"For short notice this hotel was awesome. From check in to out was delightful. Front desk was nice and friendly and hotel was pet friendly aswell. I will be using this location for future use and to host small gatherings."

"This place is like a home away from home. They have a washer and dryer and a full size kitchen with pots and pans, plates. All I had to do was buy groceries and cook my meals. There are not very many places to eat in Cotulla. The place is quiet. The staff were super friendly and helpful. I will definitely stay here again."

"3 of 5… This site is a basic extended stay hotel, mainly built for local oilfield and transients. Amenities on the room are available (full size fridge, dishwasher, kitchen supplies, coffee maker). Recliner in room. Issues with room: Soiled top comforter (looked like baby fecal matter), Sheets on bed appeared to have been slept in already, and the mattresses are sunken in. Only bathroom washcloth originally just looked dingy, however upon use was stained with either oil or mud/dirt. Non-smoking room had a strong smell of smoke in the room. Required sleeping the entire night with a window open, running the HVAC unit fan (not using AC compressor), running the bathroom ventilation fan, and needing to purchase Febreze spray and a glade plug in to manage the smell. Every fabric item in the room (carpet, curtains, bedspread and frames, and shower curtain had a foul odor). Hotel was not accommodating in the room issue or adjusting a group reservation to an individual person. Concerns raised again at checkout were dismissed. Additionally, IHG customer service line was unable to assist with folio issue, referring back to the hotel, who originally could not assist and referred the concern to IHG. Just know what to expect at this facility. This was business travel and a facility I would not stay at again."

"I spent two weeks and left with mixed feelings. The hotel itself is worn and showing its age, but not bad. The staff is, for the most part, friendly and helpful. They are also very young, which is fine, but it seemed like they were missing the adult in charge. A lot of unforced errors between housekeeping mix-ups, being out of coffee, and a general sense that no one was in charge. It's likely tough to find proper staffing in a small town with a lot of hotel competition serving a transient customer base such as myself. That being said, I'll be trying the Candlewood next hitch, not due to the staff itself, but the amenities and condition of the rooms themselves, Pros: -Free breakfast and dinner with extended hours which is nice for the customer base they serve -Free coffee 24/7 (except when they drop the ball) -Friendly staff -Beds are comfy; a big plus. Cons: -The food is very meh. Reminded me of school lunches from back in the day. Who was preparing mattered, as sometimes not bad. To be expected given the lack of a real kitchen. -The showers are terrible- low water pressure (somewhat understandable given it's south Texas). Horrid soft water, too much softener, to the point that no matter how much you scrub, you feel slimy. This is the deal breaker for me. Also, rarely hot water, regardless of morning or night. The rooms are fair, and as I mentioned, pretty worn carpet and furniture. There were other nit picks, but were handled by staff (such as missing TV remote, etc). Overall, not up to the Hilton brand, but livable. "

"we stayed for two days. january 18th and 19th. when we arrived the front desk clerk was friendly and very helpful. on the following day the replacement clerk was also very hospitable. i believe there names were Erica and Vanessa. we are pleased with the service we got from eveyone."
