"What can I say??? I was apprehensive over the price and would it live up to it? I can honestly say it was worth every penny & more. 5 star for decor, loved the boon of how the rooms were inspired. 5 star bed, pillows, comfort etc 5 star for space 5 star for detail and everything in the room 5 star for cleanliness I would not change anything & nothing needs to change in our room, The Oasis. I love the personal text messages for greeting, leaving & being on hand if we need anything! This was our 1st night after our wedding day & it is 1 we will never forget! Im lucky to sleep for 5 hours and in that Bed we slept for 11 hours 🙈 Thank you so much & we are already looking to revisit for our 1st anniversary!"

"This is a truly beautiful and wonderful place! Whether you're looking to relax and unwind or enjoy a vacation, I highly recommend it! The hotel grounds are expansive, and the accommodations are situated around a stunning large lake. The room's facilities and kitchenware were spotless and very comfortable. The hotel staff were also very friendly and welcoming. Two days simply wasn't enough! I will definitely be back next time!"

"Handy to have services next door for late/ early snacks etc. entrance/exit is N bound only, but I believe there is some sort of access to the hotel via a service road. Pottery mugs, not glass, no noisy bar issues, Functional, clean & well aired. Some good pubs nearby, Levens Hall Cafe for brunch, & a good chippy & pubs at Arnside if don't mind a drive. "

We stayed for two nights in a clean comfortable room which we used as a base to relax and see the local area by way of two lovely walks fueled each morning by an excellent breakfast.
