"Easy to locate as it is probably the most prominent building in Choshi. Parking was usually full and so had to park at paid parking behind (500 yen for 24 hours). Clean spacious room. Onsite onsen was a plus. Breakfast spread was good. Will stay here again"

"The scenery was fantastic, and the food was great. The hotel was very thoughtful, listing the sunrise time for the day and offering group bus tours. The overall experience was very relaxing. The bus departs daily at 5 PM and takes everyone to several famous tourist attractions. I was initially thinking it was too far to walk there, but thanks to the hotel, I witnessed this absolutely stunning sunset. Because it was a sunset, the background was actually the nearby Byokagura (屏風ヶ浦) attraction. For a moment, I felt like I was in Southeast Asia, hahaha."

"The room is very spacious and comfortable. It is divided into a living room and a bedroom. Through the living room, you can see the sea and Inubozaki Lighthouse in the distance. After eating in the morning, we went to catch the sea. The beach was covered with kelp and seaweed washed ashore by the sea. There were elderly people While picking up seaweed, I went up to chat and asked if picking up seaweed would infringe on the rights of fishermen, so he was called the police. The old man said that if he couldn't go into the sea to pick up the fish that washed ashore, he could take it home. Now greedy thoughts came to his mind, and he picked up a lot of seaweed. Satisfied with the craving for free food..., dinner and breakfast were both very sumptuous. I couldn't eat the desserts and packed them up in the room before forcefully stuffing them into my mouth at noon the next day. The hotel has electric frequency-assisted bicycles for rent. We spent 1,500 yen in two hours to circle around the Choshi Peninsula. We smelled the aroma of soy sauce on the way and suddenly realized that soybeans are abundant here. This area not only has delicious seafood, but also has many factories. Agriculture is also very developed. The famous soy sauce brand Matsu factory is located here. When we passed by by bicycle, we just missed the time period for visiting the soy sauce factory. We will leave our regrets for next time. Please remember that the time period is 11:00 every day. and 13:30, free to visit."

"It's neither good nor bad. The room is clean and simple, with minimal furniture. It depends on the room, but the shower temperature seems difficult to adjust and there is a water leak from the joint with the shower. The toilet is loud when flushing. Breakfast is served buffet style, but the variety seems to be limited. The curry served is a rare seafood curry. There is a wide variety of breads. "The building is old, so it has a slightly old-fashioned, unique smell. There's no air conditioning in the dining area or elevator, which is tolerable for adults, but children get hot and restless. The photo of the triple room showed one large bed and one single bed, so we booked one room and then requested a single room with one bed. However, if we had known the rooms had tatami mats and we'd be sleeping on futons, we would have preferred just one room for everyone. It's more lively when everyone's together. The food was delicious. The pool and hot springs were nice. I wish the pool was a little bigger. That's all."

"I came to Choshi alone. Remember to check the Inubozaki Electric Railway schedule before arriving at your guesthouse. This train is a one-hour journey, and if you miss it, you'll have to wait a long time. However, Choshi is much cooler than Tokyo, so you won't be drenched in sweat while waiting for the train in the summer. There are two microwaves on the second floor to heat up your bento boxes. I recommend buying your bento at the local market in front of Choshi Station; they sell microwaveable bento boxes and you can also grab some soy sauce ice cream there! 🤤 Before confirming your itinerary, remember to check Yahoo Weather, especially the wave and fog warnings. If these warnings are in effect, it will be difficult to take good photos of the beach. The streets get very dark at night, and the beach path isn't lit. If you want to take night photos, I suggest doing so before 8 PM. The guesthouse has a slightly "Showa era" feel and a "vintage" vibe. The owner is very welcoming and easy to talk to, speaks English, and can use a mobile phone translator if you don't understand any Japanese."
