the hotel. Instead of simply explaining if this was not allowed or directing us to a more appropriate place to pack our items, some staff members looked at us with obvious disapproval and made us feel very uncomfortable and judged. Their attitude came across as dismissive and unwelcoming, which left us feeling disrespected.

This experience unfortunately overshadowed an otherwise enjoyable stay. With better staff training, more professionalism, and a more respectful approach to guests, this hotel could provide an outstanding experience.

We had a wonderful stay at Hampton by Hilton! Everything was excellent—from the clean and comfortable rooms to the friendly and professional service.
A special thank you to the housekeeping team. They were always kind, patient, and never refused any of our requests, even when we had a few special ones. Their care and attention made our stay even more comfortable.
Thank you to the entire staff for your warm hospitality. We highly recommend this hotel and would be happy to stay here again!

I have stayed here 1x a year for the last 5 years, the rooms are great, but I feel the washroom is starting to feel old and needs updating. This year there was no breakfast included with the hotel, unless adding an extra fee. Easier to go outside to eat.

Location is great on Shaiman Island, but it has become so popular and now so many Social media people taking pictures. 5-8 years ago, the island was more tranquil.

Cultural Park Metro and Huangsha Metro are close by. There is a Mall close by and the. Huangsha Aquatic Seafood Market is 5-7 min walk .

See you next year!

I really enjoyed my stay. I received a room upgrade at the check-in and a packed breakfast at the check-out as I had informed about my early leaving next morning. The room was well-equipped, at least for 1 night stay I didn’t have any complains, also it felt like someone really had considered ergonomics and design. 2 types of slippers, for slippery and dry floor, were just a cute act of special care!

I had the pleasure of staying at Guangdong Yingbin Hotel again this year, and once again the experience exceeded all expectations. After my excellent stay last year, I decided to return and this time we booked two rooms – one for myself and my husband, and another for my brother from April 16–19 and April 22–May 5.

From the moment we arrived, the hotel maintained the same high standards of professionalism, cleanliness, and hospitality that impressed me the first time. The property is beautiful, elegant, very well-maintained, and truly offers a comfortable 5-star experience. The rooms were spotless, spacious, and quiet, making our long stay extremely relaxing and enjoyable.

A very special thank you again to Kyle, the Assistant Manager, who truly went above and beyond to make sure our stay was amazing from beginning to end. His professionalism, kindness, and willingness to help with anything we needed made a huge difference during our trip. Whether it was assisting with arrangements, answering questions, or simply making sure everything was running smoothly, Kyle consistently made us feel welcomed and cared for. Returning guests are remembered and treated with genuine warmth, which is something we deeply appreciated.

The entire staff was attentive, friendly, and accommodating throughout our stay. As international travelers who do not speak Chinese fluently, having such supportive and communicative staff made our experience much easier and more comfortable.

The location is also excellent, especially for business travelers visiting Guangzhou. The hotel is conveniently located near major wholesale markets and offers easy transportation access. The Canton Fair shuttle service was also extremely convenient and very well organized.

One of the main reasons I chose to stay at Guangdong Yingbin Hotel again this year was because of how exceptional my first experience was, and I can confidently say the hotel delivered the same outstanding level of service once again. It’s rare to find a hotel that maintains such consistency in quality and hospitality.

Thank you again to Kyle and the entire Guangdong Yingbin Hotel team for making our stay so memorable. I highly recommend this hotel to anyone visiting Guangzhou for business or leisure, and I look forward to returning again in the future.

Good location, suitable for optical business travellers.
Muslim resteraunt Zaitoon just in front. Jannat resteraunt south India nearby. Riverside 2kms. Mosque near by

The hotel in its heydays would have been pretty grand but now a little on the antique side. Feels like you've stepped into the 1960s set. They've progressively renovated the hotel but on some floors, when the lift door opens, the lift lobby looks like a set from The Shining! Just as well no flickering lights! Our floor smelt musky and on some days you can smell smoke likely from neighbouring guest rooms. Location was not central, still takes about 15mins to walk to pedestrian Street Beijing Rd. I would suggest staying more central if you prefer the Yuexiu district. Otherwise opt for Tianhe district - more modern.

One of our favourite stays was at White Swan Guest House.
We had the most amazing experience from the staff.

September 2024
We traveled to Meizhou from Shezhen.
Being from Australia with limited communication we struggled to get a DiDi not realising we were in the wrong town wanting a long trip.

We contacted White Swan hoping they could help us get transport. The lovely ladies Alice and Anna made every attempt to get us a DiDi so late at night and they had a friend who was able to get us from the train station.
Once he was at Meizhou train station and couldn’t locate us. Alice suggested we share location on WeChat. it was then that we all realised we were in the wrong town.

We had accidentally got off the train at the station before Meizhou, Xingningcun

Alice & Anna were so kind and offered to help find us accommodation for the night as it was already midnight.
We didn’t really want to because it will interfere with our schedule but there were no more trains.  The ladies understood and
said they could ask her DiDi driver friend but no guarantee as he had finished work for the night.
She asked if he would be willing to travel the 1.5 hours to Xingning South Railway station at 1am to come get us.
Which would actually have him driving for 3 hours for us.
It was a late night but we are so grateful that they tried so hard to communicate with us and make us feel safe and cared for. He was wonderful and because of his kindness we reached out to him many times during our stay. The staff especially Anna and Alice were amazing. Thank you for making our first visit to China a memorable experience.

The rooms were perfect, clean and comfortable.

September 2025
Because of the 2024 experience, we have chosen to stay at White Swan Guest House. They continue to go above and beyond, and it was great to reconnect with Alice again.

The room was clean and the staff was very helpful and friendly. Great location, with all the attractions nearby.

This charming hotel offers a truly special experience. Its unique character shines through in every detail. Guests rave about the attentive and friendly service. The location, nestled within the heart of the historic walking street, is unbeatable. Very cozy rooftop dining area with great view. This hotel is the perfect home base for exploring the wonders of Chaozhou City. Will definitely stay in this hotel again when I'm back in the city.

The location is convenient and quiet with brand new facilities and great breakfast, value for money. The staffs are friendly. The problem has less to do with the hotel than the customers. Though the rooms are non smoking, how do you explain to farmers, village bumpkins and the likes to listen. The staff have informed no smoking policies to travel agent leaders, but what can you do to people don't want to change? Fortunately, I got a room smoke free and stayed 4 nights happy. Morning corridors you can smell someone who smoked the night through.
