"The owner was very, very friendly. After eating at the Xizhi table on the night of the check-in, he drove back to the hotel under heavy rain and used it. It took more than twice to return. It was more than 11 o'clock when we arrived. The owner had fallen asleep. We rang the bell to wake her up to take the key. I was really very, very sorry, but the owner did not lose his temper and clearly told us what we should pay attention to. It was really professional and I appreciated it very much. The opportunity to go to Seed Island is a very worthwhile accommodation to consider."

"Great place to stay if you are travelling through Tanegashima and are spending time in or around Minamitane. Many good restaurants are within walking distance, and the owner was very nice, providing helpful tips for travelling around Tanegashima. The backyard is also a great place to do some stargazing, and the room I had was able to head directly to it. Breakfast served was also very good; a homestyle japanese style breakfast."

Tanegashima Space Center is a 26-minute drive away while Kumano Beach can be reached with a 40-minute drive. Guests can savor home-made dishes prepared with fresh local ingredients at the dining area. A characteristic Japanese breakfast consisting of grilled fish, rice and miso soup is served for breakfast. Some rooms are fitted with tatami (woven-straw) flooring and feature Japanese futon bedding, while others come with wooden floors and beds. Amenities including towels and toothbrushes can be purchased on site. Hairdryers, laundry facilities and a refrigerator is available for use at an extra charge.

"I think it is a good hotel. It was a hideaway hotel that made me get lost at first because it was on a narrow road from Prefectural Road 586. At night, the starry sky is beautiful because there is no light around, which is very impressive. As the name suggests, the facilities have many wood decorations and you want to take pictures. There are places where insects are easy to enter because they are surrounded by nature, but it is close to Tanegashima Space Center and I think it is a recommended hotel."

"The chicken rice for breakfast was delicious. The sea view is wonderful. There was no drinking water pet in the refrigerator. It would be nice if it was also at the front desk with the menu images for breakfast and dinner."
