After a long day hiking, all I could thing of was to get a shower and a nice cold drinks. Once I got in town I did a quick search and had a gut feeling that the Agaro would be nice. The pictures looked very good; I even wondered whether they were too nice to be true. Well, I was not disappointed in the least. I was given a wonderful superior room on the fourth floor. I was large and modern, and, what was important to me, quiet. There was a bar/restaurant with a la carte service and another restaurant with a buffet. I didn’t really feel like having an a la carte dinner, so I went for the buffet, which was very convenient. There was also a buffet breakfast. What I particularly liked was the proximity to the wonderful beach. That was soooooo nice! I would definitely stay there again.

El hotel tiene una ubicación inmejorable a 50 metros de la playa de la Regla y con vistas al santuario desde todas partes. La zona de la piscina es preciosa y agradable, aunque la piscina es extremadamente pequeña y tiene un horario incomprensible para carecer de socorrista (de 13 a 19h en pleno agosto). El desayuno es tipo buffet y aunque es humilde tiene un poquito de todo está muy bien. La comida de mediodía es mejor no contratarla, la calidad precio no es muy acertada. Las habitaciones son grandes aunque están tb anticuadas, es como si le faltara mantenimiento. Moquetas viejas, ascensor muy lento, cables por las paredes, televisión que se ven pocos canales, los aires acondicionados no funcionaban del todo bien... Unas habitaciones nos tocaron con balcón de 10m2 y otras a duras penas cabía una silla... El personal super agradable, la limpieza justita. Hemos estado a gusto pero la calidad es más o menos de hostal, no para el precio que tiene. No repetiremos.

A nice hotel, nice room and good beds. Large swimming pool with lots of space and plenty of beds around it. You are on the beach in no time, but that is a public beach and therefore no beds from the hotel. In fact, no beds at all. Environment also beautiful. However, there are also points for improvement. Long wait at check-in due to understaffing at the reception and then also two people who do unclear other things. I would say: get rid of those rows first. The same goes more or less for the bar. Towards the end of the dinner, everyone goes that way, but at the bar only one employee. Planning could be better. Another point is the languages spoken. That is actually only Spanish and sometimes with difficulty some German or English. This may be due to the fact that there are a lot of Spaniards here. There is also a lot to be paid in cash (bicycle rental, deposit for beach towels). Great food, kudos to Gustavo behind the wok.

Llegamos para el GP ESPAÑA jerez 2023 de Moto GP. La reserva fue del viernes 28 al lunes 01, pero por horarios prácticamente pagamos 1 día para nada, porque llegamos a las 2am del sábado y nos fuimos a las 4am del lunes. Solicitamos un picnic para compensar el desayuno del lunes, pero nadie nos cogió el teléfono durante el domingo estando fuera del hotel (nos dijeron que avisáramos), pues tras muchos intentos fue imposible. La joven de recepción no nos pudo dar solución sino un ”lo siento”. Limpieza 10, atención amable pero faltó ese detalle de compensar un poco con el cliente los malos horarios compatibles con el hotel.

El hotel está fabuloso ( aunque sea invierno), con las animaciones activas y demás funciones como si fuese verano. A mí familia y a mí nos ha encantado y eso que mis hijas no han podido disfrutar de la piscina exterior, en verano tiene que ser una maravilla. La verdad es que cada vez que vamos a un hotel Playa salimos super contentos. Las comidas estaban bien, pero las cenas de 10. Me ha faltado estar un par de días más para poder disfrutar 100 %. Por poner un pero es que las bebidas alcohólicas fuera del todo incluido son un poco caras.
