From the moment we arrived, we felt like we had stepped into a living piece of history — but with all the modern comforts you could wish for. The traditional architecture is absolutely beautiful, with charming wooden details, tranquil courtyards, and a quiet elegance that's hard to find anywhere else. Every corner of the homestay tells a story, yet the rooms were clean, cozy, and thoughtfully equipped — and spacious enough for our whole family to feel comfortable. The host was incredibly warm and welcoming, always ready with a smile, local tips, and even a delicious home-cooked breakfast featuring regional specialties. While not a family member, they treated us like one — attentive, kind, and genuinely invested in making our stay special. Waking up to the scent of tea and the sound of birds in the ancient alleyways was pure magic. If you're looking for an authentic, peaceful escape with genuine hospitality and a deep sense of place — especially if you're traveling with loved ones — Nanyuan Ancient Homestay is a true gem. We left feeling rested, inspired, and already dreaming of returning. Highly recommended for families who want more than just a place to sleep — but a memory to cherish together.

Ssanti.tanIt was a perfect stay for us. Clean, high tech and spacious room, very helpful, nice location and breakfast menu also various. Two lady called Xiao Fan and Xiao Cheng are very informative and friendly in helping us. Very recommended, worth it, definitely will come back again.

PPengguna TetamuConvenient location, nice decor, the owner and his family were very warm, hospitable and accommodating. His wife has a really green thumb with all the beautiful flowers around the premises. They provided transport services to and from the railway station and even to a nice restaurant they recommended one night. It was one of the best meals we had in SiChuan during our visit. We had fun dressing up in Hanfu and took nice photos. We’d be happy to stay here again.

MMary and familyWe really liked this hotel during our short stay in Leshan. It’s located in a picturesque pedestrian street with old architecture and red lanterns hanging right outside your window but inside is modern, thoughtful and warm. All the girls working at the reception desk were sweet kind and helpful. They added my WeChat upon arrival and sent lots of info about the hotel amenities and suggestions for the surrounding area. We visited in December and our room was a warm and cozy oasis after a full day of hiking.

We were given a top-floor suite, boasting a spacious terrace with panoramic views. It was the perfect spot to relax and soak in the scenery. The breakfast each morning was delightful, offering a variety of tasty options. Overall, our experience was fantastic, and we can't wait to return.

The building itself is stunning, with beautiful heritage-style architecture, but what really stood out was the service. From the hotel driver to the reception team and room service, every member of staff was genuinely attentive and welcoming. One highlight was the hot spring pool. I was lucky enough to have it all to myself, and it was absolutely perfect—so relaxing after a tough hike and it left me feeling completely rejuvenated. On top of that, the snack combo was a real bargain and added extra value to my stay. If you’re looking for a place that combines comfort, great service, and authentic charm, I highly recommend this hotel. It’s the perfect choice to unwind and enjoy an amazing stay after exploring Emei Shan.

BBernicetjmXiao Zhou and his colleagues provided us with exceptional service during our one-night stay at the hotel! They were very nice and friendly, attentive to our needs and requests, and chatted with us in an open and welcoming manner whenever we inquired about aspects of the local environment, Mt Emei, etc. We had dinner at the hotel during our stay and ordered the chef's recommendations. The food was AMAZING and so fresh. The fish and chicken dishes that we had came from live fish and chicken that they reared within the hotel compound. If they were a local restaurant back in my country, I would frequent them without a doubt, and would love to bring my friends to try their cuisine. The staff were all so friendly and accommodating, Xiao Zhou even brought us to take a look at the hotel's chicken coop and fish pond. When we had to leave for our hike to Mt Emei's summit, Xiao Zhou and his colleague kindly drove us to the nearest bus station so that it would be easier for us to access Mt Emei's public transportation, a gesture which we appreciated a lot! All in all, their attentiveness to us, good manners, and warm and friendly dispositions all contributed to a memorable stay. Of course, the rooms themselves were spotless and comfortable. Would love to come back here in the future!!

PPengguna TetamuWe had a generally pleasant experience staying at this property. The hotel van picked us up from the railway station too. Staff are courteous and friendly. We were provided with free bottles of water upon requests too. The only but a huge problem we encountered was a QR placard placed on the table which says SCAN FOR FREE WIFI. Upon scanning, my phone was directed to WeChat app. I just ignored it, but 2 days later when we were already in Dujiangyan, my WeChat account was suddenly blocked due to serious violation of WeChat rules. I tried everything to unblock it but none helped. I even asked assistance from Chengdu police located inside the Tianfu Square metro station but that didn’t help too. I believe some hotel staff placed that QR code in purpose.

There are also chinese costumes for you to dress up and move around the hotel for photo taking. The lady at the reception named Xiao Wang is very kind and helpful.
