PPengguna Tetamuthe stay was so so good! firstly, before our arrival date, the hotel contacted us on both trip.com & wechat, so our transport to the hotel from emeishan station was smooth. check-in was fuss free as well, and the front office lady xiaoshi was kind, warm, and gave us tips for our trip up emei. we could borrow the hanfu and took pictures in the yard and around the hotel. the facilities were clean, nice, and overall really cosy. breakfast was really good too. and if you prefer to go up the mountain earlier, the hotel will also prepare some light takeaways for you, and thats super thoughtful i’ve read reviews that the location was not as good as those around baoguo; but since we were travelling as a family, this place was peaceful, slightly quieter and very near huangwan visitor centre! To me this was equally as good as hotels that are around baoguo. the trip up emei mountain was quick and fuss free as well, since I got the tickets and boarded the bus from huangwan (about a 5-7 mins walk away from the hotel) which is not much different from baoguo. will definitely stay here again if im visiting this area :))

PPengguna Tanpa NamaVery zen looking hotel very near the entrance to the Big Buddha Scenic Area. We were upgraded to a room at the first level with a huge courtyard. Though nice, we did not have the time to enjoy the extra space. Both the shower and toilet doors are of translucent glass and has no lock. 4 bottles of drinking water and 3in1 coffee are provided in the room. There's a small washing machine in the room but without full dryer function. Hotel compound is nice. Complimentary afternoon tea is actually self service biscuits, nuts and Chinese tea. There is also a free 3gb e-sim which we did not use. Free Hanfu experience is actually a few pieces of traditional clothings hung at the hotel reception where we are free to wear for self photo takings. We did not try as the costumes look like they were there for a long time and we were concerned about it's cleanliness. Breakfast is at another hotel a buggy ride away. We were supposed to be able to walk a short distance to the pier to board the ferry to see the Leshan Big Buddha but unfortunately, that pier was closed due to tide issues. We had to take the scenic bus (buggy) at RMB 15 per pax for a return trip to Wuyou ferry terminal to board the ferry. It was a long walk from the drop off point to the ferry terminal both ways. Would recommend this hotel for the room and hotel compound. However, if proximity to ferry terminal is a consideration, it pays to check that the pier near the hotel is in operation.

PPengguna TetamuService: First of all, we arrived at Emeishan Station at 9 a.m. and had booked the pick-up service in advance. The hotel butler came to pick us up in a business vehicle. Although the hotel is just a few minutes’ drive away, this thoughtful service greatly enhanced the overall experience. Le Méridien Emeishan is positioned as a resort hotel with over 300 rooms. Since we arrived quite early, we initially thought we’d have to wait until the afternoon to check in. However, the hotel had available rooms and kindly allowed us to check in right away. The butler even gave us two cups of coffee and drove us around in a sightseeing cart to show us different room types. Although we had only booked a standard room, they upgraded us to a lake-view room with beautiful scenery. We really appreciate the hotel’s excellent service! Additionally, the butler gave us 10 bottles of water upon check-in, which was more than enough—no need to call for more during our stay. Facilities: The hotel grounds are quite large, and the buildings are low-rise. Guests staying in Building 2 may need to walk about six to seven minutes to their rooms. The hotel offers a lobby bar, reading lounge, gym, hot spring pool, swimming pool, and kids’ play area. The facilities are generally comprehensive, though the entertainment options may feel a bit limited for a resort hotel. The children’s play area includes simple slides, swings, and a small ball pit—fairly modest in scale. Location: About 2 km from Baoguo Temple and close to the shuttle bus station for Emei Mountain. Very convenient. Breakfast: Abundant and delicious, with the option to dine outdoors in a beautiful setting. Environment: The hotel is located next to Exiu Lake, surrounded by a scenic park with views of the Golden Summit (Jinding). The environment inside the hotel is also pleasant—perfect for a relaxing weekend getaway. Overall: The highlight of this hotel is its outstanding service, which is undoubtedly the most important aspect for a resort. It would be even better if the facilities were more varied.

From the moment we arrived, we were warmly greeted by the professional and welcoming staff, setting the tone for a perfect visit. Due to some logistics, the hotel generously offered us a free room upgrade. The room itself was exceptionally good—spacious, modern, and spotlessly clean. The entire property is stunning, featuring beautiful ancient Chinese architecture that provides a charming, rustic feel while still offering all the comforts you could need. The service was a highlight of our trip. Every staff member we encountered was incredibly friendly and went out of their way to help us. We also thoroughly enjoyed the breakfast, especially the delicious noodles which were a perfect start to our day. To top off the amazing service, the hotel arranged for someone to see us back to the Emeishan railway station and even kindly paid for our fare. This level of care and generosity is rare to find. We will definitely be coming back for another visit and highly recommend this gem to anyone traveling to the area!

SScarletTheWandererI had the privilege of staying at Jishe Hotel in Leshan Giant Buddha Food Street, and I must say, it was an exceptional experience. The hotel boasts gorgeous decoration and offers a tranquil setting, making it a perfect retreat. The beautiful tea rooms were a delightful touch, providing a serene atmosphere to relax in. Upon entering my room, I was immediately impressed by its spotless condition and the attention to detail. The linens and bed were of high quality, and the inclusion of every modern appliance and amenity ensured a comfortable stay. The staff were incredibly friendly and went above and beyond to assist me in arranging my day, ensuring I didn't miss out on any attractions. The hotel's location is excellent, with only a 15-minute taxi ride to the Leshan Scenic area and a short three-minute walk to the ancient snack street. The proximity to delicious local snacks and restaurants made dining options easily accessible. Being situated along the riverfront was a real treat, as I could take leisurely strolls by the water in the mornings, with the magnificent Giant Buddha visible in the distance. While it would have been nice if the hotel served breakfast, the abundance of snack options just minutes away compensated for it. I highly recommend Jishe Hotel to anyone visiting Leshan, whether they are friends, couples, solo travelers, or on a business trip. The location is unbeatable, the staff are incredibly friendly, and the hotel's cleanliness sets a new standard.

The hospitality we experienced was exceptional. Our host went above and beyond, assisting us with everything we needed. He even provided transportation and cooked delicious meals for us, making our stay incredibly comfortable and convenient. Our room was nothing short of spectacular. We were given a top-floor suite, boasting a spacious terrace with panoramic views. It was the perfect spot to relax and soak in the scenery. The breakfast each morning was delightful, offering a variety of tasty options. Overall, our experience was fantastic, and we can't wait to return.

I was on the 4th floor and didn't find it that nice in the sense that a mosquito still flew in and bit me during the night (you could hear it in the room). And because there's no solid wall separating you from the living room (there's just a shelf), there wasn't any way to effectively shut the mosquito out. The night porridge also came with a piece of hair in it so from that point on, I stopped asking for the nighttime porridge. The staff are not that nice and are actually quite rude. For example, the lady who made my milk tea and most of the front-desk staff with the exception of one. I have to shout out the shuttle driver; he was so incredibly friendly and really made me feel welcome, while everyone else made me feel like a hassle. My Chinese isn't that great but I try my best, and the lady who made the free milk tea acted like a burden when I asked her to repeat things and didn't even bother explaining what it was. They are not that friendly over WeChat either compared to other hotels I've stayed at. Again, I have to shout out the shuttle driver. I never got his name but he was so cheerful and nice. He also helped unclog the toilet several times; not sure if there was some kind of plumbing issue but it clogged almost every single time and so I unfortunately called him a lot. But he was so patient and helpful every single time and he is the highlight of my stay. Everyone else should adopt his attitude rather than being cold over the WeChat customer service support chat, or basically shouting at you because you are having trouble understanding the free milk tea options.
