"I understood why this place had such a high rating upon arrival, it is definitely deserved. The meeting with the owner at the pier was very nice and kind because we had heavy luggage. The rooms are very cozy and clean, and it's like there's everything you might need - every need is anticipated. And the view from the window is simply breathtaking. Thank you for the hospitable reception!"

Every detail, from the scent of the rooms to the amenities provided, feels carefully considered. We thoroughly enjoyed our time at Portosalo. The team made everything feel seamless and special. The location is excellent-tucked away and private, yet still walkable (about 8 minutes to the pier). They'll pick you up in a buggy if needed. The motorbike rental was convenient and in great condition, and breakfast each day was lovely. Highly recommended."

"The room was quite spacious for two people. While the amenities were a bit dated, they were perfectly functional. The bathroom featured a separate wet and dry area and was quite clean. We ended up staying for about 4 days. We had initially planned to stay only two days and then move to another hotel, but we found it so comfortable that we decided to extend our stay. We didn't encounter any mosquitoes during our entire stay, but be warned that sweets will definitely attract ants. The shower had great water pressure and the water temperature was just right. Overall, I'd give it a 5-star rating. It was also very quiet. We opted to clean the room ourselves and didn't request housekeeping services, which enhanced our sense of privacy. On our departure day, the hotel staff proactively offered to drive us to the pier, which was an incredibly thoughtful gesture. The owner was very courteous, though we only met them a few times during our stay. We would definitely choose this hotel again on our next visit."

"Love the room and the in-house pool. Hotel also provided ferry service when checking out but would've been nice it we were be able to picked up from the pier when arriving since its a 10mins walk with luggages from the pier"

"We stayed overnight on the island and booked quickly. It was convenient to get there from Na Ban. The bungalows/rooms were cozy and clean. For our family of 5, we took two double bungalows. We paid an extra 300 baht on-site for a mattress for our 6-year-old child. Within a 5-minute walk, there's a cafe where you pay 299 baht, get a grill, and can pick seafood from a buffet to cook yourself. We really enjoyed everything."

"It was a nice stay for four nights. The island has sun, beach, restaurants and bars to offer. If you like those then this is your place to go. The hotel was nice, but the bed was really rock hard. Kind and nice staff, they helped us with everything we asked for. You can rent a motorbike for 400 baht per day, and that's including gasoline. All in all we were very satisfied"

"I really enjoyed the hotel's garden-style layout. The staff were incredibly friendly. It was also very convenient that the hotel could arrange motorcycle rentals. I would definitely stay here again."

"This hotel opens directly onto the beach you see in the pictures, and the water quality is great. It's not crowded at all, so you won't feel like you're packed in like sardines, and there are water activities available. We booked for two people, and it was only about 150 per person… I also have to praise the hotel's breakfast (which is free)! Upon check-in, they give you a breakfast voucher per person. In the morning, you just go to the front desk before 10 AM and say you're there for breakfast. Then you can pick your favorite spot by the beach and wait for a server to take your order. Breakfast is à la carte, with options for either Thai or Western style. We originally thought we'd order Western for the photos, but it turned out to taste really good too! 👍 If you want to relax comfortably on the island for a couple of days on a tight budget, I highly recommend this place."

"Cute hotel with a good view on the sea. Nice rooms but you can hear the people walk by and the room darkness isn’t really good if you want to sleep late in the morning. Breakfast served directly in the room around 9am. Unfortunately the taste wasn’t really good. Our stay was positive in general!"

"Overall it was great. The only minor drawback was that I rented a car but didn't use it much, so I spent an extra 350 baht. 🤣 It rained and I didn't use the swimming pool either. The price was a bit high, so you had to pay a little to get it. Otherwise, the atmosphere and the interior of the counter were great. Recommended"
