"We recently stayed at Neagles Retreat Villas, and it exceeded all our expectations. The villas are beautifully appointed, with all the creature comforts you could wish for in a luxury accommodation. The views are simply spectacular and offer a true sense of immersion in the Clare Valley experience. Waking up to misty, foggy mornings that gradually revealed rows of grapevines and rolling hills in the background was magical. We even spotted kangaroos grazing right in front of our villa, adding to the genuine country escape feel. The villa itself was immaculate and thoughtfully designed. The deep bath was perfect for soaking in after a day of exploring local wineries, and the shower pressure and temperature were spot on. The bed was incredibly comfortable, and all the seating areas were cosy and inviting. We ordered the breakfast box, which was fantastic—locally sourced, delicious, and generous in portion size, with a great variety of options. The complimentary wine was a lovely touch that added to the experience. The gas fireplace and ducted heating kept us warm and cosy, making it even more enjoyable. The booking process was seamless, with clear instructions, confirmations, and follow-up texts that were helpful and thorough. Aimee, our host, was exceptional—knowledgeable, friendly, and dedicated. Overall, Neagles Retreat Villas offers a beautiful and relaxing experience. It’s the perfect getaway to unwind, explore the Clare Valley, and enjoy the stunning scenery. We can’t recommend it highly enough!"

"We absolutely loved the Clare Valley Cottages and had a great stay – wish it could’ve been longer. The place is located right on the Reisling Trail (great spot for cyclists!), just on the outskirts of Clare. We stayed in a very nice and roomy self-contained unit, complete with small kitchenette. The unit was bright and airy, nicely furnished, and spotlessly clean. It was so quiet and peaceful – we had a great sleep. The TV and Wifi both worked well, no problems. We had an amazing stay and would highly recommend this place to other travelers."

"We stayed in the Clare Hillside Apartments at the end of November for a family affair, renting two 2 bedroom units and 1 one bedroom unit. The units are all brand new, exceptionally well appointed and layed out. Lucinda was lovely, responding to any queries promptly, very helpful and a delight to talk to. The units are centrally located in Clare and access was very easy. Each unit has a decent sized balcony with zip track blinds to keep the weather and bugs out. Every unit's car park space also has a charging port for EV vehicles. Every bedroom has a TV and the main TV is huge. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay here and we highly recommend Clare Hillside. We'll be back."

"We did not stay but made a detour to visit the place where the first grapes in Clare Valley were grown! What a property! We did not realise until we visited the important place it has in the history of Clare Valley. Great self directed tour of a beautiful property. What an amazing history- thank you for sharing it with us. Would love to stay one day!"

"Stayed for two nights at the beautifully appointed and perfectly located Brice Hill Country Lodge in the Clare Valley, South Australia recently. It is adjacent to the famous Riesling Trail. We had the Tim Knappstein Suite - had everything needed for a perfect chilly winter stay, including a great wood fired heater, as well as RC aircon, electric blankets and provisions for cooked breakfasts. In a very peaceful setting, with kangaroos grazing on the grass, this lodge specialises in accommodation for couples only."
