Hotel di Caceres

El hotel está situado a unos 15 min del centro histórico, las habitaciones matrimoniales son grandes y están bien equipadas, lo único que se hecha en falta algo más de insonorización ya que se escucha más el ruido de las habitaciones y de las chicas de limpieza que del exterior. El desayuno está muy bueno y variado además de las camareras y camareros ser muy serviciales y atentos. El parking tiene plazas dentro de la media en tamaño pero el precio me parece excesivo considerando que hay un parking público a 2 min que cuesta bastante menos.

The NH Collection hotel in Caceres was a great launching pad from which to experience the Holy Week processions. Central to most of the activity, everything was within walking distance. Friendly and helpful staff. Awesome breakfast buffet with fresh fruit and pastries was a good start to the day.

Las habitacion no estaba mal, pero la limpieza de la misma dejaba mucho que desear, el wc lo encontramos completamente meado al igual que un bar de mala muerte. Tras avisar a recepción nos dicen que van a mandar a una limpiadora mientras nosotros comemos, tras volver de comer habían limpiado un poco, solamente la tapa, pero seguía estando chorreado hasta abajo. Nuevo aviso a recepción y vuelve a pasar limpiadora que nos pide disculpas y nos dice que no es normal, limpiandolo un poco más a fondo pero nada del otro mundo, balleta en mano y a refregarla por todos lados. Hicimos uso del spa, que la verdad está un poco justo. La ubicación es buena, a pocos metros del centro.

Hemos estado el finde semana visitando Cáceres, está en las afueras y si no tienes coche el paseo del centro al hotel es d media hora y por un sendero bastante solo, que pasan sólo los coches, eso se debería de avisar y por lo demás, en cuanto al hotel la estancia genial, la recepcionista nos atendió muy amablemente e incluso nos recomendó sitios para pedir comida para llevarla a la habitación, ya que estábamos muy cansadas fue todo un acierto, las habitaciones muy bien acondicionadas, les falta un lavado de cara en cuanto a pintura y algún otro detalle y La iluminación de los pasillos tardan los sensores mucho en detectar el movimiento e impide acceder de noche rápidamente al ascensor, por el resto desayuno de buffet muy correcto y por 5€ es más que aceptable, volveríamos a ir e incluso lo recomiendo para los que quieran evadirse un poco del caos por el Womad

Stayed at Barcelo Caceres last night - what a delightful surprise-recommended by friend- tried this wonderful hotel on our way to south of Spain. Accommodation and service excellent! Dinner delicious and breakfast amazing! Departed this morning feeling our holiday had begun!! Will see you again Barcelo!!

Our 2nd visit to this hotel....the location is on the outskirts of Caceres but good access to the main roads and for touring the National Park close by! The twin room was spacious and with ensuite facilities, clean and comfortable! Parking can be underground with an extra charge or outside parking for free - some steps to negotiate! Staff were friendly and helpful with getting luggage to the room. The biggest major change was the new swimming pool and pool side restaurant!!! What a surprise! This gives choices to where you can eat without leaving the hotel. The hotel has a Spa but we did not visit this time! We chose to eat both nights at the new poolside restaurant as we could take our dog...the choices were interesting and the waiters, who spoke no English at all, were helpful and very jolly! One night there was a pianist!!! The tables overlook the pool and was lovely all lit up at night! Again we had lovely warm weather. All very enjoyable. Breakfast was excellent and again had outside seating....the waitress was very helpful, cheerful and friendly! We would stay again !!

Terrible overall experience!! The 'supreme' room was a joke! Our view of air conditioning pipes was ridiculous. We did not sleep a wink as the spring beds were literally the most uncomfortable bed ive ever slept on! There is NO privacy glass/frosted pane windows in the bathroom!!! Im sure that's illegal and an utter disgrace. We booked the hotel for an indoor pool. We asked the reception how we use it, she said it was off limits, full. i think we saw two people in the whole hotel!! To top it off, the shower was an absolute shocker, you have to run the water FOR 20 MINUTES, before it gets scalding hot, followed by freezing within 30 seconds.....and then hot again! 20 minutes of water wasted each use. Terrible. Who has 20mins to pre-plan a shower! Our 'breakfast' was a stale roll with slices of kiwi and a miniscule pot of margarine. Their only saving grace is the lovely lady who served us this abomination. For covid times, you'd think hotels would go the extra mile. This was quite the opposite

hotel que esta como a menos de 10 minutos andando de la zona monumental, completamente renovado, habitación amplia, y muy limpia, el coche puedes aparcarlo en la calle en zona azul que los festivos es gratis, la calidad precio es excelente, muy recomendable

Fabulous hotel, located in the centre of town with decent parking. Staff generally friendly and helpful, our room was very spacious and comfortable and the building has a fascinating history. We booked two nights half-board, reserving our table for dinner on both nights. The first night went smoothly, we turned up at the restaurant at the correct time, were shown to our table and had an excellent meal. The second night wasn't so good, we turned up at the restaurant at the correct time to be told we didn't have a reservation and the restaurant was full. We went back to reception where it was confirmed that we did have a reservation, they phoned through to the restaurant and told us that it was all sorted out. When we returned to the restaurant, we still had a 10 minute debate about whether or not we had a table, but a table was eventually found for us. We eventually placed our order an hour after our original reservation time. Unfortunately, there were two large tour groups that were clearly taking up all of the time of the kitchen and waiting staff. Both our main courses were cold, the fish was overcooked, the potatoes were undercooked and the veal fillet was so tough that it was inedible. Neither of us ate more than a couple of mouthfuls, and were surprised when no-one asked what the problem was when two almost untouched meals were cleared away. If we had the same experience in the restaurant on the second night as we had on the first, this would probably have been a 5-star review, but the problems of getting a table even though we had a reservation, and then the appalling main courses has resulted in a significant downgrading. Would we stay in this hotel again? Yes, almost certainly, but we would probably choose to eat elsewhere.
