Hotel terbaik di Chur

We chose this modern ABC 4* hotel for its location across the road from the railway station and for its wheelchair facilities. It is never easy finding accessible accommodation and a lot of research is required before booking to get what you hope is the best available. We were very impressed after a long tiring travelling day to find a flat hotel entrance, helpful informative reception staff and a modern lift to our deluxe room on the 6th floor. The quiet room was very spacious with large windows and a lovely view of mountains - not a murmur of traffic! The mattress was particularly comfortable. The bathroom was perfect for the disabled and wheelchair user with a barrier free washbasin and a wet room shower. So easy to get wrong but this hotel obviously knew what they needed to do! The breakfast was superb with attentive friendly service on both days. Chur was the first stop on our 11 day holiday and the hotel ABC comes highly recommended for all disabled guests.

The hotel was well located and our room was well appointed and reasonably spacious. The staff were excellent with a particular mention for the reception staff who were very helpful. Our disappointment was the room location. The corridor to our room was used as a storage area for chairs and on occasions catering and cleaning equipment. However the main problem was noise. The room above appeared to be used as a communal area and whilst the noise wasn’t excessive it did last on occasions until midnight and started again at 5 am. The footsteps etc. were generally not loud enough to wake you in a deep sleep but annoying enough to stop you going back to sleep once awake. If we do stay again would definitely be choosy about the room offered.

Hotel was located farther from the train station than i expected, and was on a seemingly quiet street. wasn't quite the case as a regular stream of loud people walking and chattering late into the night could be heard in the room. very hot season so windows had to be kept wide open as sweating inside. There was one instance of ringing of bells for like 15 min non-stop on a Sun night, not sure why. Fortunately not repeated while there, the hourly ones were short. Has to be said this was the best price I could find within the vicinity, room and toilet facilities were basic but decent. Be warned though, other than shops in the train station, absolutely nothing was open on Sunday including restaurants. Not an exciting town to see either. Bring instant noodles if you must stay.....

Sebagai tempat transit keluar masuk pergunungan, hotel di Chur ini sangat sesuai. Kakitangannya bersemangat, perkhidmatannya profesional, keadaan kebersihan hotel sangat baik, dan biliknya cukup besar. Jika ia adalah penginapan sementara satu malam sebelum pergi ke gunung, ia sangat sesuai. Keadaan perkakasan adalah sederhana, tetapi kerana ia adalah hotel transit, keperluannya tidak begitu tinggi. Sebagai bandar purba pertama di Switzerland, Chur masih mempunyai daya tarikan yang istimewa. Adalah baik untuk menghabiskan setengah hari berjalan-jalan. Di samping itu, kanton Graubingen, di mana Chur terletak, sangat disyorkan. Setakat ini, tidak ramai pelancong China pergi bermain ski pada musim sejuk dan mendaki pada musim panas. Terdapat Bernina Express dan Glacier Express untuk duduk, dan anda juga boleh pergi ke asal Rhine untuk melihat ngarai dan mendaki. Zurich juga selesa pada masa lalu.

An old hotel in the quaint area of Chur. The reception is very small when checking in. The room was quite a good size fairly basic. The bed was two twins pushed together. It was comfortable and the bedding clean and warm. There was reasonable storage. Tv had English channels but the signal was poor. Free wifi. The plug sockets were difficult to access as they were under the bedside tables near the floor. There was a dressing table but no mirror for make up or hair etc. The bathroom was very dated but although the shower was old it was very hot. The breakfast was very basic. The restaurant served good evening meals with large portions . I do think there should be nonslip mats in the bath

LOCATION: Zunfthaus zur Rebleuten is conveniently located at Pfisterplatz 1, most places of interest are within easy walking distance. Chur Station is about 600m away and can be reached on foot in under 10 minutes. If arriving on public transport, go down Bahnhofstrasse after you exit from station, continue onto Grabenstrasse followed by Nicolaigasse till you reach Kornplatz, turn in at Herrengasse and you will find Zunfthaus zur Rebleuten facing the Pfister fountain. This route goes along the periphery of Old Town pedestrian zone, thus avoiding the hassle of dragging unwieldy suitcases over cobblestoned streets as you’d be on level ground or pavement for most of the way. OVERVIEW: The historic building was originally a guildhall dating back to 1464, it has since been refurbished and converted into a small independent inn. This quaint property is steeped in history and full of quirks: the sloping floors, crooked walls, slanting ceilings and exposed wooden beams all add to its authenticity and charm! ROOM: Each of the 13 rooms has its own unique layout and décor – not all have ensuite facilities so be sure to check the room description when booking online. Classic Twin Room was clean and simply furnished with twin beds; pair of bedside tables & reading lamps; wall-mounted TV over a small desk with lamp & chair; wardrobe; and full-length mirror on wall. Tower Fan came in handy during the summer heatwave. BATHROOM: Retro ‘70s style but clean and adequate in size. Furnished with the usual mirror over wash basin, shower stall and toilet. Faint odour in bathroom at times but not pervasive nor unbearable – perhaps some issues with drainage or plumbing? Shower Stall might be a tight fit for guests of larger build but such compact size is quite normal by Swiss standards, especially in older buildings. There was good water pressure and plentiful hot water. Clean bath linen, toilet rolls, box of tissues and basic toiletries e.g. liquid soap provided. F&B: Breakfast Service is 7:30-10:30 and served in Zunftsaal, a traditional dining room with terrace on the 1st floor. Buffet breakfast comprises small selection of breads with jams & butter, cereals and fruits. Assorted cheeses and cold cuts are available on request. Eggs are prepared à la minute according to your preference. Beverage choices include orange juice, milk, tea & coffee. Situated next to the Reception is Zunftstube, a member of the Swiss Gilde of Established Restaurants. Guests can enjoy innovative cuisine made with fresh produce as well as excellent service & ambiance here. Closed on Tuesdays and only Dinner Service for Wed~Sat. El sitio es súper original, una cárcel restaurada, en el patio hay bicis, un restaurante y unas vistas chulísimas de la torre y las montañas. Está a 10 minutos de la estación de trenes, se llega fácilmente andando. Las habitaciones son compartidas, al menos la que cogimos nosotros, con 2 literas. Las camas son muy cómodas y todo está muy limpio. Dentro de la habitación hay un pequeño aseo. En cada planta hay unas 3 habitaciones, que comparten cocina común y un baño más grande con ducha. Llegamos muy tarde y nos fuimos muy temprano, por lo que no pudimos coincidir con el staff, pero por vía online fueron majísimos y atentos. Los chicos del restaurante, que son ajenos al albergue, fueron muy amables ayudándonos a encontrar la habitación, ya que el equipo del albergue ya no estaba. Me encantaría volver para quedarme varios días!

A clean and basic hotel. Which is quite easy to reach from the train station via a very efficient bus/tram ( runs every 10 minutes, catch the red one to get to the old town/station). The man on reception was exceptionally friendly and helpful. Gave us our welcome drinks. Sadly the only food on offer was frozen pizza ( not his fault) so we ended up having Maccas next door which is not my favourite food. I am sure there were other nearby choices but it was getting late and this was a stop between 2 big train journeys so we didn't want to go far. Comfortable bed and good shower. Large balcony with views to the mountains behind the hotel. Quiet. Very weird that there was only 1 power point! In this day and age that is very poor as everything you use needs charging. If there was another power point it was impossible to find. Breakfast had a reasonable range of choices.

Stayed here for one night in between trips on the Bernina Express and the Glacier Express. Whilst surrounded by spectacular mountains, the hotel is situated in a soulless commercial area about 2 minutes west of central Chur by train. There is half hourly train service to / from the centre of Chur (which I found similarly lacking in charm). Finding the entrance to the hotel on arrival at Chur West was not that easy, and improved signage from the station would be helpful for first time visitors. If you are travelling with luggage expect a fair walk uphill and some steps along the way. The adjacent shopping centre looked functional enough albeit that, like 99% of businesses in Switzerland, it was closed on our arrival early on a Saturday evening and all day on the Sunday. The hotel itself occupies the first 9 floors of a tower block which I think may have had residential properties or offices above it. The small lobby area was pleasant enough and our check in was smooth, courteous and polite. The room itself was clean and simply furnished, and it offered a fridge, a coffee maker, plenty of power sockets and a decent shower. Breakfast offered a good variety of items but sometimes in modest quantities, probably reflecting the fact that we seemed to be the only guests dining there on the Sunday morning. Some items were sadly of poor quality (the croissants had a dreadfully fatty taste rather than a buttery flavour) and some were poorly prepared (fleshy, fatty bacon is most undesirable). Whilst it was included in our room rate, the walk in cost of breakfast seemed eye-wateringly high given the shortcomings we experienced. Overall, as I’m unlikely to return to Chur I’d be unlikely to stay here again. If I knew anyone visiting the city I’d be unlikely however to recommend the hotel based on my experience which was nothing more than average.
