"the hotel was great value for the price and has a few excellent points. Location is easy to get to the airport and ok for the winter attractions. Rooms are nice, though are showing their age. The facilities (gym/pool) we decided to avoid; they don't offer the resort or relaxation of other five star hotels. Food was consistently good and the club lounge is easily one of the best decors I've found. The service was consistently good from checkin especially. I would stay here again if Im in Harbin, but I would stress that I have allergies to try and get a real smoke-free room (our bathroom....)"

"We had an extremely pleasant stay! The hotel location is very convenient, close to Central Street and Saint Sophia Cathedral. The room we stayed in had two bedrooms, which was perfect for our family. The room features a large window facing the street, which could be a minor issue for light sleepers, but earplugs easily solve that. A huge thanks to 花姐 (Ms. Hua), who was always available to assist us. The entire staff went out of their way to make us feel welcome, which truly made our trip to Harbin memorable for everyone!"

"I am writing to express my dissatisfaction with a recent issue I encountered during my stay. I booked a room through Trip.com for 6 nights from December 27, 2025, to January 2, 2026. However, I mistakenly booked a single bed instead of a double bed. (Just only 1 more night on 2 January to 3 January ) When I tried to address this issue with your staff, I was only informed that I would need to pay an additional amount to make the change. With not helping and no service mind. Even if i asked to talk to your manager at first time but i got denied. Actually, on December 29th, I had already booked the room and paid for the breakfast, but I did not use either service. I never intended to ask for a refund. However, on other days when I used the breakfast service, I was still charged as usual, even though you could have helped me by waiving the charges for the day I did not use the service. I never requested anything else, but simply sought to correct the booking error by changing from a single bed to a double bed. I have stayed at various Ritz-Carlton locations, and this experience has been the most disappointing in terms of service and staff handling. After my initial request to speak with a manager was denied, the manager eventually came to speak with me but offered no solution other than to cancel the reservation. This is not the level of customer service I expected. When I requested to speak with a manager, my request was denied. This level of service is unacceptable and very disappointing. I kindly request that you look into this matter and take appropriate action to address the service shortcomings. Thank you for your attention to this matter."

"Super value for money and recommend this place. Modern and clean, spacious room Short ride from main railway station Daily free water bottle, daily house keeping. Breakfast is plenty, lots of choices and different menu everyday. Laundry room with full amenities for free usage, including detergent. Places to eat at nearby. Receptionists are welcoming. Free tanghulu upon arrival. Only thing is heating in winter January is not as warm in the room ( which is also the same in general in china).But the blankets are so warm. Pillow is also on soft side Overall, it's super value for money and definitely recommend it."
