From the moment we arrived, we felt like we had stepped into a living piece of history — but with all the modern comforts you could wish for. The traditional architecture is absolutely beautiful, with charming wooden details, tranquil courtyards, and a quiet elegance that's hard to find anywhere else. Every corner of the homestay tells a story, yet the rooms were clean, cozy, and thoughtfully equipped — and spacious enough for our whole family to feel comfortable. The host was incredibly warm and welcoming, always ready with a smile, local tips, and even a delicious home-cooked breakfast featuring regional specialties. While not a family member, they treated us like one — attentive, kind, and genuinely invested in making our stay special. Waking up to the scent of tea and the sound of birds in the ancient alleyways was pure magic. If you're looking for an authentic, peaceful escape with genuine hospitality and a deep sense of place — especially if you're traveling with loved ones — Nanyuan Ancient Homestay is a true gem. We left feeling rested, inspired, and already dreaming of returning. Highly recommended for families who want more than just a place to sleep — but a memory to cherish together.

PPengguna TetamuWe had a 3d2n stay at the 绿竹 guestroom and experience was very enjoyable. The room was comfy, clean, and the service was impeccable. Food (both breakfast and dinner) were extremely tasty. The hotel is located away from the hustle of the touristy area and provided a sense of serenity, an escape from the crowds, shrowded among mist and forest. Transport to-fro the 五显冈 bus station was provided and they were very responsive to messages on WeChat. Highly recommended 整体体验非常棒！ 服务周到、 食物好吃、客房舒服干净。 世外桃源。

EEmiliaB1655We slept here for one night before hiking mount Emei and it was the perfect place! Spacious rooms with an amazing bathroom and comfortable bed. The staff was extremely helpful and took their time to explain everything to us with translation apps. They gave us a map of the mountain and showed us the best routes and which temples to sleep in. We also got to store the bags we didn’t want to bring to the mountain in their lobby for free which was very helpful. Lastly, the location is amazing and directly by a lot of restaurants.

PPengguna TetamuExcellent location, near to Emeishan Tourist Bus Station, near to Baoguo Temple, all restaurants are at the same area. It's run by a couple, the husband picked us from the High Speed Rail Station and his wife sent us when we left. Both are very generously kind people.

JJQ_MJMThe receptionist and the exterior appearance of the hotel look good and welcoming. However, the room itself feels quite old. The bathroom is designed in black color, including the toilet bowl, which makes it difficult to tell whether it is properly cleaned. In addition, the water pressure in the bathroom is quite low. The hot spring is open-air and does not provide much privacy, so it was not very comfortable to use. The breakfast selection is simple but still nice and healthy, with items such as buns, potatoes, soya milk, and vegetables. The location is good and within walking distance to Baoguo Temple. The Emeishan Baoguo Temple bus station, which is the pickup point for sightseeing buses, is about a 5-minute drive away. However, walking there is not very convenient as there is only a road and no proper pedestrian walkway.

GGab&Momma’s tripsThe location is very convenient. Close to Baoguo Temple station and near some attractions. Convenient if you’re catching early bus 🚌 to Emeishan. The staffs are very friendly and helpful. They offer complimentary Chinese breakfast. Also, the hotspring is clean, a perfect relaxation after a long day hiking to Emeishan.There are a lot of restaurants nearby. We had an awesome stay.

PPengguna TetamuProbably the nicest hotel in Leshan but does have some problems. Check in desk staff do not even know a single word of English even though they have studied it since grade 2. They won't even look at you if you can't speak Chinese. Wanted to know what airport I flew into China from even though I am on a spouse visa and have been here for 7 years. Creates nothing but problems. The hotel itself is a new renovation of an older building. The owner has spent lots of money on materials to make the place look new, however inside the room those materials were installed by perhaps the worst and dumbest installers ever. There is silicone and paint overpsray everywhere. The bathtub is nice but of course the drain doesn't work right and the water supply fittings turn in circles because they weren't installed right. The walls of the shower and toilet room have never been cleaned not even after construction. There is still construction dust and silicone everywhere. Sad that they would hire such a worthless installer to install premium quality items The cleaning staff is friendly however they will scream loudly and horque a loogy and spit right outside your bedroom. Downstairs on the third floor is a tea bar overlooking the river. It is nice but if you ask for coffee in English they don't understand. So I asked for coffee in Chinese and they still didn't understand. Useless. Overall for most people they would probably enjoy this hotel. It's got a great location and is a new renovation. The AC worked very very well.
