Hotel berhampiran Tienda de insumos (of.4), Buenos Aires

Clean and well presented hotel in a great location on Av Corrientes. The street comes alive at night with buskers, dancers & small market stalls. The hotel is safe & staff were very helpful. Only (minor) negative was that yhe rooms don’t have kettles so you need to walk down to level 1 to get hot water (bit odd). But it’s a good hotel and worth a visit.

First I'd like to say that the young man who assisted me when I arrived late at night at Up Tribeca was entirely professional and courteous with me, even though I checked out almost immediately after checking in. So: I initially booked three nights at Up Tribeca because the reviews for the hotel were all positive; however, the hotel ”ambience” is entirely artificial and - to put bluntly - weird. All the rooms are centered around an open-air courtyard (btw, that courtyard is the only fresh air in the hotel), and because I checked-in late at night, I had a very hard time trying to find my room number while walking the hallway along the courtyard, as it was lit by a few neon lights that (I guess) gave off a cool vibe, but no actual light. Because it was so dark, I mistook the wrong room for mine and kept trying to open the door with my card, until I noticed (again, hard to see with no light!) the ”do not disturb” sign on the door handle (sorry to whomever might have woken up to me trying to open their door.) I then continued down the dark hallway to my correct room, and when I opened the door, I was greeted to a completely windowless box of a room that reeked of synthetic air-freshener, making it smell like I just walked into a Zara Home Furnishing store. The smell was suffocating, and of course there was no way to open a window to get rid of it because no window existed. If you've ever watched the Apple Tv show ”Severance,” then you'll get the kind of atmosphere this room had: it felt completely claustrophobic and dystopic. I didn't spend more than thirty seconds in that room before I grabbed my suitcase and went down to the front desk, requesting a different room that had a window, only to be informed none of the rooms have windows. At that point, I asked him to call me a taxi, and I left for another hotel. To sum up: if you don't care that you're staying in a windowless box that smells like a home furnishing store in the local mall, you'll be fine at Up Tribeca. Otherwise, I would strongly recommend you book elsewhere.

Fui para o Hotel Parada extremamente preocupada em virtude das avaliações negativas, mas arrisquei pelo preço baixo e pela localização. Vi avaliações que relataram questões com limpezas e precariedade no serviço de quarto, consequentemente, já viajei com lençóis e toalhas na mala. No entanto, fiquei seis dias no Hotel e, honestamente, não vi nada das falhas apontadas pelos demais hóspedes, talvez o Hotel tenha tentado melhorar. Quartos confortáveis, limpos, não houve barulho noturno, tampouco sol entrando nos quartos. Atendentes prestativos que indicaram que poderíamos pedir toalhas novas sempre que quiséssemos. Os banheiros não possuem box, mas quem já viajou para outros países sabe bem que a questão do box é mais uma tradição brasileira, e não foi um fato que fez com que o banheiro fosse desconfortável. A localização é ótima, com duas agências da Western Union próximas, muitas padarias para tomar café. Me senti na obrigação de fazer esta avaliação pois, dentre tantas avaliações negativas, os dois quartos ocupados por mim, meu companheiro, e nossas mães, não corresponderam às críticas tecidas nas avaliações.

erano gli anni bui di Buenos Aires, quelli del cacerolaso …. e in tale data che ritornai per la seconda volta in piacevole hotel allora di proprietà di un emigrato italiano, che con la sua esperienza del settore fece di tutto per rendere la nostra vacanza meravigliosa anche per la sua econimicità, e ci riuscì appieno, personale attento e scrupoloso, camera fra gli ultimi piani che ci dava un panorama unico e massima la pulizia, colazioni ricche e abbondanti: La posizione UNICA a pochi minuti c'è Buenos Aires a Vostri ”piedi” : Plaza de Maio con il palazzo della Presidenza … La cattedrale, ( durante la visita conoscemmo l'allora arcivescovo di B.A. poi divenuto Papa ….), Sant'Elmo e il Caminito a piedi mezz'ora …., attraversando la strada per andare alla zona commerciale della Florida, c'era il giornalaio anche lui italiano, con i giornali italiani il teatro Colon … cosa si vuole di più ripeto B.A. alla nostra misura di vacanza a che a piedi !

I've been staying at Air B& B's since 2017, being La Habana; Cuba my first experience ever so Trip Advisor (finally) is great to see I can now review Air BB's and by the way just a ”constructive” criticism more ”categories” should be added: trains, airlines etc. (just saying). Here we go: As a native Argentinean I go home at least once a year to visit my family, obvioulsy 90 % of the time to & from Buenos Aires, not I'm not from B.A. (Buenos Aires) but I either fly to or from to continue my trip to my hometown. My last time there I stayed at Top Rentals Buenos Aires, my very first time using this company and I must say I was really impressed ! The property is located on Esmeralda Street so centrally located is within walking distance pretty much anywhere downtown, super safe, always be mindful of your surroundings like everywhere else and do please ( can't type all caps) but NO flashy jewelry or nothing fancy while on the streets. The check in process is located in one of the upper floors of the Building Complex, but upon arrival the security officer at the lobby will give you specific instructions where to go. Rooms are so spacious, clean, beautiful views of the area and a small balcony to sip your malbecs, with the River Plate on the background. The staff is super attentive, apartments comes with toiletries, towels, and utensils for cooking, but really ?? You are in The Paris of South America so who will want to cook ? I couldn’t use the pool too cold for me. I highly recommend it you won't regret it, so good this place is that with my luck!!! One of the South American Presidents (don't know whom) decided to stay in that same building at the time of my visit, no wonder why there were so many police and security so if this place is good enough for a president of country I'm guessing is good enough for us to!! Es un gran hotel que se encuentra ubicado en una de las mejores y más lindas zonas de CABA (y las entradas al subte están muy próximas) y se encuentra bastante insonorizado. Es un hotel muy amplio y cómodo. El desayuno es cumplidor. Entregan artículos de aseo personal y el Wifi funcionó muy bien, permitiéndonos trabajar allí mismo. Si podría mejorar es la cantidad de enchufes (tomas) en cada habitación, ya que nuestra habitación solo tenía 1 disponible. La pileta no la pudimos utilizar porque estaba vacia los días que fuimos.

We just spent a week in Buenos Aires and this hotel was a pleasant surprise. Our room was clean, quiet, and comfortable. The water pressure in the shower was terrific. The room was a bit small but still quite manageable. Bring slippers, as the tile floor in the room gets quite cold. I'd also recommend you bring a few coat hangars with you, the wire type you get from your dry cleaners that you don't mind leaving behind. There isn't a hairdryer in the room but you can get one from the front desk. You can also get an iron and ironing board from housekeeping if you need them. There is no U.S. type electrical outlet in the room but there is one European type. The included breakfast was adequate--pastries, cold cuts, dry cereal, cheese, coffee, tea, and fresh-squeezed orange juice. If you arrive early, the front desk will store your luggage for you until your room is ready. There are plenty of attractions within walking distance of the hotel, as well as excellent restaurants. Just a block away is a small, family-run place called Viejo Alsina that features excellent food at a very inexpensive price. The famous San Telmo Market is an easy half-,mile walk. For some reason Uber cannot pick you up or drop you off near the hotel. It's about a quarter-mile to the nearest pickup point. However, the car service (Talixo) we booked to and from the airport was allowed to pull up at the lobby door. That was $74 round trip. All in all, this hotel was perfect and the price was a bargain ($321 for the week). That may have been the winter rate, but winter is the best time to visit BA.

Ficamos hospedados no hotel Waldorf durante 7 dias, de 04 a 11 de julho. A localização do hotel é excelente!!! Pertinho da Rua Florida, Galeria Pacífico e de uma cafeteria de renome chamada Florida Garden. O meu quarto era no quinto andar, compacto, mas tudo limpo e organizado, cama boa e confortável. O quarto da minha mãe era maior, no nono andar, bem espaçoso. Funcionários atenciosos, educados, a única crítica negativa que temos do hotel é a qualidade do café coado que se serve. Diferente dos cafés que tomamos na cidade, o sabor ficou a desejar. Talvez uma máquina de café expresso resolvesse essa questão, afinal o dia só começa após um bom café! ☕️ Fica a dica! ☕️

This hotel is advertised on many websites as a 4 star hotel with very high satisfaction rate. But don’t be fooled by beautiful entrance. Once you get into the elevator everything disappears and you are welcomed into the rooms that resembles of a hostel. The rooms are terribly small. But that is not what is bad. The rooms are extremely dirty. Grime is everywhere: bathtub, faucet’s, toilets…Just look at the pictures! But here is where it gets worse. On my son’s duvet, there is an old blood stain. I had to put 3 boys in one bed even though we booked a triple room. My pillow case wasn’t changed. It was dirty and there was somebody else’s hair on it. I immediately went to the front desk to ask for a clean pillow case. And even though staff speaks very little English (or in some cases no English at all) this is a conversation we had using google translate: - Hi, there is a dirty pillowcase on my pillow. Can I please get a fresh one? - No, I am sorry, the housekeeping is finished for the day (it was midnight). - That’s fine, I can change it myself but can you please give me a clean pillowcase? - I am sorry I can’t leave the front desk I am by myself. You have to wait until tomorrow morning. - And how am I going to sleep on a dirty pillow? - I am sorry there is nothing I can do until tomorrow morning. He finally told me to wait for a second and he will see what he can do after I asked him if he would sleep on a dirty pillow if it was him. 15 mins later he took me to a linens’ room where there was no pillowcases. I took one clean sheet and said I would wrap the pillow with it. If you can please avoid this place at all costs. You’ll pay premium price $150/night for a hostel experience. Unfortunately we booked 2 rooms for 5 nights and they won’t refund us, even though we wanted to leave immediately after getting into the rooms. Rooms are advertised with balconies, this one has none. Just dirty windows. I can stomach lots of things but sleeping on a dirty bed and in a dirty room- I cannot.

Espectacular servicio!! Desde la limpieza del hotel, la amabilidad del personal en general y las instalaciones!! Desayunos muy ricos y frescos, con reposición continua. Una estadía muy agradable!! Zona muy linda y segura. Restaurantes y locomoción cerca. Muchas gracias
