"Family of 4, stayed in the lodge cabins, they were well equipped with fridges and deep freezers to store food. Rooms were clean, recommend taking your own blankets though or will need to pay to hire some. Good beach for kids to snorkel."

"As soon as we met Sue, the owner, we knew we were going to enjoy our stay. She was friendly, provided us with local information, and could not have been nicer. The cabin itself, was adorable. It had everything we could have needed including an extra bed, table and chairs, and a deck with two chairs. the kitchen was well organized. They loaned us a shovel, and beach towels when we went to Hot Beach, as well as a laundry rack for drying clothes. They have a washer and they will dry your clothing for you or else they have old fashion drying racks. They have a great bus walk that begins outside the hotel. It is worth the walk. The hotel is a short walk to the town, which has several restaurnats, and little art shops. It is a great location to visit forest and marine parks. IT is near Mateuraangi Jetty where you can see beautiful sunsets."

"We visited overnight for a wedding with our family of 5. The motel room was perfect for a couple, teenage son and 2x under 11 year olds. With 2x double beds and a set of bunks. The pool and other fun activities were a highlight for our kids. The grounds are well kept and the service of the desk staff is welcoming and accommodating."

"We stayed in the room only, which has the smallest double bed and only two small pillows. There is one powerpoint outlet in the room, and the walls are paperthin. Other guests were extremely loud on both nights - firstly, in the outdoor communal area after 10pm, drinking and playing games, but also in their rooms. We could hear other people talking, playing games and snoring in the night. The bathroom facilities were clean and showers had hot water, but unfortunately you couldn't even sleep at this place."

"We stayed here for one night, partly because it was one of the only, if not the only, property that would permit a single night stay. The property is great - parking for all, there is a pool (we didn't use) and a nice green area across the street to have kids go play in/burn off energy. The room itself was fine though there was no AC. It was also a bit dirty - an opened can of some soda beverage was under the mini dining table located in the corner. Would otherwise rank this lower but one must judge it based on what it is - a motel, not a full-service resorted, etc..."
