The staff were truly amazing—super helpful and friendly, they really went above and beyond and deserve a big bonus for their service. There were a few insects in the room and some along the hall, but everything else was well maintained. I did go to the front desk to ask for pillows and waited for a while with no one there, but aside from that, the experience was wonderful overall.
The staff all definitely deserve a BIG Bonus for my family of 9 there, would definitely recommend this hotel to others. Hope they can improve on what I said ❤️ Thank you for all your help

LLanJiangWe initially chose Pure Cloud Hotel for its proximity to Wuxiangang Bus Station and its recent opening. The drive up the narrow mountain road, full of sharp turns, was a bit unsettling for our city Didi driver, so we were secretly relieved (as was our driver) when we finally arrived. At first glance, the hotel seemed quite simple, and I wasn’t entirely sure I had made the right choice. However, any lingering doubts were quickly washed away by the warm welcome from Derek, the hotel manager, and the staff.
When we got to our room, it was pure joy! The minimalist design is visually soothing, and the balcony with its expansive mountain views made us feel like just hanging around and doing nothing was more than enough.
If you're the kind of traveler who feels guilty about not doing anything, rest assured that the hotel is in a beautiful section of the mountain. There's a lovely old temple and a sacred spring pond nearby—Zhongfeng Temple and Shenshui Pavilion, I believe. You’ll also enjoy the energy of hikers rushing up and down the mountain. There are enough people to make it lively but not overwhelmingly crowded like Leidongping or Jinding, where the crowds can be exhausting.
A special mention goes to Derek, who exceeded all our expectations. His kindness and professionalism reminded me of the kind of service you expect from a six-star hotel, where every need is anticipated. Derek went above and beyond, making our journey to Golden Summit and onward to Leshan much smoother and more enjoyable. Since we speak minimal Chinese, he kindly helped us communicate with the next hotel, explaining how to get there. He even offered us a free ride to the bus station when we struggled to find a Didi in the area. Derek also helped arrange our transfer to Leshan. We were incredibly impressed and grateful for his assistance.
If I had to suggest one area for improvement, I’d say the dinner options could use some enhancement to match the overall excellence of the stay.
A small tip: If your goal is to catch the sunrise and sunset at Golden Summit, you'll need to stay at one of the mountaintop hotels near Jinding. Logistically, getting to these hotels involves taking a bus from Baoguosi or Wuxiangang Station to Leidongping, then a cable car to the upper platform, followed by a roughly one-hour hike with steep steps to Jinding. It's manageable with a backpack, but not ideal with large luggage. That’s why we chose Pure Cloud Hotel for its close proximity to Wuxiangang Bus Station, leaving our luggage there and heading up the mountain with just our backpacks.

We had an absolutely incredible stay at this hotel and cannot recommend it highly enough. From the moment we arrived, we were warmly greeted by the professional and welcoming staff, setting the tone for a perfect visit.
Due to some logistics, the hotel generously offered us a free room upgrade. The room itself was exceptionally good—spacious, modern, and spotlessly clean. The entire property is stunning, featuring beautiful ancient Chinese architecture that provides a charming, rustic feel while still offering all the comforts you could need.
The service was a highlight of our trip. Every staff member we encountered was incredibly friendly and went out of their way to help us. We also thoroughly enjoyed the breakfast, especially the delicious noodles which were a perfect start to our day.
To top off the amazing service, the hotel arranged for someone to see us back to the Emeishan railway station and even kindly paid for our fare. This level of care and generosity is rare to find. We will definitely be coming back for another visit and highly recommend this gem to anyone traveling to the area!

PPengguna TetamuWe had a 3d2n stay at the 绿竹 guestroom and experience was very enjoyable. The room was comfy, clean, and the service was impeccable. Food (both breakfast and dinner) were extremely tasty.
The hotel is located away from the hustle of the touristy area and provided a sense of serenity, an escape from the crowds, shrowded among mist and forest.
Transport to-fro the 五显冈 bus station was provided and they were very responsive to messages on WeChat.

- the location is fantastic with lots of hiking nearby and easy to get to the buses for Mt. Emei
- the staff are very friendly
The bad:
- the hotel is definitely looking tired and dated: chipped woodwork in the rooms, flaking paint on the balcony.
- only one of the many bars is open. Everytime we wanted to order something we were shown a huge menu, only to then be told most things were not available - this included wines, beers and food.
- the hotel was incredibly quiet with the restaurant and bar being completely empty most of the time we were there. Whilst not the hotel’s fault, it dead mean a complete lack of atmosphere.
- various items were listed as included when booking with Trip.com - none of them were available or in fact included.
- when advise was needed from reception: the information given was often not accurate. The staff were wonderfully friendly, they just did not seem to have accurate information or to check it.
Overall: this was the most expensive hotel booked during my three week tour of China and the most disappointing. I would unfortunately not recommend, especially in low season.

JJenWAHistrionic hotel with beautiful lake/park, friendly staff, good breakfast! We can imagine this was a five-star hotel 20 years ago. Unfortunately, the room amenities seem outdated; the furniture and appliances are old and damaged, and the carpets are worn and filthy. We checked in building 5, in our rooms the mattress was old, very thin & You can feel the prickly springs inside the mattress.. We couldn't sleep at all the first night, and it wasn't until the staff upgraded our rooms twice that we were able to sleep on the standard hotel mattresses. As a five-star hotel, old and broken facilities can be excused as ”nostalgia,” but at the very least, guests should be provided with comfortable mattresses and a clean environment. There are other things I don't want to mention here, because these problems aren't the house keeping staff's fault, but rather the responsibility of the hotel management. Finally, I want to thank the housekeeping supervisor/manager who upgraded our rooms; they were very patient and even thoughtfully brought us fruit.

PPengguna TetamuThis is not a 4 or 5 start resort. It’s a 5 star room down the river. The restaurant was closed when we were there, so called gym does not exist at all, swimming pool is small like a pond and the bigger one is for kids. There is no garden or anything that covers the road and the bridge you can hear easily while staying down the swimming pool. The big bonus is the bathroom- big and modern exactly like on the picture and the spring water hot tub that works well and can create a great time during the night as you can hear the river. Light system is amazing. You can find any light that you need to set up a mood. People are very nice and friendly. The front desk does not have ‘ business card’ and location of the hotel was written down on a paper. Really little things that shows this place has a potential but not in the current set up. You can’t lock the room door when you are not inside- only the garden gate. Who would design such a thing? I know it’s a safe destination but still. There is no safe either. People create this place special but it does not meet a high standard resort score.

DDr. Honey BhatiaWe had a perfect stay at the Emmy Mountain Hot Spring Hotel. Everything was great — the hot spring facilities were excellent, and our child really enjoyed them. The whole family had a very comfortable and relaxing experience.
What made our stay truly special was the incredible hospitality. A special mention to one of the managers, Wan Li, who went far above and beyond her duty. She helped us with translation, gave us great advice on places to visit around Emei Mountain and Leshan, and made sure we felt completely at ease throughout our trip. Her kindness and support made a real difference for our family.
Thank you to Wan Li and the entire hotel team. Everything was just right — we highly recommend this hotel for anyone visiting the area.

PPengguna Tetamu首先訂之前想訂個天然温泉，專門挑了山上的，店家聯繫確認了，才知道是燒的温泉水，説不欺客，衝著這份誠意，也就沒換地方了。再來是不得不給管家點個大大的贊，服務太到位了，有求必應，孩子説蘋果好吃，就送蘋果，説雪花酥好吃，又送雪花酥，來來回回跑。晚上玻璃門不小心劃開了，貓貓跑出找不到了，外面下起了大雨，管家還跑上跑下冒雨幫忙找小貓，盡職盡責的，真的太感謝了！再説説房間，衞生還算乾淨，就是那個床頭的燈光控制面板，對着床頭，一晚上亮着，對於我這種晚上有點光就睡不着的人，一晚上是沒休息好的。加上空調風口就在頭上對着吹，更是影響睡眠，還是設計的問題。早上空氣特別清爽，早餐比較簡單，其他都挺好的

PPengguna TetamuCleanliness and location are good, and this hotel has the potential to be an excellent place to stay if it can improve in the following areas:
1. Power outlets: Please consider providing alternative outlet types such as Type C (two round pins) to better cater to international guests. The current Type I and A outlets are more suited to local use. Emeishan was my final stop after visiting Chongqing, Yichang, Enshi, Chengdu, and Gaoping — and all those places provided Type C outlets. Because of this, I was unable to charge my phone here. Although the front desk staff eventually helped me with charging (somewhat reluctantly), I believe hotel staff should proactively offer assistance in such cases. Good service is essential in the hospitality industry and is what gives a hotel a competitive edge.
2. Bathroom hangers: At present, the only option is the grab bar inside the shower cubicle, which is impractical since clothes get wet during showers. Proper hooks or hangers in a dry area of the bathroom would be much more useful.
3. Bathroom amenities: Providing a floor towel (bath mat) would allow guests to dry their feet before stepping out of the bathroom, adding comfort and safety.
4. Storage: Instead of only a few wall hooks, a proper hanging closet or wardrobe would greatly improve convenience for guests.
5. Luggage storage: A luggage rack should be provided so guests do not have to leave their bags on the floor.
These may seem like small issues individually, but together they significantly affect the overall guest experience. I share this feedback not as a complaint, but in the hope that it will help the hotel improve for future guests.
