"Good weekend away at Pine lake. Visited several times before. Check in staff friendly and helpful. Just one comment, it would have been nice to have had fresh towels brought to us, as we stayed three nights. This did not happen though. Would stay there again though."

"The Red Dragon is a traditional pub with rooms. We enjoyed a one night stay on a dinner, bed and breakfast rate. Our room was stylish and comfortable with added extras like the coffee sachets provided. Typical pub menu but we enjoyed the home made fish cakes and the sea bass main. Good choice of ales on tap. Tasty breakfast. No car park on site but low cost public parking is a 5 minute walk away. Service was a little mixed with one member of staff not really enjoying their job but others were friendly and welcoming. Overall we had an enjoyable experience."

"Amazing overnight stay in the Parisian Suite, the decor was fabulous, the bed was so comfortable!! I wanted to purchase the same quilt and pillows. Great smart lighting and the TVs disguised as artwork was brilliant, bath had a tv also. Located right in the centre of town Kirby Lonsdale was very picturesque. Will be back again, and would highly recommend staying for the weekend."

"We often go in for drinks and really like the bar but on this occasion we decided to eat with the family. Ordered a chicken burger got a beef burger. After a 40 minute wait (the bar wasn't busy) our meals arrived but were very dried up the buns stale, the cheese & bacon hard. The tomato & basil soup was like tomato puree. The staff were apologetic and knocked £9 off the bill & gave the kids free desserts but the bill was still £59 for a very bad meal."

"On arrival we were met by Jessica who helped us with our bags and car parking nearby. Jessica showed us to our room (8) in the loft. The room is large, well appointed with plenty of light but due to vaulted ceiling my movement was restricted somewhat. The bed was very comfortable however and I slept well. Dinner was fabulous. I opted for Duck Croquettes and Tuna Nicoise, my wife for Korean Beef and Poulet Farci and both were delicious. After wine we opted for Espresso Martinis and they were really nice. Breakfast, cooked to order after excellent Granola and fruit compot, was also great and served with a smile and a kind word by Kathleen. All in all we enjoyed our time there and would highly recommended Platos."
