"Lovely hotel and a beautiful room. At no point were we told there was a charge for the spa. It was agreed on departure that we should have bene told and the fee would be waived. However, my card was charged. This is absolutely unacceptable. The hotel are now being unresponsive in my request to have the charge refunded."

"The welcome was excellent, the staff friendly. We had a quiet room with a view of the garden and the rabbits! At first glance, the room was perfectly adequate, but the bathroom was clearly a bit dated... The shower wasn't clean (20 cm hairs on the floor, quite dusty, and the shower drain was clogged with hair). Aside from that, the bedding was very comfortable, and we slept well. The breakfast was varied and delicious (the homemade cake was a particular highlight!)."

"Pretty good, I prefer toast in the morning and not cottage cheese. Fresh orange juice would be a nice addition, but otherwise, no particular problems. The €8.50 parking is convenient. Your photo is misleading because you show a room with a terrace, which isn't the case, so that's a demerit for Trip!"

"We spent one night in this hotel and it was a terrible experience. The heating was not working at all, while the outside temperature was below zero. Cold air was blowing directly from the air-conditioning unit, making the room freezing and extremely noisy. The night was unbearable. When we reported the issue to the staff, we specifically asked whether this was normal. We were told that the heating system simply needed time to warm up. We left for dinner and came back more than an hour later, only to find the room still just as cold. Had we been informed from the beginning that the heating would not work properly, we would have changed hotels immediately. Unfortunately, by the time we returned after dinner, it was too late to find another hotel, especially with a young child. Considering the price we paid, these conditions are completely unacceptable. No solution was offered, and despite requesting a refund or at least a commercial gesture, nothing was done. This was our first time staying in a B&B Hotels property, and it will also be the last. I will never stay in a B&B Hotels again."

"The receptionist was very friendly during check-in! However, the room was poorly soundproofed; I could clearly hear the neighbors talking and watching TV, making it impossible to sleep. I wanted to complain, but there was no one at the front desk. It was incredibly frustrating! There was also no hairdryer!"

"Very nice deluxe Maison d’Hôtes in the city center of Chartres. All city high lights and restaurants at a walking distance. Breakfast was well organized and could be enjoyed at any time in the morning. Room but specially the bathroom was very spacious and well utilized. Only downside is the lack of private parking and busy public parking on the roads around the Maison."

"We had to haul our bags over cobblestones and up a long flight of stairs. We were admitted by codes and passwords and never saw another person during our stay. We tried four times to contact the host because we needed some help and never had a response. It is supposed to be a bed and breakfast, but there was no breakfast. Worst of all, we had no internet and no cell service so we had no possible way of communicating. We could not even make a phone call."
