Overall, the place is great to refresh your mind together with the family. A nice place to visit in the weekends or holidays. Located in a mountainous place, Eden Nature Park really has a great view of the surrounding areas. Aside from the great view, there are also activities you can try or just watch from the sidelines. Just try to go there earlier in the morning as it gets hot there at around 10-11am and there are a lot of tourist there. Overall, the place is great to refresh your mind together with the family
I had a short 2-night stay at this hotel in a King Bed Presidential Suite. Cost was Php3,500 per night. They do offer cheaper rooms so offer great value. Room was large with a fish tank and a large bathroom with a separate bath and shower. Air-conditioning worked well. Room was clean and spacious. The room had a small balcony with views of Peoples Park. Location was great with walking distance to bars and restaurants. Breakfast was included but very limited and catered more to the local market. I only had scrambled eggs, toast and a cup of coffee each morning which was enough to start the day.

We had a great stay and the staff were accommodating. We are very satisfied of the breakfast they served. But they need to improved the cleanliness of the room, there are lots of small cockroaches.
I had an amazing stay at this place! The host was extremely accommodating and responsive, answering all my queries and questions in real-time. The place itself exceeded my expectations - it's clear that the host has put thought into providing everything you might need, unlike any other rental space I've stayed at, which often lacks basic amenities. The place was also spotlessly clean and tidy, making me feel right at home from the moment I arrived. And to top it off, the internet connection was fast and reliable, which is always a bonus when traveling. Overall, I would highly recommend this place to anyone looking for a comfortable, well-equipped, and hassle-free stay. Thanks again to the host for being so wonderful.
We actually went as a couple and with friends. There's no option for that here. I am going to repeat some things you will have read in other reviews but there is much more that isn't. The place in general and the cottages are immaculate. We had a single cottage, not an attached one, same as did both of the other couples who were with us. All were equally nice. But it was not only the cottage, but the grounds, Heck they even racked the sand each night.. all the sand. The staff were amazing and more than earn they salary. They were great. We will return to the place again, so anything I say next is not to indicate anything other then there is always some room for improvement. In our cottage, (#01) you have to wait a good five minutes for hot water in the shower if you are to take your shower at 6am... later in the day, we noticed the hot water came faster, but I normally don't shower at 11am. Also, there are no hand towels, so if you are going to wash your hands, you have to use your bath towel. You get a thermal carafe of brewed coffee and a local newspaper left for you each morning on the terrace The coffee was not very hot, but it was OK. My wide did request a kettle and they did bring one to us. There is a safe in the room , but it is not programmable, nor is there any number pad. You need a key for it and that means a trip to the front desk. Ask for it when you check in. We didn't as we have never seen a safe like this before. The electrical outlets, with the exception of one on the terrace are all dual spade Philippine electrical outlets. Since, in the Philippines, when you buy something electrical, you often get a EU, or UK or US three prong plug, the lack of 'universal outlets and/or a converter in the room meant the only place my wife could plug in the hair straightener was on the terrace, outside. So bring your own converters and if you are coming from the USA, don't plug anything in. There is no 115V service. The food in is good and priced very fairly. However, breakfast items are beyond minimal. You want eggs? OK if you other sunny-side up, you will get two eggs with hard yolks. (That may be what you want, but I like runny yolks. One of our group not understanding how things works, ordered two sunny-side up eggs. He was given two two-egg orders... four eggs. Want them easy over?... that's not on the menu. You can get 'firm' scrambled eggs. And you can get an omelette if you want tomatoes and onions in it, not wrapped into it. But that is the only type of omelette. Our group grumbled a bit about the egg issues including fried eggs that arrived pretty cold. . Want cereal? Well that is only cornflakes, (which I ordered as there was no other option). It was served in a cup with some half sour (to my taste buds) 'fresh' mink in a separate coffee cup (not a pitcher) and no sugar. You have to ask for sugar separately. And yeh, the milk doesn't pour nicely out of the coffee cup. There are no other breakfast items on the menu. In
Good location just the back of SM city.Nice and clean condo. Can cook as they provide utensils and cook ware and stove.Definitely loved to be back here again next time
At long last , back to Davao City, now with friends! The hotel has improved its services since last time I was there. Same friendly smiles from the lovely staff. They have complete toiletries now, so aside from toothbrush and toothpaste, they provide shampoo, lotion, showercaps etc in neat boxes. They served breakfast and ala carte meals through out evening! Being a small hotel with big enough rooms is comforting! Just a few walk from hotel is the nightmarket which is as usual very organized and secured. From there we binged on grilled food, durian and durian icecream, pomelo free taste too!

JJohn IsaacOur family of five had a fantastic stay at Acacia Hotel Davao, where the warm and accommodating staff made us feel right at home. The rooms were spacious, clean, and well-equipped, providing plenty of space for everyone to relax after exploring the city. We loved the breakfast buffet, which offered a wide variety of delicious options that catered to both kids and adults. The pool area was a favorite for the kids, while we appreciated the peaceful ambiance of the lounge. Conveniently located near popular attractions, restaurants, and shopping areas, the hotel made it easy to explore Davao City. Overall, Acacia Hotel Davao delivered a perfect mix of comfort, convenience, and excellent service, making it a top choice for families.
PPengguna TetamuPlace is strategically located along the parade route for the kadayawan festivities. Its also most of the public transportation passed by. So moving around wouldnt be difficult. Locals are friendly, if you get lost just ask politely. Fares are universal for public transport but make sure to bring loose bills like extra coins to limit hassle transactions. The property is outdated though and theres no bidet in the bathroom. They dont have concierge thus make sure to packed lightly. Theres 1 lift available to move between floors. Price was a bit high due to the peak demands as the property was fully booked. Need to check the AC upon check in as the 1st room I got AS was working but cannot cool the room in itself. Upon technician visit, they were kind enough to accommodate me on the 2nd room considering they were fully booked during the festivities. Generally speaking, booked ahead and plan your itineraries prior to booking to maximize your wallet potential. Food stalls are walk away from the property same as other attractions.
PPengguna TetamuMy stay at the Hop Inn Hotel Davao was unavoidable due to my primary hotel was fully booked during my last two nights in Davao. However, I was pleased with its location, cleanliness and the staff's professionalism (Front Desk, Housekeeping and Security Guard.)
PPengguna TetamuCheck-in was a breeze and the location is very near the airport! For an affordable price, the room with a kettle is good enough and it provides a water dispenser which for me is a big plus! Thanks to the staff for keeping the room and premises clean and welcoming.
LLHIZZThe furniture inside the rooms is too old, and bathroom fixtures are too old, no hot water and not well cleaned as well. Sauna has no hot water too, but surroundings are cozy and huge. So disappointed, Will not come back again☹️
PPengguna TetamuThis 70 + year old hotel surely exceeded my expectations. The check-in process was straight forward and simple so I quickly found myself in my room. This room was nicely furnished and newly renovated with all the standard necessary amenities. Very comfortable king sized bed with very clean sheets and pillows. A couple of bedside light switches were broken though. The bathroom was very clean, with ample supply of towels and toiletries. The dinning area where a buffet is set up was cool, smelling good and no insects flying around. The staff was very helpful and accomodating. Very attentive service. Reasonable priced food both for the buffet and ala cart menu. Enjoyed the hotel's bar at night. The Blue Moon. Drinks and karaoke. There is no swimming pool. There is a large garden where one can eat al fresco. Overall a very good experience.
PPengguna TetamuWe used to frequent at GoHotels (other branches) many years ago so I know that it’s a reputable hotel. But this time, COME ON. They renovated the exterior and lobby of GH Lanang to look new but the rooms are way too old. I paid 4,100+ for 2 nights and it was not worth it - TERRIBLE at that. I didn’t sleep well because of the room state and avoided using the toilet and shower as much as I could because just look at the photos and be the judge. Not only did it look bad, it also smelled bad. On my 2nd morning, I kindly requested for room service but the staff informed me that they only do room service on a guests’s 3rd day but I was only on a 3D2N stay so I figured I wasn’t qualified. I went on and requested that the CR at least be sprayed with air freshener because it was smelly (I literally told them it was smelly). They agreed this time so I expected it to have been done upon my return in the evening but unfortunately it wasn’t (still smelly when I arrived) and I didn’t bother to request again. There was no exhaust fan in the toilet - only a small window that didn’t help at all with the smell up to my last day. Note that there is no “main” CR door - only 2 separate glass doors, one for the toilet and one for the shower. So expect to smell your own poop in the entire because the doors would not hold off the smell for you, lol. You can see the sink from your bed because it was just… there. The only redeeming factor of that room was the duvet and 2 of the pillows (the pillow cases of the other 2 were old and cheap). Other small things I should note: in-room phone wasn’t working so I had to google the number and call the front desk from my mobile phone. I borrowed a flat iron and was quickly brought up to me (thank you, staff). I also requested for a towel change (just 1; there were 2) on my first night because the towels were giving off this weird smell. They quickly changed it (thank you again) but it smelled the same so maybe it was the detergent being used that smelled weird. I let it go. One of the bedside lamps had small stains that looked like blood, which freaked me out NGL. Look, I wasn’t expecting a luxurious stay. I’m a frequent traveller who even stays at smaller, unfamiliar hotels when on long trips to smaller and farther towns. But this was way too bad. I’ve stayed at many rooms like that of what I experienced with GH but I only paid 800-1,000/night so who am I to complain? With GoHotels, I expected more because it’s a Robinson’s property. Heck, Gokongwei group had an advertisement at the lobby so I expected a decent stay at bare minimum! With that experience, I will NEVER stay at ANY GoHotels again and will probably avoid Summit hotels too because it was being advertised at the lobby and I don’t wanna risk paying more money for another sub-par experience. P.S. I cannot comprehend how others have recently rated GH Lanang with 5 stars LOL
PPengguna TetamuI stayed in Blue Lotus Hotel in July 2023 for one night, although I frequently visited their Sky View Restaurant. I had a great experience. The room was quite spacious, approximately 30 sq metres. The elevator is one of a kind where you do not need to touch it but simply use your RFID-enabled hotel keycard. I believe this was for sanitizing measures taken by the hotel management since the pandemic era. The room has qiblah direction on the ceiling, and they provide Muslim travellers with prayer mats as well as Holy Quran. Very thoughtful touch since none of the hotels in Davao City provide this in their room. The housekeeping staff were also attentive and it took less than 10 minutes for them to deliver the iron & board. The hotel has a Malaysian Chef, Chef Shah who cooks authentic Malaysian dishes like sate, murtabak, chicken curry, daging masak hitam and nasi beriani.
PPengguna TetamuGreat place to stay, the staff are very accommodating, Facilities are well maintained, Neat room. Water in shower gives a relaxing massage;) Swimming at night is great. Quiet place. Place is near the airport, mall, church, park and Roxas food park.
PPengguna TetamuMe and my friend had a few days stay in RedDoorz Plus near SM Lanang. It is very affordable and worth your money. It has a basic amenities (bed, private t&b, tv, acu, window, toiletries, small table). But it is enough for people who are looking for a place just to sleep and most of the time outside. The room is not that spacious. Location wise: very accessible for taxi and grab, very close to SM Lanang like you can walk going there Amenities nearby: restaurant on the ground floor, stores across & nearby, laundry shop a few meters away Staff is very accommodating and helpful.
