"Location is relatively convenient with buses 6, 10 and 11 nearby which go to Chur Bahnhof. You can get the chur guest card from the reception for free public transport for the duration of your stay. There's a mall with a large coop next door which is useful. Room was comfortable with a good view of the mountains. Thermostat can only be configured from +1.5 degrees to -1.5 degrees. Staff are friendly and helpful"

"The location was further then anticipated. The room was exactly the same as shown in the ads. Though yhe room we had selected was tiny, it was clean and the attached bathroom was big However, the glass panel sitting on top of the side of bathtub isn't fixed, making getting in and out of the tub unsafe, as the glass panel is the only element that one could hold on to in order to step out of the tub. The receptionists weren't too interested in attenting to hotel guests. But, overall experience was elevated due to its design/structure uniqueness; an ex-jail building. It's communal kitchen and lounge space were great space where we'd spent some of our time. There were also a lot of common shower rooms and WCs within the building, which was great as the 4 of us needn't queue for the washroom especially in the early morning."

"We stayed here for one night and had an enjoyable stay. Upon arrival the staff were very friendly and spoke great English. They gave us both a bottle of water and a guest card that let us ride the bus for free (theres a stop just outside the hotel). The hotel is laid out like an American motel which we quite liked. The room had enough space and everything we needed. The bed was comfortable and the shower was powerful. We only had 2 minor downsides. The first being the walls are quite thin which wouldn't have been too much off an issue but at around 6am the person in the room next door was vomiting which wasn't pleasant to hear. The second was the bathroom door isn't solid so let light from the bathroom window into the main bedroom area."

"We spent one night one at this hotel to catch the Bernina Express. The hotel is a 10 minute walk from the train station and close to supermarkets. The hotel staff are very friendly and helpful. The bathroom was extremely clean. Breakfast was great with a good spread of pastries, cereals fruit and the usual eggs/bacon etc. This hotel was a perfect overnight stay for the Bernina express."

"Terrific place. It has a format of a motel so can park your car in front of the room but the room was rather a hotel style: good size, nice bathroom, lots of amenities. They have a very good restaurant where making a reservation is a good idea. We went there for lunch and it was full. The staff are absolutely wonderful, helpful, amicable. The location is very good, close to the highway and about a mile from the old town. To get there you have to drive to a large parking lot on your right (CHF0.5 ph) and then walk some 200 meters to the old town."
