"The room was cramped and oppressive, with rather low ceilings. The window overlooked the neighboring building, just a meter away, making the room uncomfortably dark. The ventilation hadn't been serviced in a long time, and there were large clumps of dust on it. There was someone else's hair on the table. The plumbing was old. I was glad I only stayed there for one night."

"Hotel is 5 mins walk from Machida Station east exit (Odakyu line). Rooms is clean though is small size, comes with a small fridge. Hot water is instantaneous and bath tub is deep enough for soaking. Additional toilet amenities are available at lobby. Wifi is good. Lots of eateries and shops nearby. Opposite the hotel a very delicious ramen shop open till late night."

"Not far from the station, and there are so many restaurants nearby. There are more convenience stores than in Shanghai, and they're much bigger. It's integrated with the public library, and the room size is much larger than typical Japanese rooms. I stayed on the 12th floor, and there was even an ice machine right by the elevator, which was super convenient!"

"My previous hotel had some issues, so I booked Toyoko Inn Machida-eki Minami on short notice. To my surprise, the location was excellent! It's super close, just across an underground passage from Minami-Machida Station. Shopping, shopping, shopping is incredibly convenient here; you could easily spend a whole day just browsing. As always, the hotel was very clean, and the breakfast was delicious."
