"Ben hotel is tucked into a quiet side street off a main thoroughfare. It's got easy access to the bar street and the river park that also houses the Zunyi Conference Site. There are many restaurants and cafes nearby and getting to and from the hotel by taxi or Didi is very easy. The hotel itself is small and intimate. There are photos of old Zunyi all around and the lobby has lots of interesting art. There IS a gym on the fifth floor with a couple of treadmills, some weights, a giant couch. There is no bar and the restaurant only functions for breakfast. The restaurant directly next to the hotel was incredibly accommodating for a solo traveler who didn't want to buy five people's worth of food and create tons of waste, and they had a good selection of food. The room is large and well decorated. The couch is comfortable and well-broken in. The table is sturdy and the chair is nice. The bed is quite comfortable and they have hangers and places to place your luggage. The bathroom separates the toilet and the shower and the sink area is large and clean. They have a hair dryer and simple amenities with a qr code if you need anything else. I liked the soaps, shampoo and conditioner a lot. I stayed on the 6th floor and the shower had decent pressure and didn't take long to warm up. It's also decently tall."

"Hotel is located right across Suzhou Road which is the livelier part of the city. Tons of food options closeby but the hotel includes a wide range of choices for breakfast, afternoon tea and even supper which is good. Hotel services are 5 stars they even help with laundry for free which is very convenient and even packed them nicely with little notes from the housekeeper. Housekeeper is super lovely she noticed i love coffee And gave extra with a lovely handwritten notes. Everyone in the hotel is super helpful and lovely. Definitely deserve more than 5 stars!"

" Out of the 8 hotels that we have stayed so far for this trip to Guizhou, we found this hotel to be the most outstanding in terms of service especially the staff during the morning breakfast.  She was very knowledgeable in introducing the specialties of food in Zunyi that was served.  She even went to the extend of introducing the park that has the blooming cherry blossom. The varieties of food served during breakfast was great. Breakfast served on the top floor was great too. The room was also very comfortable.  Toiletries like body wash, shampoo, body lotion, etc were all with natural plant iingredients."

"It was our second time stay this hotel. definitely best hotel in zunyi . They upgraded our room to that had best views. Great location. breakfast was great. . Lots restaurants and shops in walking distance. Gym equipment are awesome. service was great. Friendly staff 小王 小吴 always helpful. Gave us ice for drinks anytime we need and also free laundry service . Highly recommend and definitely book with them again. Thank you so much 😍😍"

"The greatest strength of this hotel is undoubtedly its staff. Despite language barriers, everyone we encountered was friendly, patient and genuinely eager to help. A special mention must go to the hotel manager, who went far beyond what could reasonably be expected. When we were struggling with transport arrangements, he personally offered assistance and ultimately drove us to the train station himself. Only afterwards did we discover that he was actually the hotel manager, not a driver. He refused any payment and demonstrated a level of hospitality and generosity that left a lasting impression on our family. The staff also helped us order food delivery using local apps that were difficult for us as foreign visitors to navigate, communicating through translation apps whenever necessary. The hotel is conveniently located beside the Olympic Sports Centre, which was ideal for our visit to the Asian Gymnastics Championships. The rooms were spacious and clean. However, there were several aspects of the stay that prevented it from feeling truly comfortable. The surrounding area felt unusually quiet, with many restaurants and commercial spaces appearing closed, giving parts of the district a somewhat deserted atmosphere. Dining options were limited, and finding lunch or dinner nearby was often challenging. The rooms, while large, had relatively small windows, which meant there was not much natural light. The air conditioning sometimes struggled to keep the room as cool as we would have liked, and the hot water supply was inconsistent. The beds were extremely firm, and each guest was provided with only one fairly hard pillow. Some travellers may appreciate a very firm mattress, but we found it a little uncomfortable for a longer stay. Also, we were only provided with 2 bath towels even though there were 3 of us sharing a room. Overall, this is a hotel with exceptional staff and a convenient location for events at the Sports Centre. While the accommodation itself fell short of our expectations in several areas, the kindness and professionalism of the staff left us with positive memories of our visit."

"The good: excellent bed. Very comfortable sleeping. The Aircon was very strong. The woman at thee front desk was diligent. It’s close to the station. I like soybean milk at breakfast. The bad: the WiFi was terrible. My room also didn’t have an outward window and was facing a weird void space in the building instead. This meant that even my phone data was slow that deep into the building. The window can’t really be opened for fresh air because it shares it with other guests and if someone uses it for smoking it floods your room. The building is strange because there’s lots of airy open hallways with windows but my room was so dark lol. The price was cheap and the bed/sleep was good, so that’s like 80% of a hotel’s score but man that building is strange. Also the neighborhood is unfortunately not very prosperous, the area seems to be overbuilt for the amount of business it actually sees so there are many empty storefronts, hopefully this will improve in time. I guess in summary I wasn’t unhappy, but if I went back to Zunyi I would look at other options first."

"住過杭州、千島湖、餘姚四明湖的開元名都酒店，這次去遵義毫不猶豫也訂了開元名都，仍然是同樣的水準。酒店很大，有小童樂園和球場等運動區，還有游泳池和健身房，地下停車場很方便。酒店在天鵝湖東面，和西面的遵義市政府隔湖相望，從房間望出去風景非常漂亮，清晨或者黃昏時在湖邊散步很舒服。因為是旅遊旺季，早餐的客人較多，但是菜品補充很快，品種也較多，有一些當地美食值得品嚐。雖然酒店開業較久，但是房間設施依然很好，訂的豪華湖景房無論是房間還是衞生間都非常大，設施用起來很方便，還專門配了一次性馬桶墊和浴缸套。酒店的服務一流，無論入住還是退房辦理都很快；客服服務很貼心，入住後還有送水果。因為天熱，喝水較多，客房服務發現後主動補了很多礦泉水，還熱心留言説如果需要的話隨時聯繫，真的有賓至如歸的感覺。酒店在新區，雖然離遵義會議會址等老城區景點有些距離，但開車過去道路很好，非常方便。酒店附近不遠的地方有美食廣場，各種當地美食都有。"

"這次入住體驗非常不錯，酒店乾淨整潔，房間温馨舒適，床品睡得很舒服，早餐是自助早餐，品種齊全，有粉，麪，等等，哨子也是好幾種，可以自己搭配，簡直完美，還有免費的健身房，健身房還有專業的教練，前台工作人員服務熱情有禮貌，辦理入住效率很高，有問題及時處理。衞生做得很到位，設施齊全，地理位置也很方便，出門對面就是美食街，對我們晚上喜歡喝點夜啤酒的來説，簡直完美，整體性價比很高，下次過來還會選擇這家，推薦大家入住！"
